Shaun really wasn't on good mood for anything let alone going to school. He went down the stairs and his mom was waiting for him sitting and drinking coffee.
"Want some?" she was getting up to get him breakfast.
"No, water will do." he drank water and grabbed his key.
"I will drive you, let's go. " his keys were snatched out of his hands.
Shaun arrived early just to find the First Class was cancelled. So he started walking around the campus to find quiet place. Just when he was all alone he heard a very familiar voice which immediately disturbed his peace. It was James's voice, he was coming with Jane, Selina and one other guy.
"Hi, Shaun." James came to sit with Shaun not taking the hint that Shaun was there to avoid them.
"Do you guys always stick together, aren't siblings supposed to be the worst enemies?" Shaun addressed in annoying manner.
"Is that a question?" Jane answered with a question.
"Not at all." Shaun was not interested to continue talking.
"So Shaun, do you live in this town or did you move here when you got into college. But I don't remember seeing you on our freshman year." Selina brought it up hoping to support her friend as all of them sat down on the same table with Shaun.
"I came here to be alone." Shaun didn't like how they all sat down with him as if they are his friends. But then he encountered Jane's eyes by chance and regretted what he said the very second.
"Why are being so introverted, we could all be friends. Why do you keep drawing line making me upset?" James tried to cover up for Shaun. James liked Shaun the first time he saw him and really wanted to be friends with him.
"Sorry, I am not feeling well." Shaun didn't want to end on Jane's bad side so he quickly apologized.
They all were talking about mundane things in their life, about their class, assignments and more except for Shaun and Jane. They just sat there stealing glances at each other while the other is not noticing. After a while it was time for their class and they all went together to the main building.
After all the classes were over Shaun was looking terrible.
"OH, mate are you okay? You are looking deadly white." James asked half serious and half joking.
"I am fine."
"Is that your catchphrase, why are you always saying that?"
"Should I drive you home?" James asked politely.
"You are supposed to help me fix the interior of my house, James." Selina stopped him.
"I am not." James have never heard of that before.
"You did, remember. Jane brought her car. Jane can drive him home and you come with me. We have to stop by that place to buy some things." Selina dragged James out of the frame giving Shaun and Jane space.
"Let's go." Jane was quite satisfied with her friend's fast reflexes.
Shaun himself didn't hate the fact that he got time to be with Jane alone but he wasn't happy because of his circumstances and state. As soon as they got into the car he typed the destination on the GPS and closed his eyes.

Shaun was sleeping all the way back home as if he was in his own car more because he didn't know how to act around Jane or what to talk about with her. On the other hand Jane was getting more worried because the person who looked like who would beat a wild boar was sleeping all weakly looking in her car.
She drove according to the GPS but where she was going felt like as if she was kidnapping herself. It was very secluded and finally arrived at what seems an entrance to a forest. She pulled up her car.
"Ohm, Shaun can you wake up? I think I took the wrong way."
Shaun opened his eyes, " No, can you go up little bit more that way?"
Jane's eyes quivered and Shaun caught that. "It's okay. I am not gone take you, you will find a house after a 5 minute drive." He said.
"I didn't say anything." She felt a little bad at her actions.
"Your eyes did." His insignificant words with deep tone were graved into her heart. And she started driving without adding more words.
After driving for 5 minutes a big mansion appeared like magic. Jane's eyes couldn't contain all the amusement to herself.
"Is that your house? Is that a private hotel?" She kept wowing at the house while gaping her mouth.
"It is my house. Thank you for driving me home." He got out of the car.
Jane followed him out.
"And don't get me wrong but I don't like people coming here. So do you mind keeping the location to yourself?"
"Yeah, sure." Jane agreed without any further translation of his words.
"Thanks. Get home safe." His voice sounded so sweet Jane's heart melted second time that day at his words. After she saw Shaun got into the house, she turned her car around and left.
