The pink demon began to laugh as Sinoca started to walk forward.
"You? The human? That's who you sent to fight me?" The demon laughed. Sinoca had her blade drawn as she was ready for the fight to begin.
"Don't worry, I'll try to make this quick," Sinoca teased. The demon was a bit irritated hearing this. He charged at her immediately. Extending the blade in his forearms, it looked as if he was welding two axes. He started to try to slice her, but Sinoca blocked both strikes with her blade. She got inside and hit three spin kicks, immediately backing the demon up. The demon stopped his momentum, but immediately Sinoca followed him and was swinging her blade trying to slash the demon. The demon blocked three slashes, but was then tripped by a sweeping attack by Sinoca. She tried to stab him while he was on the ground, but the demon rolled out of the way. Sinoca jumped over his sweeping attack and did a cartwheel into a knee to the demon's face. Spinning around, Sinoca attempted to slice the demon, but the demon managed to block the slice. Upon impact, Sinoca switched directions and turned spun into a roundhouse kick. She was to fast for the demon to guard on time as he was sent sliding across the floor. Sinoca started to give chase, but then she was surprised as the demon's arm extended out towards her. She blocked the blade, but when she tried to cut the arm off, it dodged her attack and maneuvered so that the blade would once again come at her. Sinoca dodged by rolling out of the way, but the other arm was now coming at her. Sinoca jumped and kicked that arm out of the way, being careful not to hit the blade. Then she blocked the incoming attack from the original arm, and started to make a beeline for the demon. The demon pulled his arms back to him, attempting to slice Sinoca from behind, but she rolled to avoid them without breaking her stride. She got back in range as the two warriors had a good exchange. The demon blocked all of Sinoca's slashes, while Sinoca dodged both of his counter strikes. The demon attempted to kick Sinoca, but she lifted her leg to block before attempting a jumping kick. The kick was blocked, but Sinoca then spun into a stab from the other direction. The demon dodged, but Sinoca kept the momentum going, doing another full spin into a roundhouse kick to the head that flipped the demon to the ground. Sinoca tried to stab him again, but the demon rolled out of the way. Sinoca used her blade as leverage, pushing off of it and kicking the demon in the chest with both legs, sending the demon flying. Suchi was astonished to see Sinoca dominate the fight.
"You seem surprised," Inamaru teased. "Did you think all of her ambitions were just talk?"
"It's not that I didn't believe her," Suchi admitted. "I guess I just never believed in her. How is she this strong?"
"I don't know," Inamaru answered. "It's funny, much like you, I could've killed her when I first met her. She was dejected and heartbroken, she had just lost everyone she loved, and she didn't have any will to fight."
"She was a lot like me," Suchi said. "I was the same way when I lost my family."
"Luckily, there was something inside me that told me not to take her out. That she was supposed to be a part of my journey. I'm glad I listened," Inamaru said. "If I didn't, who knows where we would be at this point. I wouldn't be closer to achieving my goal, that's for sure."
"The DCU, they killed my brother," Suchi said. "I was the only survivor in my whole village, and that was only because I ran. I abandoned everyone I loved."
"That's tough man," Inamaru said. "You know, my big brother is one of the demons in the DCU. I know shocking. He betrayed my parents and turned them in. They were killed right in front of me. The only reason. I was spared was because I wasn't seen as a threat."
"I'm sorry to hear that," Suchi said.
"That's life man," Inamaru said. "After that happened, I was down for a while, it took a while for me to get back in the fight. Not quite as long as you, but much longer than Sinoca. I believe that she is going to be the one to bring the DCU down. I'm determined to help her any way I can, and she is convinced that you are supposed to be a big part of that journey. So, you have a choice, you can either continue to hide, or you can get up and rejoin the fight."
Back in the fight, Sinoca was still dominating. The demon tried to use his extended arms again to slow Sinoca down, but she had finally mastered the timing. So this time, she cut his arm off. The demon let out a scream of pain, but before he could open his eyes, he was hit with a flying kick to the face. As he slid across the floor on his back, the demon started to get irritated.
"How are you this strong?!?!" The demon yelled. "You are only a human, you shouldn't be able to compete with me!!" Sinoca simply leaned down next to the demon, and stabbed him in the head. She then got up and started to walk back to the others.
"Well, that was a lot of fun," she said, smiling.
"That was something alright," Suchi said as she watched Inamaru walk to Sinoca, giving her a high five.
"You never cease to amaze me, Sinoca," Inamaru said. "I feel like you are even stronger than you know."
"Well, I'm still improving as well. I'm just trying to make sure I'm ready when it's time to take the DCU down."
"So, you really think you can do it?" Suchi asked.
"Not a doubt in my mind," Sinoca said confidently. "We can still use your help. I feel like you would add a lot to the team. So, what do you say?" Sinoca extended her hand to Suchi. Suchi stared at it for a while, as if he was contemplating the decision. Finally, he smiled and shook her hand.
"Okay, I give up, you win," Suchi said. "I'm in."
