Chapter 25 - About Elia

"Fred, say something," Luca said.

"I'll look outside, in case I can find Mr. Shane," Frederick said, and he quickly darted out the gate.

"Are we just going to do nothing? We have to look for him too," said Elia.

"Fred will handle it, we'll just wait at home," said Luca.

"Luca, does this have anything to do with the damage to Mr. Shane's room?" asked Elia.

"Why would you think that?" asked Luca in surprise.

"I went into town to buy some clothes. Everyone at the market was talking about the lightning that occurred during the full moon two days ago. I immediately thought of the mess in Mr. Shane's room," Elia replied.

"But Mr. Arthur said he didn't, that he couldn't control himself, so he made a mess of Mr. Shane's room," Luca replied.

"True, but I feel that the flash had something to do with the destruction of Mr. Shane's room," Elia replied.

"Never mind," Luca replied.

"Luca, do you know anything about pure humans?" asked Elia.

"No idea, but the story I heard is that a pure human is the offspring of a werewolf and a human. The child is born with human genes without any werewolf genes. His birth is accompanied by storms, lightning, and very loud thunder. The baby's cry will be heard throughout the country, which only our people can hear, ordinary humans cannot hear it at all. In addition, the baby has pure magical power, which, if the baby honed, would not be defeated by anyone," Luca replied.

"Are there any pure humans in this day and age?" asked Elia.

Luca shook his head and said, "As long as I've been alive, there has never been a pure human birth. But I don't know if there were pure humans before or not. But, if you put it that way, there must have been pure humans before I was born," Luca replied.

Elia nodded her head in understanding. Since she'd been here, she'd never known any of the pure humans Luca had mentioned earlier. Elia wasn't a werewolf, she was an ordinary human, but she drank Arthur's blood when she almost died from being raped and beaten by thugs.

At that time, Arthur was passing near her, being raped and beaten. At that time, Arthur made everyone almost die if there was no Frederick who stopped Arthur's action. Arthur immediately cut his hand and asked herself to drink the blood. Although initially hesitant, she drank the blood from Arthur's hand because, at that time, she might die soon. The next morning, when she realized that his body had improved, she was very surprised. Not only was she surprised that his body was fine, but she woke up in a place that was unfamiliar to her.

Since then, she has lived in this house, she has become a human who has eternal life, and she also has magic power, although her magic power is not as great as that of Luca and some werewolves here. She was once invited to work at Arthur's company, but she chose to be a servant instead. The rape and her near-death experience made her afraid to have contact with other people out there.

Working with Arthur made her very happy. She also didn't have to think about money to fulfill her life. She could live this long, and her face had not changed at all since she drank Arthur's blood. His face stopped at the age of 25.

In the 130 years she worked with Arthur, she never once received different treatment from other workers. If she was wrong, then she would be punished just like the maids and other workers. She became a butler to replace the previous butler, who was a human but had died of old age. His work was good, so she was chosen to be the butler.

Shane's presence really brought a new aura to this house, which had always been lonely and cold. His master became a romantic man, and the house became so warm. That's why she was afraid that if Arthur came, she would not see Shane in the house, and she was also afraid that she would be punished because she was the last person with Shane.

Elia waited anxiously for Frederick and Luca to come home. She walked back and forth because she was too anxious to wait for news. "Elia, where is Shane?" asked someone whose voice alone could scare Elia.

"Sir," said a surprised Elia as she looked at Shane, who had returned.

"Answer my question, Where is Shane? Why can't I find him, and I can't even smell his body?" said Arthur, demanding Elia's answer.

"Sir, forgive me," said Elia, who immediately bowed down.

Arthur frowned at Elijah's actions. "Why are you apologizing?" Arthur asked.

"Mr. Shane isn't home, he left, sir," said Elia, still prostrate.

"What did you say? Shane left?" asked Arthur in surprise.

"Yes, sir," Elia replied briefly.

"How did he leave? There's no way he can get out of here if no one helps," asked Arthur, who already sounded angry.

"We don't know, sir, how Mr. Shane got out of here. We've searched the whole house, but we haven't found Mr. Shane at all. Fred and Luca are also looking for Mr. Shane," Elia replied.

"Why didn't anyone tell me about this? Did you ignore my message to look after Shane?" asked Arthur angrily.

"Sorry, sir," said Elia, who could only apologize.

Arthur immediately darted away from there. He had to find Shane, but would Shane be okay if he left the gate? He could have been killed by the wolves out there. Shane searched the entire forest, trying to smell Shane's body, but he couldn't smell Shane's body at all. Even at the place where people who usually entered the forest would fall from the high cliff, he searched all the way to the bottom of the ravine. However, he found nothing at all. There was not a single trace of the person who fell into this ravine.

"Aargh!" shouted Arthur as he unleashed his energy with enough force to hit the nearby trees and make them fall down.

His magic became more and more uncontrollable, creating a high whirlwind circle, and the sky turned dark with the violent flashes. The people in the town near the forest where Arthur lived were amazed because the sky in the forest was very dark and the lightning was quite large. They also saw the wind swirling in the huge flashes. So far, the dangerous forest had never experienced such a phenomenon, and this was the first time they had seen such a phenomenon.
