The eclipse has begun. In the moon palace now there is no light at all except from candles which automatically turn on when it is dark. On the throne, a woman in a white dress sat reading an old book.
There were no friends, only silence and a violet crystal stone that she had placed in a glass case on the table. Usually she was a woman accompanied by one of the servants, but right now she just wanted to be alone.
She is Lucine, the ruler of the moonlight who shelters the creatures of the night. She was worshiped by the wolves and was always referred to as the goddess of the moon. Not the greatest among gods, but definitely the greatest among earth creatures. She's also immortal, cannot be killed or even harmed.
Regarding her character, Lucine is a very kind goddess, patient and forgiving. Her beautiful face truly proves the beauty in her soul. This personality made her appointed by the chief god to govern the uncivilized wolves.
But behind her good nature, Lucine also has firmness. If there was a tragedy that made her angry, then whoever was involved in it she would not forgive.
Now back to Lucine who is reading a book. She just waited for the eclipse to pass before returning to watching the wolves. Without light, monitoring the night world will not work optimally because there is dark energy which is very disturbing.
"Loyalty is happiness for true love and not sacrifice," she said, reading one of the quotes in the book.
A beautiful smile formed when her violet eyes read those words again. "True love," she repeated. Lucine suddenly remembered her unique story, so she looked at the row of words for a long time before returning to the next paragraph.
"A true partner will always see what you see. He will smile for you even if he has to bleed to keep you happy." attention immediately stopped on that paragraph. The smile faded and was replaced by sadness that filled her beautiful face.
No one knew what Lucine felt and thought. She is a goddess. Personal life is no more important than his current position as custodian of the night world.
"Goddess!" The silence was broken when someone came shouting at her.
Lucine closed the book then turned her attention to the person. "What is it?"
That man was one of her bodyguards. Sweat dripped down his face due to panic. "The wizard is coming—"
Lucine's reaction was not excessive. She only widened her eyelids when someone threw a sharp piece of metal at her bodyguard from behind. Once the man collapsed, only then could she see who had come to cause panic.
"Good night, Goddess." A wide, evil smile spread.
Not responding, not even standing up from the throne, Lucine seemed to already know what the magical woman's coming here meant.
"It seems my arrival was at the right time, seeing as you weren't doing anything." She stepped into the room, standing closer to the goddess.
"Severa the cursed child. What else do you want?" Sarcastic but said in a soft tone, that's how Lucine was, "didn't I tell you that I wouldn't give you petrablu?"
Thunderous laughter. The woman who was called the cursed child did not seem at all reluctant and even wanted to challenge the goddess.
"You definitely won't give it to me. That's why I will kill you tonight."
Very intriguing words. Lucine raised one corner of her lips, faintly. "Do you realize what you are saying?"
Of course very aware. Severa's tone was so confident as if she already possessed enormous power. The expression changed instantly. She slowly tightened her jaw while shooting a murderous gaze at Lucine. "You're a bitch! You don't deserve to be called a goddess!"
If there were guards or even werewolves, Severa would have been completely attacked. Lucine was offended, but she didn't get emotional. Her expression suddenly turned flat after he stood up from the throne.
"I really hate you and I hated you even more when you stole my lover," continued Severa in a lower voice.
Lover? Lucine was silent for a moment. Her gaze stared straight at Severa's black eyes while digging for something inside. "Oh, so that's how it is? It turns out you like him?" she said after finding something hidden in Severa's eyes.
Exasperated, Severa tightened her jaw. "You're the same. You're no better than any creature."
A soft sigh blew out. Lucine immediately took the violet crystal and gripped it tightly. "It's better to go home, Severa. You just need to change so that your existence can be more useful in this world."
"I won't change! I... will kill you and snatch Petrablu from you." Severa raised her hand in front of Lucine and then pointing at the goddess with her long nails.
"I am the strongest and deserve to be the queen of the night. You are just a cheap woman!" Both eyes widened as nails suddenly extended towards Lucine's neck.
Severa's black nails extended so quickly, if Lucine hadn't immediately brushed them off with light then the tips of the nails would have caused wounds. Actually, without moonlight, Lucine had difficulty exerting strength. However, currently she was holding a violet crystal that was always on, so her energy was helped a little.
"I can still be generous. Please go home. Don't endanger yourself here." Calm, but that doesn't mean Lucine isn't furious.
"Tch! Don't hold back. I don't need pity." Severa lowered her hand.
In contrast to Lucine who needs light to exert strength, Severa only needs darkness for her to become strong. All the candles in the room suddenly went out as Severa threw her hands into the air.
The situation was pitch black. Lucine was aided only by the violet crystal light that penetrated between her fingers and her meager night vision. However, that didn't bother her. Instead sha waited for what Severa would do.
"You won't be able to do anything in the dark," said the wizard while emitting black mist from all over her body. "Now I'm the queen!"
The mist gradually filled the room. It looks like just black mist, but it is a dangerous weapon that can damage the body. The proof is that the soldier who was lying there is slowly rotting and melting like wax.
The goddess didn't seem to do anything. As the mist began to envelop her, she simply closed her eyes while continuing to grip her violet crystal tightly.
Severa continued to release the mist. She laughed loudly, feeling like she had won seeing that Lucine didn't do anything. Slowly the room became very chaotic. All the knick-knacks such as statues and paintings were destroyed by the fog.
"Darkness will always rule the night, without allowing the slightest light to illuminate." Severa said and then filled the room with laughter again.
Please note that during a lunar eclipse, Severa's strength can increase many times over. Usually she only relies on long nails and deadly blows, due to the energy of the eclipse she has a destructive mist. It's no surprise that now she comes just when the moon is covered in shadow.
After a long while, the fog slowly disappeared. Everything was in ruins, even the walls looked cracked. It is certain that those who breathe will die. However, Severa is very arrogant who she was dealing with.
Hoping that Lucine would also be destroyed, but in fact the goddess still looked fine after the fog completely disappeared. The graceful face in front of her turned firm, different from before which still showed gentleness. Now Severa had invited the wrath of a goddess.
"I will not spare you, Severa," said Lucine quietly.
The wizard widened her eyes. Somewhere in her brain she couldn't think that goddesses couldn't be killed. Her jaw tightened and then released a thick mist again.
No longer silent, Lucine took her wand and then stomped the object on the ground twice. Friendliness disappeared, leaving behind anger that could no longer be contained. Her generosity was closed.
"God-blessed son of darkness, come!"
Right at the second stomp, the floor suddenly vibrated and formed a crack that extended all the way to Severa's front. As soon as the crack stopped, a strong hand with sharp nails emerged from beneath it. Severa reflexively took a step back.
The hand was big, almost able to hold a human head. The crack widened further because another hand appeared along with three large wolf heads which immediately shot sharp glares at Severa.
"Lysander?" Severa was shocked.
The creature was completely on the ground, revealing its extremely terrifying form. Standing like a human, tall, stocky body covered in black fur, canine teeth sticking up and down, and three pairs of bright red eyes.
Severa was silent. Her eyes were shaking, clearly frightened. But her face was trying to be calm.
"He's not Lysander. He's much better than Lysander. And this time I won't give you a second chance," said Lucine.
Very stubbornly, Severa pushed aside her fears. She raised her chin again and used all her strength to destroy the creature. Not only mist, but long sharp nails and other deadly magic. She was too confident, while the eclipse was still going on, she felt his strength would be extraordinary.
"I am not afraid!" Severa shouted.
The creature growled angrily as rays of magic from Severa shot at it like a cannon. No effect at all. The black feathers were like a shield for his body. He stepped closer to the witch while breaking the elongated nails that were trying to pierce him.
When the distance was close, the big wolf grabbed Severa's neck then lifted the woman to the level of his three heads. His eyes grew brighter, giving off an eerie aura that was more oppressive than darkness. Growling loudly again right in front of the witch's face before he finally threw the body against the wall.
The impact sound was very loud. If it happened to an ordinary human body, it would definitely be destroyed. Severa then sat down while enduring the pain. Unexpectedly, this creature could be much stronger and immune to magic. Can't let it go. For a moment she turned her attention to Lucine, more precisely to the violet crystal stone that was still shining in the goddess's hand.
"That thing ...."
Severa could feel intense magic on the crystal. There is great energy that can trigger the emergence of great power and immortality. Oh, of course! Because of that thing, this monster came.
Big footsteps brought her focus back. Severa immediately dodged when the wolf was about to hit her with a fist.
"I actually didn't know what this creature was from a long time ago. He's very strong. Without petrablu, I wouldn't be able to match him," she monologued. She then released a thick mist that quickly disappeared behind it.
Don't think that Lucine didn't know what Severa might do. The wizard will definitely come back with a plan. She shifted her attention to the violet crystal in her hand with a sad look that was very obvious this time. There was something behind the crystal that made her mind a little confused.
"You won't be safe with me," she muttered then closed her eyes for a moment.
After that she turned to the big wolf which seemed to be looking for the enemy. "She's run away. Come here."
The creature approached Lucine then knelt down.
"You'll meet her again someday and kill her." Her hand grabbed one of the wolf's heads and stroked its black fur. Simultaneously, the moonlight finally returned.
"Now go home. Enjoy your childhood and forget about tonight. Thank you for coming to my call." Her hand glowed so brightly that it enveloped the creature until it disappeared.
The room was bright again. It seemed that the surroundings were very chaotic due to the witch's actions. Lucine didn't mind that her palace was destroyed. Now what makes her quite anxious is another matter that concerns his personal soul.

In order to maintain the peace and balance of nature at night, Lucine never thought about her personal life. She's trusted so it is impossible for her to break that trust just for personal gain. The violet crystal she now held in her hand was an important object representing her feelings which she used as power. Call it theakori. She got this object from someone she didn't want to talk about anymore because she didn't want to get caught up in feelings.
"Are you sure you want to bring this baby to life using theakori, Goddess?" asked a loyal servant who had been accompanying her in a quiet room.
Lucine took a deep breath then nodded. In front of her now, on a stone altar, lay a lifeless newborn baby girl.
"What's so special about her? Is she also like Lysander Redix's son?" The waiter looked surprised.
"No. She was just an ordinary child whose parents threw her dead at night. I picked her up." Her hand touched the cold cheek of the baby's corpse while carving a soft but sad smile. "She's beautiful."
"Then what's the reason?" Again, the waiter asked.
"I wanted to play with Severa so I could kill her. That witch was always hiding in the dark. She wanted power but was too cowardly. I just wanted to lure her out of hiding." Lucine turned her attention to her servant and cast a shady but confident glare. "And this baby is my place to protect theakori."
The servant was stunned. Then Lucine thrust a book at her.
"I wrote it during 2 full moons. This is just an ordinary fairy tale, but it will help you to understand slowly."
The waiter accepted the object and read the title on the cover. "Tricolor Destiny?"
Lucine chuckled softly and turned her attention back to the baby's corpse. "I cheated a little by changing one of someone's destinies."
Hesitant to ask again, the waiter just nodded. She then watched Lucine who was now starting to do something to the baby's corpse. She cut open the chest right at the heart, then implanted the theakori into it.
Once finished, Lucine covered the scar using magic to make it look like it was before. She seems satisfied, as seen from her beautiful smile.
Moments later, the power of the crystal reacted. The baby's body, which was initially very pale, slowly turned red as if it had received a blood pump. Waiting again, her breath started to come out.
Lucine became even happier to see the baby. She grabbed the baby's small hand which immediately got a tight grip. Smiles widen, hearts cheer. The baby finally came to life and cried.
"Oh, Sweetheart." Like a mother who had just given birth, Lucine was so moved. She picked up the baby and cradled it.
"She was not born from my womb. But she is my daughter. She is... my blood. She is very precious," she said as she turned her body towards the maid.
"Wouldn't it be just as unsafe if you put theakori on an ordinary human child? Severa already knows about its energy and of course will hunt this child down. It's better if you just keep it in Laksoon. That place is much safer."
Lucine smiled meaningfully then shifted her attention to the maid who still looked worried.
"I have a plan. Don't worry. I've thought about many things, including the risks."
