20 years later, Finland.
Life goes on, it gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear, a waterfall
In the night, the stormy night
She closed her eyes
In the night, the stormy night
Away she flied
She dreamed of paradise...
Several chants of song lyrics vibrate the eardrums. Violet eyes looked at the natural appearance outside the car window. The orange tinge of the afternoon sky reflects on the clear water of the lake that passes. The rows of pine trees also attract attention which takes the mind away from the tiredness of the long journey. The land of Europe is truly beautiful, very pleasing to the eye.
"How do you think about my hometown?" The silence was then broken by the voice of the man who had been busy behind the wheel.
"Amazing place," replied the girl who had been busy enjoying the view.
"Oh yeah? Didn't you once say that there is no place greater than New York?"
A long breath. "Indeed. But I admit this country is beautiful."
The man smiled with satisfaction, then silence resumed. Both of them were busy with their own thoughts until finally their car arrived in front of a house. Not big, but looks nice and neat surrounded by pine trees. The yard looks spacious, it would be very exciting to play discus throwing there.
"Finally here," said the man as he unfastened the seat belt.
The two then got out and rushed to the trunk to take out some of their luggage.
"You'll feel at home here, Jeane. It might make you never want to come back to New York."
"You seem very confident about this place, Dad."
"Of course. I really like my hometown. Here you won't just lock yourself in your room."
The girl, Jeane Nuella, snorted cutely when she heard her father's words. For her, locking himself up in her room could do a lot more than interacting with troublesome people even though she stated that New York was an exciting city.
Jeane then thought about whether what her father said was true or not? New York which is full of excitement is no more interesting than the bedroom, let alone Finland which has always had more green views than tall buildings. She admits that this country is beautiful, but honestly, that beauty is only comfortable to enjoy from a distance.
They then dragged the suitcase to the terrace of the house. The man rang the bell, then the door was opened by a tall blonde young man.
"Wow, Dad!" shouted the young man, excited.
"How have you been living here for 2 years?"
The two men hugged each other to release the longing that seemed so shackled. Understandably, it's been 2 years since we only communicated via cell phone.
"As you can see, I'm fine. And what the hell," the young man broke his embrace with his father then turned to Jeane, "you really want to move here? I thought you couldn't live with your Cinderella bed."
"Shut up, Lucas. You better help me carry all my stuff." Jeane also misses Lucas. The young man looked taller and more mature than the last time she saw him.
"Tch."
The girl who had previously pretended to have a cold face, now suddenly laughed out loud seeing Lucas' crumpled face. She also squeezed her little brother's sharp nose hard because she was excited.
"I missed you so much, Lucy." Ah, I feel like hugging Lucas tightly. But that hasn't changed at all, the young man still doesn't really like excessive physical touch.
"Hey! Don't hurt my nose, it's an asset. And don't call me Lucy, that's not very cool." Lucas protested then took over the suitcase that was in his sister's hand.
Jeane laughed even more with satisfaction. After letting each other know briefly, the three of them entered the house. Jeane immediately set foot to look for the kitchen and finally met an old woman who was known to be her grandmother.
"Grandma!"
"Welcome home, Sweetie. You're finally here." The old woman stopped her kitchen activities before approaching Jeane. "How was your trip?"
"Very tiring."
"Then where is your father?"
"In the living room, still with Lucas."
The old woman hugged Jeane for a moment then kissed her forehead before turning to a dish. "Look, I just made Laskiaispula. Try it, you'll like it."
"Wow, that must be really delicious."
What a coincidence, since earlier Jeane's stomach had been very hungry and asked to be filled with delicious food made by her grandmother. Her eyes seemed to sparkle when she saw a plate of snacks that looked delicious.
"I'll meet your father first. I've prepared a room on the second floor, rest there."
"Yes, thank you, Grandma."
Jeane was tired from the long journey, the girl rushed to get some snacks that her grandmother had made and then walked off to the room that had been prepared. It doesn't matter what the luggage is, let Lucas take care of it.
Jeane opened the bedroom door, put her snack on the nightstand and then stepped closer to the window. Hands opened the window wide and suddenly a quite beautiful natural panorama greeted the view, making the violet widen slightly.
"Wow, that's beautiful," she said in amazement. Apart from the rows of pine trees, it turns out there is also a lake near her grandmother's house.
The girl was really amazed by the view here. New York is too full of tall buildings and towers so it's rare to find green views like this. She was also too lazy to just visit the park so most of the day was spent on the bed and books. Her introverted soul is difficult to get rid of even if there is something exciting.
But now that Jeane saw the situation here, maybe she would confirm her father's words if she didn't want to return to New York. Going to Finland only intended to continue her education, because this country is known to have the best education system in the world and is also the country where her father was born. Building a life here seems quite interesting.
Jeane turned around to take her snack earlier. Sitting in front of the window while enjoying typical snacks from this country seems to be enough to make her rest from feeling tired. However, before she took the plate, for some reason her attention was accidentally attracted to an old wooden cupboard which was actually not attractive at all.
Footsteps approached the old cupboard and examined it. Doesn't grandma intend to update the old furniture so there are still old things here? she thought in surprise. She then opened the cupboard door and there was nothing significant. There is only dust and a book.
"I thought there would be antique objects I could play with," she monologued as she took the book.
Even though it was just a book, Jeane still couldn't calm her curious soul. You could say she's a nerd. Like everything except math books, sorry.
Her forehead suddenly furrowed in confusion when she saw the cover of the book which was so strange to her eyes. The cover was made of animal skin with strange symbols engraved on the front.
"Hm, Tricolor Destiny. Is this a fairy tale book?" Then she opened the object and was shocked by three symbols.
Jeane didn't know how to explain it in words, what was clear was that if the three symbols were put together they would form the shape of a dog's head with a crescent moon on its forehead. Ah, is it really a dog? Jeane didn't know for sure.
A few minutes of thinking until Jeane realized something odd. "Wait ...."
She turned to her own right wrist which also showed one of the same symbols, namely a crescent moon. Not a tattoo, but a birthmark that is strangely shaped like the moon. Her father said it.
There should be nothing to be surprised about, because the crescent shape can be anywhere. However, what confused Jeane was that the crescent moon in her hand and the one in this book were very similar. There were lines running vertically, like a long spear piercing the moon.
Is this a coincidence?
"Jeane!" Suddenly Lucas screamed.
"Your things are so heavy, did you bring stones here?!" The young man grumbled when he found his sister just sitting around in the room.
Jeane looked at Lucas with a confused look without paying attention to her younger brother's horrified face. To be precise, she is still confused about the existence of her birthmark in an old book.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lucas frowned without softening his sharp gaze.
"You know this book?"
The young man entered the room after previously just standing in the doorway. He took the book from Jeane's hand and opened it too. OK, he's curious too.
"Rapunzel's fairy tale? Looks interesting, can I borrow it?" he said.
"This isn't Rapunzel's fairy tale, you idiot. Give it back here!" Jeane again took the book from her younger brother's hand. It seems Lucas doesn't know anything about the book.
"There is a picture of a beautiful woman with long hair, isn't that Rapunzel?"
"Rapunzel doesn't ride a wolf, Lucy. Have you never watched Tangled?"
"No. I don't like cartoons."
She took a deep breath as she rolled her eyes. It's really annoying to talk to a boy whose only hobby is studying. "Okay, go. Thank you for your help."
"Hey, don't just thank me. You have to treat me tomorrow."
"Hm. There, go. I want to rest."
"Okay, Ugly Princess," Lucas sneered then closed the door and left.
OK, forget it. Jeane continued to open the old book page by page. There are strange pictures and writing that are confusing. She was too lazy to read. Then she returned the object to its original place, even though her heart was still very curious about the symbols.

Nighttime is a calming darkness for wolves. The always foggy atmosphere is not a cold blanket for their skin, but rather a protection from danger. In a place very far from human touch, called the Silver Guard Pack or Silver Guard Colony, there live many large wolves disguised as charming humans.
The environment is like a simple residential area. Residents' houses are made of stacked stone, have thatched roofs and all have chimneys. The people don't seem to wear flashy clothes because they often move at night, both men and women. Their daily lives are like ordinary people in the human world.
The pack is led by someone who lives in a large castle. He is not just considered the strongest, but is indeed the strongest of the other wolves. His job is to protect the entire population he leads.
Right now, in the large building, he was standing on the balcony with his face looking up, staring at the misty night in silence for a long time.
He was a man with dark hair, white skin and beautiful blue beads like the ocean. He is handsome with his cold face and charming with his gaze. Such a perfect figure. Any eye would definitely be amazed if they saw his figure.
However, behind the perfect appearance, there is a gaze that contains a lot of sadness. The sharpness of his eyes hides various wounds, making him look like a cruel person full of hatred.
"Where is she?" Those thin lips finally muttered to break the silence.
From a visual perspective, there is nothing different from other residents. They are all equally charming. However, what is different is the aura of existence. His strength and courage are at the highest level, making everyone in the pack submit to his orders.
People call him Alpha. Alpha Damian Redix.
"Hey, Alpha." Suddenly someone came. Damian remained unmoved, not the least bit interrupted.
"You forgot your assignment tonight? Is your mindlink no longer functioning? Are you deaf now?" said the person.
No one knows what happened to Damian. Always thinking about the loneliness he felt made him not focus on work. The mind wanders far away as if it is looking for a shadow that has been its destiny all this time.
"Damian Redix!"
"Shut up!" Damian snapped, furious. His attention shifted to that person. His eyes flashed sharply, conveying anger because his quiet time had been disturbed. "Don't bother me. I'm tired."
"Are you tired? How many girls have you slept with?" The person approached Damian and stood next to him. "The older you get, the crazier your passion becomes. Just be careful until your identity is discovered by humans."
Damian was not interested in fighting with his younger brother, Daniel Redix. He turned away with a snort. "Don't talk too much. I'm also looking for that girl."
"Your Luna again?"
A heavy breath blew out. "Hm. The girl with the crystal heart. Tch, that's ridiculous. How am I supposed to find her if I can't even smell it?"
Complaints that are always suppressed make Damian a predatory man who is popular with girls at night in entertainment venues. Often nicknamed the deadly blue-eyed son of the night, but actually Damian is just a creature looking for a soul mate.
"It looks like she's not an ordinary girl. Maybe you just need to wait for fate to bring you together if your efforts are in vain," said Daniel.
Destiny? Frankly, Damian hated all of his own destiny since childhood. The only part of his life he was still looking for was Luna and he didn't want to leave that precious thing to an annoying fate.
"But you still have to do your best. Don't be busy looking for pleasure from entertainment venues. You are Alpha. Your mother gave birth to you with a smart brain like humans. Think clearly and try to look for other clues. Don't be a crazy dog," continued the younger brother.
Damian was not interested in listening to Daniel's advice. He chose to focus his attention on the night sky which began to appear after the fog cleared a little. "It's better to keep your mouth shut than to bring up mother."
"Ah, never mind. As you wish." Daniel walked away leaving Damian, who was too stubborn to give advice.
There really isn't a phrase that works. Damian felt that the light of the goddess had left his life a long time ago, leaving behind a thick darkness. Nothing can provide that light again other than the special destiny of the goddess herself.
Yes, his special Luna.
