Jane was also on her way home with her best friend Selina. Jane unlike Shaun lives an ordinary life. Her parents make enough money that their children would enjoy everything they wanted as they grew up. James pulled up in front of the two friends and they got into the car. They started chatting since the moment they got into the car leaving James with no space to get into the conversation and he knows better than to interrupt when they are talking. They reached home with Selina as they spend most time of the day either at Jane's or Selina's. The three of them entered and the quite house turned into a pub in moments. Their parents were already home making dinner in the kitchen although their mother was sitting and supervising like the boss. Their mother came out of the kitchen to see them.
"Hi Selina, guys please hurry up I almost starve to death waiting for you. I am never waiting ever again."
"Mom you are a traitor. Why wouldn't you wait to eat with your handsome son." James answered in a clingy tone.
"When on earth are you going to grow up?" his mother gave up.
"The feeling is mutual." His sister added.
They all sat on the dining table. While eating dinner naturally they started talking about their day and all of them had a lot to say.
"And I met a weird dude today." Said James "I think he just moved to this town, you saw him earlier right Jane he was sitting with me."
"Yeah, so is he your new friend or something?"
"No, but I think he will soon become."
"Don't you have enough people you know, how many friends do you need?"
"Well that depends on them, I am willing to become friends with one who is not interested in you?"
"You are the reason I still don't have a boyfriend; you know that, right?
"I just don't want you to end up with some kind of jerk."
"I get to decide that."
"Enough. Kids, what are you doing with food in front of you?" their father stopped their cute quarrel.
After Selina went home, their parents were having a cozy time together having wine in the living room.
"James seems overprotective I think he is worse than you." Their mother brought it up.
"He is right though."
"Honey!"
"I mean I love to see how much they care for each other, I think we raised our children very well."
"That I agree with."
