The night was very chilly making a person shiver like a thin needle penetrating the body in every direction. It was very foggy and snow covering the trees like a very soft and warm blanket. Running through this forest Shaun was panting like a dog thirsty for water, he was looking for Jane. He hasn't seen her in four years and he was very excited at the thought of her face picturing the moment he gets to hug her in his arms.
From very far he could see man silhouette, very displeased he started getting near the man standing and he could recognize him at the first glance, his father.
"Dad, how...…how?" he couldn't continue and just stared at his father's face blankly.
"Shaun, my son", his father's eyes were filling with tears and hugged his son tightly.
They were crying in each other arms for quite long time. "Dad, how come you are here? What about Jane we were supposed to meet here, how did you know I was here? Did you come to see me?" he bombarded his father with serious of questions.
"Calm down son, I have something to tell you." Said his father calmly.
"Shaun, Jane is not coming but she is safe but we have to get out of here now."
"What are you talking about? Dad, where is Jane?" he asked his dad.
"Please, Shaun I can't explain everything now so first let's get out of here. We need to get out of this town right now." Shaun's father was begging him earnestly. His mind felt blank and just followed his father out of the forest and they heard loud sound of wolf howling which left them with goose bumps all of their bodies with fear.
