Jane is used to wake up early but she was knocked out the next day. Her mom ran upstairs to wake her up. She swung the door open.
"Jane, how can you still be in bed? You slept like that. Oh my, please get up it's time." She organized some of her daughter's stuff while waking her up and left.
Jane came downstairs and sat on the table to eat breakfast.
"Where is mom?" She found only James downstairs.
"They left. Did you not sleep well? You have bloodshot eyes."
"I had a nightmare. I was being chased by werewolves all night."
"Let's go. That's why I told you to live nicely. Nice kids aren't harassed by nightmares."
Jane threw a towel near her at her brother's face. He left the house laughing at Jane's reaction.
Jane was feeling sluggish all day. On the contrary Shaun was on a very good condition and that surprised Jane. All she thought was how he was on the verge of collapsing few hours earlier and then feeling all lively the next day.
Shaun and James started getting close little by little. Especially since, they both like game their conversation level was on the same wavelength. This was the second time Shaun wanted to have a friend.
After class Shaun went directly to Jane.
"Hi." He said daringly without minding James.
"Oh, hi. How are you feeling?" asked Jane out of politeness.
"Better. I want to thank you about yesterday. Maybe I can treat you to lunch or dinner if you have time." He asked her out openly.
"Good, can we join you? I am starving." James interrupted obviously because he didn't want Shaun hanging out alone with Jane. "Let's go." He led the way as though if he was the one paying. They all went on the same car. James was driving so he took them to a restaurant he knew upon agreement. It was overall fun but Jane and Shaun were little disappointed. It could have been a time only for them if it wasn't for James.
"Shall we go now?" Shaun brought it up.
"Should we go to our place or nearby gaming center?" James asked Shaun.
"Gaming center." Shaun didn't hesitate at all.
"Are you going somewhere?" Selina looked at them.
"We are going to play." They stood up leaving the girls and went out.
"What is wrong with James, when the hell is he going to take the hint?" Selina was feeling frustrated.

Shaun soon enough got used to having a friend and started feeling stable with everything in his life.
Shaun went out to take a walk as the sun was already down and he had nothing to do but ended up driving to the main street and into town. He stopped by a park remembering James saying that Jane loved coming there. He sat there for almost 2 hours without any special reason. Just when he was about to get up he spotted Jane.
"HI. What are you doing here?" she came a little closer.
"I was just…" he had nothing to say. "What about you?"
"Just getting fresh air."
"Do you mind taking a walk?" he brought it up and Jane agreed readily.
They walked for quite some time talking about common things that they both know.
"So, how long have you lived there?" Jane wanted to know more about him.
"Ever since I was born. It is bit secluded road and the forest is private property so almost nobody can guess that a house is constructed there."
"Well, you must have been so lonely if you grew up there alone. What about school? You must have went to high-school in town."
"No, I was home-schooled."
"Are you genius? How did you get such high GPA being home-schooled?"
"You have seen my neighborhood, I had nothing else to do except studying so I passed college entrance exam when I was 10."
Jane was staring at him with baffled eyes.
"That's was annoying version of saying I am genius." She replied. "Does that mean you don't have any siblings?"
"No, just me and my mom."
"On that house?" Jane truly felt sorry for them.
"I don't really like others coming. It's quiet and nice. I am used to being alone."
"Does that include me?" Jane suddenly stopped and faced him one step closer than she was.
"What?" his heart was beating thousand times faster.
"You said you don't like others coming to your place."
"Not at all, do you want come tomorrow?" he daringly uttered the words.
The smile on her face that followed almost gave him heart attack.
"Looks like we have a plan for tomorrow. Have a good evening." She started walking.
"I will drive you home." He followed her.
