Chapter 1 - The Magic Corps

When news of a school of magic was opened, many magicians were skeptical. Plenty of parents didn't like the idea of a magic school. Some believe that they are trying to control the new generation. But a band of magicians came together and formed The Magic Corps. This was an organization that maintained the way magic was used and controlled. They monitored every magician that was under the age of adulthood.

Many considered this organization a scam that was some setup. My parents were strict. They were the type to follow the order and sort out the chaos later down the line. No matter the situation, I had no say in whether I went to the magic school.

My mother thought of the school as a way to further develop how we learned magic. However, my father didn't think about it too much. He thinks that The Magic Corps formed so we can have a way of order in our daily lives. All the same, my parents were always optimistic.

The Magic Corps conveyed that they only meant to bring order and uniformity to the world of magic. The president of the organization is Iduna Feer.

At a press conference, he gave many points about why the organization was created. However, some more aggressive press members provoked and chastised him for creating such ignorant regulations.

One lady asked him how her daughter would practice magic outside of school. Mr. Feer argued that the safest place to learn was found at Vendetta's School Of Magic.

At the same press conference, there was an assassination attempt. A man named Casey Myor tried to murder him in front of thousands. But unfortunately, he was stopped and sent to prison. Numerous people had hoped that he would be successful. But unfortunately, not many people compromised with the order, resulting in chaos.

The organization worked like a chain of authority. At the very top was the president of the corps. Just below him were four individuals called the secretary. There were four of them, and they were in teams of two. Their job was to calculate the chaos and solve our problems. And below them is a complicated chain of resources that only existed, so power was distributed evenly.

My best friend has a dad who works in the organization as the people's voice. He thought of it as an excuse to get away from his mother. However, it wasn't my business. My parents live normal lives in the real world. They are magicians at heart but civilians at best.

They plan on joining The Magic Corps to find a better life for themselves.

I was only anxious about my imminent future at the magician school.
