Episode 1
"Can you believe that we were invited to the party of all parties?!"
A boy was over excited his dance moves didn't make up for his goofiness.
Everyone at the party goers were all at halt, all of them mesmerized by the moves of this kid.
Edgar who was more like a wingman, stood by feeling so embarrassed by his friend's excitement and outburst. Everyone was looking at his bad dancer friend, but for some reason Edgar knew that those eyes were judging him.
"What is this kid doing?" Murmurs coming from the crowd whispered around Edgar.
That wasn't the worst case scenario for a guy like him to be in, no one really understood what Edgar's friend had consumed because the way he was so hyper, for a young person in a rave he surely was high on something.
He made matters worse when he began to tie-up his t-shirt making it look like a top, and tearing up his jeans then he gets closer to Edgar who wasn't even dancing anymore because of the spotlight taken by his friend.
"Do you think these guys are dating?" A guy from the crowd asked in confusion.
"You are still asking the obvious question, look how they are looking at each other." A girl answered.
"And it's such a shame the other guy is kinda cute!" Another girl commented sipping on a drink.
As if those words didn't make Edgar hate himself even more for being in this kind of situation, the fact that he knew the other girl was talking about him, though he knew he didn't have a chance with her but her let alone any other girl Who saw him dancing with a guy was killing his street cred.
"Are you ready, bro?!" His friend was really feeling the music.
"Uh, ready for what exactly?" Edgar confused as hell.
"For my special dance!" His friend starting to scoot his behind closer to Edgar.
Edgar was still confused about what his friend was doing on the dance floor, so he really didn't take anything else seriously because just like the rest of the party he was mesmerized by this.
The song changed and the song that started was the kind of song let's just say that guys, boys and even men would be extremely excited to see a girl dance too.
The moment he heard the beats and bass of the song Edgar's friend started to lose his mind, "Ohh, this is my jam!" he shouted.
He started to move his behind shaking it up, down, left, right and centre this guy just changed the whole mood, girls started to scream for him and the guys well they were just being guys.
Just like all teenage raves are supposed to be this one wasn't that different either, it was in different colours illuminating and changing to each beat.
Edgar's friend did something that no one was waiting for he pulled Edgar closer to him and they stood in the centre of the dance floor, unexpectedly he began to grind on Edgar.
Every boy in their teen years has experienced some kind of embarrassment but this here, wasn't just embarrassment for Edgar this was the end of him and his manhood. It wouldn't matter what he attempted to try he knew that it was all over for him.
The stares, and the wide opened mouths said it all everyone who was at the party had something good to tell their friends and family, yes the party alone was fun but this what was happening here was the highlight of it all.
Edgar was so uncomfortable his thoughts and mind turned against him and just went blank, Edgar tried to step back away from his friend's flat ass behind, but it was as if they were in sync whenever Edgar moved his friend did too.
Up on the ceiling one of the illuminating lights was slowly getting lose, no one really noticed their surroundings in these kinds of events. Due to the loud party; loud music, excessive drinking, and teenage homonial recklessly.
'This is the worst night of my life, the good thing is no one has taken out their phones yet' Edgar thought to himself.
When they usually say be careful of what you say; they were actually directing it to Edgar because it was either coincidence or just bad karma because just after he thought of that.
Someone lost in the crowd suggested, "Yo! This is going to blow the internet!"
"Hey! Everyone take out your phones now!" His friend shouted.
Right after he said that everyone felt like an idiot for not recording this moment, after all it was one of a kind and rare moments. If they didn't record this who knew when will a moment like this show itself again.
Everyone took out their phones, pointed them at Edgar and his friend who was really caught up in the moment and not noticing anything else but himself. Everyone started to take videos and some where shooting, while others were calling and texting.
"Oh you got to be kidding me." Edgar couldn't believe it himself.
Phone flashed before his eyes who was not only getting blinded by the non-stop flashing phone lights but he was also getting butt pushed by his friend to the centre of the dance floor, the lose illuminating light was really closer to fall.
It's not like while it was getting lose it wasn't making any sound to show that it was lose and if not taken cared off it will fall onto someone and kill them.
It was squeaking, getting lose by each passing moment, Edgar was pushed to be in the centre where the light was loosening but he didn't think to look up. Because it's not like he didn't hear the knots, nails and wires getting lose.
'What the hell is that?" Edgar scans around the room but he didn't find anything wrong, "Whoa, those flashes must have scrambled up my brain because I can't even see clearly anymore."
The light loosened once more time and this time around it was now dangling right on top of Edgar and his friend... Again Edgar heard this disturbing sound but he assumed it was all in his head and ignored it again.
The lamp cord snapped like something just cut it in then it just fell, everyone saw it falling and instead of doing something like moving Edgar and his friend away, they just stood there helpless and gasped.
Edgar raised his head to look up and the light was heading straight for both of them in full speed, he knew that there wasn't going to be enough time to move both of them out of harm's way in the knick of time. So Edgar did one thing he saw and believed was right at that moment.
He kicked his friend behind who stumbled forward face first but what Edgar didn't have the time to process was that when he kicked him out of harm's way the force of the kick will also push him exactly where the light will hit.
Just like that the illuminating light hit Edgar on the face dropping him on the ground before it finishes him off, by dropping on top of his face squashing it.
Pop!
That's the sound it made as it squashed it. The screams of everyone who witnessed this scarring sight was unimaginable.
Edgar felt himself floating but he wasn't sure what he was experiencing, as he wasn't alive nor even dead... There was nothing, everything was in total darkness. Yet again he knew and could sense his existence and non-existence at the same time.
'Where am I? Didn't I just die after being squashed by that illuminating light? No that's impossible if I was dead, I wouldn't feel myself. So where am I?' Those were the questions that Edgar was asking and answering himself.
Edgar was in total blackness, the kind of blackness that the world was before time and before everything else came to what it is today.
The next thing that Edgar had was strange, it was a sound he wasn't used to hearing this out loud, also it was a sound he was familiar with.
Flip! Flip! Flip!
'What is that?' Edgar feels him floating in nowhere.
Something under him starts to flicker like a car light approaching an empty dark road, it's in a form of a circle. It flickers then it fades.
He looks down watching at this mysterious light flickers before his eyes, a fresh breeze flows through him, it comes from the light without no warning. A gravitational force pulls him down like how a vacuum cleaner sucks the dirt.
Edgar really tried to fight this oppressive pressure but it really didn't matter what he tried, this force was more powerful than anything he ever came across off, realizing that what he is doing is pointless.
He just gives in, allowing himself to be pulled more like pushed.
