Arthur, who was gathered in the middle of the forest where the werewolves were gathering when the full moon arrived, now howled long after everyone had fallen silent because a flash of lightning-like lightning struck.
Arthur then left the gathering area to search for the source of the light, followed by some of his subordinate wolves. Arthur fell silent on the bank of the river that led to the direction where his house was located. A high wall separated the river from his house.
Arthur transformed himself into a human. He was silent as he stared at the building. "Is this the light from Shane?" he asked himself.
Only he could transform into a human, while his subordinates were still wolves. They could turn into humans if their bodies were not exposed to the light of the full moon. If they were under the light of the full moon, they would naturally remain wolves like this. He looked at Frederick, who stood to his right, their eyes locked together so that only they could communicate.
"Go back to the gathering place and say that there is nothing to worry about. Tell them I'm going back home to tell my sister because they will definitely feel what just happened," Arthur said.
Frederik nodded his head in understanding. He howled, which meant to leave the place and leave Arthur alone. Frederik and the others bowed their heads before they left Arthur. After his men left, he turned back into a wolf and ran to Shane's room.
Arthur had been standing in front of Shane's door for quite some time, fearing the truth that he would encounter later. However, Arthur finally opened the door to Shane's room. Arthur rounded his eyes to see all the stuff so messy in Shane's room. He immediately darted towards Shane, who was still unconscious. "Mine," Arthur called as he put Shane's head in his lap.
Arthur immediately lifted Shane's body, and he carried Shane's body to his room. Shane's room was a mess, so it was impossible for Shane to keep sleeping in his room. Arthur patted Shane's cheek lightly, but Shane still didn't look like he was going to wake up. He wanted to call Matheo, but he couldn't at the moment. It was a full moon night, Matheo wouldn't want to leave the house.
Arthur ended up just sitting next to Shane as he held one of Shane's hands. Shane's face looked pale, but Shane's body temperature was quite high, that's how he feels right now. Arthur kept his eyes open without closing them, just to make sure that Shane wouldn't be hurt.
At five o'clock in the morning, Arthur felt his hand being held tightly by Shane. Shane's forehead was deeply furrowed, sweat already beading on his face. "Mine, wake up," Arthur called as he grasped Shane's hand back. Arthur's face looks very worried, but he can't do anything. Even just to see what was on Shane's mind, Arthur couldn't do it.
He wanted to take away the pain in Shane's dream, but he couldn't take it away at all. His power could not penetrate Shane's body at all. Shane opened his eyes, his breathing so ragged that he was finally able to normalize his breathing.
"What hurts? Tell me, I can't feel what you feel," Arthur asked, looking worriedly at Shane.
Shane was silent for a moment, seeing the worried look on Arthur's face. "What happened?" asked Shane, because the last thing he remembered was that his ears hurt so much that he couldn't help it, and after that, he didn't know what happened to him.
He woke up with Arthur next to him. He now looked around and realized this was not his room. "Don't you remember what happened to you?" asked Arthur, making Shane look back at Arthur.
"No, all I remember is that my ears hurt because the wolf howl last night was so loud and so close to my ears that it made my ears hurt," Shane replied.
"After that, you really don't remember what happened?" asked Arthur, whose face was now serious.
"No," Shane replied briefly. "Why am I here? And whose room is this?" asked Shane because he had no idea where he was.
The room was so dark, and the style of this room was almost the same as the room in Arthur's office.
"This is my room, I brought you in last night because you fainted," Arthur replied.
Shane's forehead wrinkled as he looked at Arthur. "Are you kidding me?" asked Shane, because there was no way he would just pass out because his ears hurt.
"You did pass out last night, that's why I brought you here," Arthur replied.
"Why not in my room? Why did you have to go to yours?" asked Shane as he looked at Arthur.
"Your room is a mess, and the window is broken. How could I let you sleep in a room that is messy and has broken glass?" asked Arhur, looking gently at Shane.
Shane frowned, "why is that?" asked Shane in surprise.
"I don't know what happened. But, when I went into your room, everything was in chaos, and you fainted," Arthur replied.
Shane tried to remember what happened, but he didn't remember anything at all. He only remembered his ears hurting after that, he didn't remember anything at all. There really wasn't anything after the pain in his ears from the wolf howl last night.
"Before you woke up, you looked like you were in pain. What were you dreaming about?" asked Arthur, making Shane refocus on Arthur.
"What do you mean?" asked Shane in surprise.
"Before you woke up, you gripped my hand so tightly. Your forehead was wrinkled, and your face was wet with sweat. What did you dream of?" asked Arthur, who was now holding Shane's hand again.
"Nothing," Shane replied briefly.
"Don't lie, I know you dreamed of something. Tell me what you dreamed!" Arthur said it in a demanding tone so that Shane could tell his dream. It could be from the dream that he knew what happened to Shane before he found him unconscious.
"Just a dream," Shane replied.
"What kind of dream? Just tell me, who knows, with that dream we can find out what you fainted from," Arthur said.
Shane frowned at Arthur's words. How could a dream make us understand why he fainted?
"In the dream, I was wearing a yellow dress that was only knee-length. In front of me were many people lying with blood everywhere, like there had been a big massacre. Suddenly, there was a wolf howl, and I quickly got out of there. I kept running even though there was nothing behind me chasing me. I wanted to stop, but something forced me to keep running. Until I met the red-eyed wolf, the wolf I met the first time I was here," Shane replied, leaving Arthur speechless with rounded eyes.
"That's impossible, isn't it?" asked Arthur silently.
