Chapter 1 - Prologue

Clouds covered the stars in the dark night. One by one, water droplets fell onto the ground until the water covered a footprint that had just been made by someone.

A tall person, wearing a black hooded robe and carrying a basket in his right hand, walked through the rain between towering trees. Along the muddy ground mixed with dry leaves from the rain. He didn't care about his dirty robes from sweeping the surface of the earth, until he stopped when several scary four-legged creatures blocked his path.

The person took off his hood to reveal a very handsome face with a charming crooked smile and sparkling emerald eyes as if emitting light. But unfortunately, that face looked very pale like a corpse.

"Where's your Alpha?"

The silver-haired creature growled so loudly, its two glowing yellow eyes and sharp fangs stuck out when their mouths opened, giving access for saliva to flow down, adding twofold to the very scary impression.

Everyone who saw it would know that it was a wolf, but wolves were very unusual, with their size being four times the size of a normal wolf. Of course. They are not real wolves, but fake ones.

Before long, another wolf came, the most striking of them all. They both have silver hair, but what makes them different is their blue eyes which look so charming. The wolf stepped closer to the cloaked man with a gaze that was no less scary.

"Your son, Mr. Redix," said the man in the robe.

The creature widened its eyes in surprise.

"I came here to return your son. I don't want my kingdom to be cursed because of halfbloods. He will bring disaster if he continues to roam my territory."

A few seconds after the man finished his sentence, the wolf suddenly transformed into a human figure. A tall figure who is as handsome as the man in the robe, untidy blonde hair, a face with a thin chin but still has a firm jaw, an athletic body with perfectly formed abs on his stomach. But sorry, there isn't a single piece of cloth on the body. He stood toe-to-toe with the cloaked man, emitting an intimidatingly sharp blue glare.

"My son? What do you mean?"

The robed man laughed then took a few steps to approach the figure in front of him. "You really are an Alpha bastard," he said with a crooked smile with a sarcastic impression that looked even more charming.

"Speak clearly, Asshole!" the werewolf snapped.

"Ah yes, you must have forgotten because you were drunk, so you didn't realize what you did to my sister that night."

The intimidating gaze from earlier suddenly disappeared. The hard expression also softened, replaced by a look of obvious anxiety.

"You unknowingly impregnated my people, and look... this is the result." The robed man handed over a basket which turned out to contain a very cute little baby in his sleep, not the least bit disturbed by the rain water falling on his adorable face.

"Oh, shit!" The wolf man rubbed his face, angrily wiping away the raindrops that fell on his face.

"Don't curse in front of a gift, this child is a gift from my sister who is so stupid to love a damn werewolf like you."

He placed the basket on the ground. Put on your hood again to prepare to leave that place. Without paying attention to the person he was talking to, who had been trying to hold back his anger because of what he said earlier.

"I don't know what you will do with this child. If he stays with me, then he will be a curse to my kingdom. So I will hand him over to you."

"Why don't you just kill him?"

"I may be a bloodthirsty devil, but I'm still more civilized than you. He's also my nephew, even though there shouldn't be mixed blood between a vampire and a werewolf. I don't want to kill him because he's the son of my beloved sister."

He looked at the figure of the tiny baby who was so peacefully sleeping in the basket. Feeling sorry for the baby? Of course. And this is all his fault. Because carelessness could have a bad impact on the entire nation.

"Then I'll go back. If you want to kill him, whatever."

For a moment, the man then disappeared very quickly, leaving him with the baby and also several of his followers who also transformed themselves into humans.

"You couldn't have brought him in the pack, right?" said one of his followers who had just turned himself into a human.

The wolf man lifted the basket to look more closely at the baby's face which turned out to be so similar to his own. Ah, how adorable. I wanted to finish off that tiny creature now but really didn't have the heart. After all, this baby is his flesh and blood.

"Is he really my son?" his monologue unconsciously revealed a smile. Still in denial.

"Alpha!" shouted one of his followers because the question had not been answered. "What would your people say if they found out that you had impregnated a vampire? You'd be better off killing this baby." The follower actually became emotional.

"Don't worry. I won't take him into the pack. But I don't want to kill him either, he's very cute." What kind of wolf is he to still have mercy? A calm smile appeared when he looked at the baby's innocent face.

"Then what will you do with this child?"

His gaze shifted forward to think for a moment. He took a small breath, let go of the worries that had hit him and then looked back at his son calmly.

"I'm sorry, Son," he whispered then kissed the baby's wet forehead briefly.

"Bring him to the human world." Then, he handed the basket to the follower.

"But why does it have to be in the human world? When he grows up he will definitely find his true identity and endanger humans themselves."

"Wolf will take over if he feels threatened. I know some families out there that are full of warmth, put him in front of his house, he will definitely live happily with love and without interference."

"Tch! impossible. It's like you don't know humans. Many humans can't be trusted, it would be better for you to put this child in Rogue's den, and let him be a wild dog."

"Trust me, he'll be a good boy."

His oceanic eyes returned to carefully observing the baby's appearance. For a moment, he stroked his chubby cheek until the baby squirmed and raised his hand. He accidentally saw something in the palm of that tiny hand. Brows furrowed, watching him.

"So you have this birthmark too?"

Without realizing it, a faint smile formed. Amidst the raindrops, the baby's peaceful face still captured his attention. After seeing a mark on the palm of his hand, for some reason his mind seemed to be shown by an image. Mysterious shadow.

"Oh, Moon Goddess... why do you have to involve this baby too?"
