Chapter 20 - Part 19. Finding Out What Happened

"So, you know why I fainted?" asked Shane.

"No," Arthur replied briefly.

Shane rolled his eyeballs lazily, and then he pulled the covers off and got out of bed.

"Where are you going?" asked Arthur, who also got out of bed.

"To my room to clean up," Shane replied lazily.

Arthur said, "You can shower here because your room isn't clean yet."

"My clothes are in the room," Shane said.

"You can wear my clothes," Arthur said.

"I'll stay in my room," Shane said, walking away.

Arthur followed Shane from behind, making Shane uncomfortable. He stopped his steps and turned around. "Why are you following me?" asked Shane, with an annoyed look at Arthur.

"Do you know the way to your room?" Arthur asked, making Shane pause.

Arthur smiled, then he approached Shane and carried Shane in a Brydal style. "What are you doing?" asked Shane as he moved his head away to look at Arthur.

"Taking you to my room," Arthur replied, and he quickly darted to Shane's room.

Arriving in front of Shane's room, Arthur lowered Shane's body. Shane stayed where he was because the maids at Arthur's house were cleaning his room. Shane walked into his room with a speechless expression on his face. He didn't expect to see the mess in his room.

"What happened last night?" he asked himself as his eyes continued to look around his messy room. Even the walls were cracked.

Shane tried to remember what happened last night, his memory was really only there until his ears hurt. His dream memories were even stronger. He rounded his eyes when he remembered who the owner of the red eyes was. Shane immediately looked at Arthur, who was at the door.

"No way, no way, it's Arthur. But..." Shane said to himself.

He looked at Arthur, who was now also looking at him. "Who is that person? Who is the person who met Arthur? If it's me, it's impossible. I never wore a dress, and I don't remember meeting Arthur either," Shane said silently.

"What's wrong?" asked Arthur, who was now standing next to Shane.

Shane turned his head with a look and still did not believe what was in his dream if he had met Arthur, and Arthur was a werewolf. Shane was not afraid when he learned that Arthur was a werewolf, but he was still wondering, who was the woman who met Arthur at that time? Why did it have to be her?

Different from Shane's gaze, Arthur's gaze was different when he saw Shane's face like this. His memory was brought back a few years ago. The memory of the woman he loved died in his arms, and before she closed her eyes, she said, "Eat or drink my blood, I want to be with you for eternity," said the woman, looking at Arthur with a pleading look.

After saying that, the woman smiled and closed her eyes. The woman's request was granted by Arthur. He turned himself into a wolf and ate her body. He couldn't bear it, but he wanted to fulfill her request. It was all he could do at that moment. He only wanted to fulfill his lover's request because the other requests were impossible for him to fulfill.

For one week after the departure of his beloved Arthur, he was alone. He went into the forest and contemplated his fate, knowing that his beloved could not leave him. He didn't eat anything for that week until he felt the presence of his beloved rubbing his head. He opened his eyes and saw his beautiful girlfriend wearing a yellow dress—her favorite color.

Arthur woke up from his reverie when his body felt like it was being pulled by someone. Arthur looked at Shane, who gave him an annoyed look. "Get out, I need to clean up," Arthur snapped.

"Let's take a shower together," said Arthur, whose tone of voice became spoiled as he hugged Shane's waist.

"Get out of the way!" shooed Shane as he pushed Arthur's shoulder.

Arthur smiled, he lifted Shane's body by hugging Shane's waist, and then quickly they were in the bathroom.

"I want my own shower!" shrieked Shane in annoyance as he looked at Arthur, who only smiled.

"Taking a shower together is more fun, mine," said Arthur, who hugged Shane's waist with one arm and pressed Shane's body against the bathroom wall.

"Asshole! Watch out!" shooed Shane as he pushed Arthur's body away. Even though he knew it was useless to push Arthur's body, Shane still tried to push Arthur's body.

Arthur only smiled before he connected his lips with Shane's. Shane, however, continues to resist but eventually loses the battle and sighs under the confines of Arthur's body.

Arthur carried Shane's unconscious body to his room, where he bathed and dressed Shane. After that, he covered Shane's body up to the chest. Arthur smiled at the sleeping Shane.

He telepathically called Frederik to go meet him in the workspace. After that, he immediately darted to his workspace. He arrived at the workspace first, and it wasn't long before Frederick entered.

"What did you call me for?" asked Frederick when he was standing not far from Arthur.

"Who did you know about the mess?" asked Arthur as he looked at Frederick, who was also looking at him. Arthur put his hands in his pants pockets.

"Mr. Shane," Frederick replied.

"Did you feel Shane's power?" asked Arthur.

"Not at all, sir, but with me not being able to penetrate Mr. Shane, I believe there is a force protecting Mr. Shane, or even Mr. Shane has that force himself, so I can't penetrate him," Frederick replied.

"When did you learn this?" asked Arthur, looking at Frederick seriously.

"When you first invited Mr. Shane, I stopped time, and you would have known. However, Mr. Shane was not affected by my stopping time," Frederick replied.

"It turns out I was wrong all along. I thought Shane was a pure person. One who never thinks about anything. When he wanted something, he would say it. But it turns out, he has powers that Shane might not realize," Arthur said.

"Did you find out about Shane's family like Albert asked?" Arthur asked.

"His father was an orphan, and there are no other clues about his family. I have searched the orphanage, and they have no specific clues either," Frederick replied.

"Did you ask for her father's data and the things he used?"

"I asked for them, but since it's been a long time, the items are no longer available. However, Shane's father's data was still there when he was found," Frederick replied.

"Did you give it to Albert?" asked Arthur.

"I have, sir," Frederick replied.

"Has he told you what he found?" asked Arthur seriously.

"Not yet, sir," replied Frederick.

"Get everything ready and call them, and I'll go there. You stay here and look after Shane, call me if anything happens to him!" ordered Arthur.

"Yes, sir," Frederick said, and then excused himself to go and prepare everything Arthur needed to meet his sister.
