R: Marcus
L: Zeke, Mercy, Waiter, Bodyguard, Sylvia, Ladies
Narration: Marcus was seated on his desk when his telephone rang.
Marcus: Hello, mercy what is it and why are you still on duty by this time?... my cousin… let him in.
Narration: he clicks a button on the desk and the door opens. A man was standing there looking heavily built like himself. He walked into the room and the door closed behind him.
Marcus: Zeke, I never thought that I would ever have to see you again.
Zeke: Well, sorry for not meeting your expectations.
Narration: Zeke walked up to the desk and sat down. He looked around the office.
Zeke: A nice place you have here. The last time I visited, you were living in a rented apartment and now you are a rich man.
Marcus: That was many years ago. Now I don't think you came all the way from the other side to appreciate my efforts and progress. What do you want?
Zeke: Cranky as usual. Guess there will be no change to that aspect.
Marcus: That does not answer my question. What are you doing here?
Narration: Marcus balls his fist and Zeke notices that Marcus was tensing up.
Zeke: Calm down. I didn't come all the way here for a fight. If I wanted to die, I would have told a wolf to bite me back at the other side.
Marcus: So why are you here?
Zeke: There are rumors on the other side. News is flying around fast that you are trying to break a curse. I just wanted to come let you know.
Marcus: And find out if it is true. Let me guess you want to know which curse I want to break?
Zeke: So it wasn't just a rumor then?
Marcus: Depends on how you define rumors.
Zeke: Are you going to tell me what curse it is?
Marcus: I don't think you would want to be with me when you find that out.
Zeke: Marcus, I owe you my life. You saved me from death by turning me and saved me from the wolves on many occasions I will happily pledge my loyalty to any of your causes.
Marcus: I can't tell you even if I wanted to…at least not here; the walls have ears so go to my mansion. When I return home, I will fill you in.
Zeke: If you say so. But I think I will hang around for a moment I think I will like it here.
Narration: Marcus turns and gives him a threatening look making Zeke feel uneasy.
Zeke: On second thought, I think I will be off. See you at home and try to bring dinner as you return.
Marcus: I suggest you go on your own hunt tonight. I will be home real late.
Zeke: It is never late for us but yeah, I guess my body could use the exercise.
Narration: Zeke walks out of the office. Marcus looks around and then raises his watch to his eyes then he reaches for his telephone.
Marcus: Mercy, come into my office now.
Narration: The door flings open and Mercy walks into the office.
Marcus: What are you doing at the office by this hour?
Mercy: The last time I left before you, you told me that I am meant to stay in the office till you leave.
Marcus: Did I? my bad. Next time, you close the same time every other person does, okay?
Mercy: Yes, sir.
Marcus: You can leave now.
Narration: Mercy left the office and Marcus stood up. He grabbed his keys on the table then grabbed his suit jacket as he walked out of his office. Mercy was packing her things when he came out.
Mercy: Good night sir.
Marcus: Right back at ya, Mercy.
Narration: He walked into a private elevator and clicked the button that led to his personal garage.
Narration: The elevator door opened and he walked out heading straight for his Porsche. He climbed into the car and drove out of the building into the night road.
Narration: The Porsche drove into a garage and Marcus climbed out of the car and tossed his keys to a valet as he walked into the building. It was one of the most expensive bars in New York. he heads straight to an empty couch and seats down. Immediately his ass touched the couch, a waiter runs up to him.
Waiter: How may I be of service?
Marcus: Get me a bloody Mary. And I mean bloody.
Narration: The waiter smiles and nods then he walks away. Two men dressed in black suit come to stand behind Marcus's couch like bodyguards.
Narration: The waiter returns with the drink and gives it to him then walks away. Marcus grabs his drink and takes a sip while looking around. He notices a familiar figure and motions a guard.
Marcus: That lady over there, in the skin tight black gown… get her to me.
Narration: The guard walks off towards where Marcus had pointed him. Sylvia is dancing when suddenly a man in black walks up to her and taps her.
Bodyguard: Excuse but a man over there wants to see you.
Sylvia: Tell him that I am not interested.
Bodyguard: I wasn't asked to tell you to come, I was asked to take you to him.
Narration: The guard grabs Sylvia's wrist and begins to lead her towards Marcus' couch. She wrings her hand out of his grip and slaps him then she walked towards the couch faking a smile which morphed into a frown once she saw Marcus.
Sylvia: Why am I not surprised?
Marcus: Wow, Sylvia. I am surprised to see you here. What are you doing here?
Sylvia: I should be asking you the same. If I was ignorant I would have assumed that you were following me.
Marcus: No, I don't do stalking. Let's call this a lucky coincidence. We meet at the same place coincidentally.
Sylvia: Yeah for the second time. It's just a coincidence.
Marcus: Have a seat. What are you doing here in the first place? I didn't see you as the party type.
Narration: Sylvia seats down beside him while looking at him like he was a long enemy come to ask for forgiveness.
Sylvia: I am not. My friends brought me here to celebrate my employment and I didn't have a choice. What are you drinking?
Marcus: No, don't.
Sylvia: Why? It's just gonna be a sip, isn't it?
Narration: Sylvia reaches out for the glass of 'bloody Mary' on the table and grabs it. She raises it to her lips and inhales it the she dropped it back on the table looking at Marcus like she was going to puke on him.
Sylvia: what is heaven's name is that? Blood?
Marcus: No, it just smells like blood. Kind of enjoy it that way. Brings out the name 'bloody Mary'
Sylvia: You are one hell of a man; you know that?
Marcus: Really, nice to know that you have been observing me.
Sylvia: You are way over your head.
Narration: Sylvia looks at her watch and gasps.
Sylvia: It really wasn't nice meeting you especially after I was almost dragged like a slave. I would have loved to stay and say more despicable things about you but I will have to go.
Narration: Marcus smirks as Sylvia walks away towards her friends and they left the bar right after Sylvia had bought a bottle of whiskey. He looks around and notices two girls dressed in red looking at him. He does a finger motion at them and they hurry towards him like flies.
Marcus: Hello ladies.
Ladies: Hi, need some company?
Marcus: I will appreciate some thank you. Have a seat and gentlemen, please get these ladies what they want. May I have your names?
Ladies: Grace and Linda.
Marcus: Nice names. Grace, Linda, I need you people to do something for me.
Ladies: Anything honey.
Marcus: Good, I want you to feed me.
Narration: Marcus smiles and kisses Linda and trail his lips down her neck and she shivers in delight then he does the same to Grace. While kissing Linda on the neck, his canines elongate and after looking around, he sinks his fangs into her neck.
