Jane got in home later than expected with all three of her family members sitting on sofa. She was able to avoid being scolded because father and brother were luckily occupied by baseball to notice what time she got in. So she went in quietly to her room. She closed the door very slowly to avoid making sound. She was very happy, she fell on her bed and started to remember what happened to her 30 minutes ago. She is finally dating Shaun. She liked him very much. Just then someone swung the door to her room open. She jumped out of her bed and sighted with relief at the sight of her mother.
"Where were you, Jane? Don't tell me you have started dating?" Her mother was very quick to catch up. Jane answered with her smile. Her mother is just like her close friend and just as comfortable.
"What is he like? Can't you introduce me?"
"Mom, you are getting ahead of yourself. Today is our first day."
"Okay…okay. Just tell me then." Her mom climbed on her daughter's bed and they started chatting until they fall asleep on the same bed.

Shaun got home very late after dropping Jane. He knew Linda would have a lot to say about Jane. She was waiting for him as expected and he straight went to her.
"Shaun, do you like that girl?" she asked him after stalling for minutes.
"She is just a friend."
"I am asking because you never say a friend and even worse that friend is a girl."
"Please mom I have lived the way you like for 20 years, isn't it time for you to stop?"
"It is for you. It is not good to be involved romantically, especially now where you can't fully control you transformation."
"I am learning. It's not that I like her she is just someone I can talk to." He straight out lied to his mother's face.
"Shaun!" she was very angry and Shaun couldn't just accept what she wanted.
"I can't get through to you. You will never understand me." He stood up and went to his room.
Linda went straight to the wine cellar. It have been so long since the last time she had a drink. She literally lives for her son so she tends to avoid things he doesn't like but she couldn't pass that night without a drink.
She came to conclusion where her son is never going to listen to her so she quickly made a call, "Hello, I want you to put a tail on someone 24/7." She hired someone to follow Jane.
