R: Sylvia
L: Katy, Kira, Lucy, Marcus.
Narration: Sylvia and her friends walk out of a movie theater chuckling loudly.
Katy: Oh my God! Did you see the dude's face? He was so terrified.
Sylvia: Alright girls, I have to go home. My folks would be worried sick if I don't get home in time for dinner.
Kira: Okay, let me give you a ride home then.
Sylvia: Oh, don't bother. Besides, I want to pick somethings from a store before I get home. And don't worry, I will take a shortcut.
Kira: Who said I am worried about you? I just don't want anything to happen to the sister of my crush and by the way, tell Ethan that I say hi and don't forget to call me when you get home. And be very careful.
Sylvia: Yes, mom, I will be very careful thanks. But I have to go. Good night.
Narration: Sylvia walks down the road leaving Kira and Katy standing in front of the theater. She makes a turn into a lonely alley and slips her hand into her jacket pocket to clutch her pepper spray.
Narration: There is mumbling down the alley and it gets to Sylvia's hearing. Sounds like a couple having an argument, Sylvia turns to leave but stops after a step and turns back edged on by curiosity to find out what was happening at the end of the alley.
Narration: Sylvia walked behind a wall and peeps from behind it. She sees a woman on her knees in front of a man who was holding out a file to the lady.
Lucy: If only you could just reconsider…I don't want to stop.
Marcus: Don't even think of trying to change my mind because it is already made up. It states here clearly in these documents the terms of our contract and you have violated a term so unless I am wrong about your offence, I am pretty sure that this contract is over.
Narration: Sylvia recognizes the lady as Lucy Evans, a multimillionaire who was the CEO of a fashion industries but she doesn't recognize the man and for Lucy to plead that man, then he must have a pretty good influence on people.
Marcus: Now if you don't mind, I have a fund raiser to attend to and with your time with me, you should already know that I despise lateness.
Narration: Sylvia silently cursed the man under her breath. She watched a celebrity go down on her knees for a man that she couldn't recognize and he was this cold hearted.
Narration: A black jeep drove up to Marcus and he climbs into the car but doesn't shut the door instead, he looks at the woman who was still on her knees in pleas.
Marcus: Get up from there.
Narration: The woman climbs into a car at a corner and drive away. Marcus looks around and his eyes falls on where Sylvia was hiding making her to hide. She hears a car drive away and exhales.
Narration: She walks out of where she was hiding and she walks into Marcus letting out a stifled scream. Involuntarily, Sylvia hand comes out of her jacket alongside her pepper spray which released a great deal of its content onto his face
Marcus: Grr, what the hell in heaven's name.
Narration: Sylvia immediately pulls out her handkerchief and begins to clean his shirt and face which were red like blood. She threw the pepper can away as far as possible down the alley while muttering a bunch of silent apologies.
Marcus: Let go of me. First you eavesdrop on my discussion and now you pepper spray me in the face and clothes. Nice work for a first impression.
Sylvia: I am so sorry; I didn't mean to—
Marcus: You didn't mean to eavesdrop on me or you didn't mean to spray me?
Narration: Sylvia looked at the man and studied him. The man's face was cold and emotionless. His eyes blazed with a dark blue flame as if hiding a great deal of wickedness behind it. He was muscularly built and was richly dressed like a very important man… that she had problem in recognizing.
Marcus: So are you going to keep staring at my face or are you going to tell me why you where eavesdropping on the discussion that I was having and why you had to pepper spray me.
Sylvia: I already apologized for that.
Marcus: Well obviously, your apologies are not good enough and for a young lady, you are extremely rude.
Sylvia: Well, I don't think that I was trying to make an impression…particularly not to you. And if the suit is so much a big deal, you can give it to me and I will get back to you neater than it was before I sprayed you.
Marcus: Wow, you are rude. I will take it that you don't know who I am that is why you are talking to me this way.
Narration: Marcus let out a laugh, a cold dry one that sent the chills running down Sylvia's spine.
Marcus: Well, since you said it, write down your address here and I will send the suit your way.
Narration: Marcus hands her a booklet and a pen which she receives with a growl. She scribbles down and address and hands it back to Marcus.
Narration: The same black jeep as before drives up to where Marcus is standing and the bodyguard climbs out and opens the door.
Marcus: You do know that first impression matters wherever you are, you don't know where your help will come from.
Sylvia: I will put that in mind but I certainly doubt if any help of mine will come from you… not a chance.
Narration: The jeep drives off out of the alley leaving Sylvia standing alone in the middle of an empty alley. Sylvia sighs and walks out of the alley then she flagged a cab to take her home.
