"Shaun, you are late." His mom was waiting for him anxiously. But she couldn't get angry as soon as she saw his face.
"Let's go. The full moon is already up." She led him to the basement. He threw his bag and followed his mother.
The basement room was like a big soundproof prison solitary room with big steel door. There were several chains that could be used to lock a cargo container and scratches of big claws all over the walls and the door. All of the sudden Shaun started giving weird noises. He shrieked with extreme pain. All his bones started breaking down and he fell down to the ground with loud noise.
His mother was holding her mouth with her two hands. She was crying as if she felt the pain herself. But she pulled herself together. Quickly she went out and locked the door from outside. She sat down on the floor with her back leaning against the steel door for about 10 minutes waiting for Shaun to wake up. Suddenly a loud howling was heard from the room. Shaun's mother got up and looked through the porthole on the door. What was inside the room was not her son, it was a big gray WOLF, with very firm glowing blue eyes staring right at her.
"Are you okay?" she was almost whispering to herself. All that can be heard from the room was howling. Soon enough he calmed down and she slowly opened the door and let him out. She came a little closer a stroked his hair gently.
"Are you ready? Let's go." she said firmly.
Then the wolf run out of the house into the forest, he was running all over the forest. Shaun's mom came running after her son and started running with him at the same pace in order to keep him within boundaries. After running for hours, Shaun came back to the backdoor of the house and changed to his human for without any pain. There was a small cabinet outside from which he grabbed some cloths and entered the house.
"Shaun, you did a good job." his mother hugged him tightly.
"I think I am getting closer to gaining full control of my transformation." It was hopeful progress.
Shaun's parents were both werewolves. Since he was 10, his mother taught him everything he needed to know about the myth and facts about wolves and werewolves. And when he celebrated his 16th birthday, she showed him what she was and his future. His mother can control her transformation at her will even without the strength of the full moon.
But it was different for Shaun as he was young.
"You are getting the hang of it now." His mom encouraged him. "I bet you are hungry, let's eat dinner." Her eyes showed tears filled and ready to flow to her cheek any second.
"Mom, I am okay." He reassured his mom.

Jane sneaked to her house after driving Shaun. She quietly grabbed her shoes and climbed the stairs to her room. As soon as she entered her room chilly feeling moved from her spine to her entire body, the lights switched on its own.
Not on its own, her scary brother was sitting in her room waiting for her.
"Hi, James."
"Hi, James. It's already past midnight, where the hell were you? I called you 5 times."
"Look after I drove Shaun home, I got myself a nice dinner and enjoyed some time in solitude. It have been so long since I got time."
"I told mom you are going to come late from Selina's." he was going out and turned to ask, "What about Shaun, did he look okay?"
"I don't know I just dropped him off, we will see tomorrow."
James left her room and she dropped to her bed right away without even changing.
