A pair of purplish silver eyes stared out the porthole. They had just left the blood-red sky of planet Vaxer into space.
'Tell me, Rohan. Can a good person get what he wants? It's not about good or evil, but rather who is willing to fight for what he wants. Being evil doesn't guarantee you get what you truly want. But your problem now is; do you know what your real core desire is?'
Rohan blinked and let out a long sigh. It had been so many years, yet the memory was still very fresh in his head.
He did not know why this small piece of his life's memory could have such a big influence on him until this moment.
He was just a child then. He was still too innocent to sort out what he should and shouldn't listen to. But why.. Why at this age, his heart was still screaming that he should listen to it?
Suddenly, Rohan's eyes narrowed. He noticed an object moving very fast toward their ship with a trail of blue light.
He chuckled. "Well.. I knew one of them would come at least. It looks like this trip won't be that boring. I got an old toy in my pocket."
Only a few seconds after that, the ship shook and there was a loud crashing sound which indicated that it had been hit by something.
"Rohan!"
The call made Rohan look back to find a female Gine with a look of panic on her face. She was Bilea Bardahon, the eldest daughter of Doma Bardahon.
"There's no need to panic." Rohan raised his palm curtly in front of his chest. Why overreact just because of a superhero?
This made Rohan more confused about why his mother thought that Bardahon was a strong clan. He even knew that she had discussed with Doma about his match with the girl named Bilea.
Yes, although Doma often swallowed Rohan's rudeness, he honestly wished the guy to be a part of his family tree. Of course having Rohan, who was so reliable, would be an advantage for his clan. The two great clans: Bardahon and Egoxar would also forge a true kinship.
Unfortunately, Rohan could only laugh at the plans of those selfish parents. Gine women were not to his taste. He only liked humans.
"That is Rocketman, Rohan. He can destroy this ship!" The girl pointed in the direction where the Rocketman hit them, which was in the middle side of the hull.
Both eyebrows rose lazily, Rohan stepped past her. "I know. That's why I told you not to panic."
"Please be hurry a little," Bilea said.
Rohan reached the scene only to find a big mess going on. The conditions there were chaotic and there was great damage.
The guards seemed to be fighting a masked man in a bright yellow costume and – of course – a cloak. So traditional, isn't it?
That man was Rocketman: A superhero from the planet Lucia, the closest planet to Ogx. Like other superheroes, he hatred Rohan Egoxar who once came to his planet and caused enough destruction just for fun when he was just seventeen years old.
"You! I knew you must be here!" Rocketman pointed at Rohan who just arrived there.
"I am," Rohan replied flatly. "By the way, what's your business coming here?"
"Don't act fool, Egoxar! I know you know the reason I attacked you. So you villains are going to mine gold on planet Ogx, huh? You must have permission from the nearest planet that has a large population like Lucia!"
"Why should we do that? Are you guys the owners of this solar system or something?" Rohan frowned.
Rohan didn't know how the yellow freak got the information regarding their mission. After all, why would he care? Rocketman was just a weak superhero to him.
"Of course they are not, Rohan." A voice came, followed by a light tap on one of Rohan's shoulders.
He turned to find Jenzigh and Doma beside him. They came with a relaxed attitude that irritated Rocketman's feelings even more.
"If you create havoc on planet Ogx, its creatures will feel threatened and choose to migrate to the planet closest to their nest. And that will be the planet Lucia!" Rocketman exclaimed.
"Darn it. Do you have to keep screaming?" Rohan murmured as plugged his ear with a finger. "I didn't know Ogxig could fly?"
"Some can do it. You'd better cancel this stupid mission." Rocketman hissed.
"That doesn't need to be done," Rohan replied lightly. "I heard that your primitive planetary people are developing a new defence system. You can take the Ogxigs' arrival as a trial opportunity. You will thank us later. Trust me." He smiled condescendingly.
"SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!" Rocketman exclaimed as pointed his hand palm at Rohan.
A blue light emerged from the man's palm, and shot toward Rohan at rocket speed.
That blinding blue light illuminated Rohan's face. The blue blaze shoot almost touched his face and body. However, he instead smiled as if he was posing at the flash from the camera that was taking pictures of his nice-looking face.
Just before the blaze touched him, waves of iron sand came from all directions, and formed a huge shield in front of him. The blue blaze ended up crashing into the thick, strong iron shield.
Rocketman gritted his teeth. His two eyes stare intently at Rohan who was stepping away from the damn shield he just made. The villainous bastard gave him a mocking smile.
"Going against us will only bring you loss, Mr. Rocketman. Your strength is incomparable to ours. Your planet only has two superheroes, and that's too little to beat us. I suggest you go home and enjoy your free time before the chaos sets in." Jenzigh said.
"I will never! My people have just found peace from the extinction of the Nahena monster. I will not let villains like you bring the same terror to them. Don't think you can stop me. I won't stop even if I lose my limbs!" Rocketman replied.
"What a soul-stirring speech. I believe your people must be very proud of you. But, Rocketman.. Do you know what kind of person I hate the most? Those who always talk big but can only do things as small as fingernails." Rohan said.
"Your only attack that matters to me is the sore in my poor ears, which forced to listen to your long, boring speech."
Swinging his hand swiftly, Rohan gathered the iron around him, and quickly melted them into a long, thick chain that began to coil around his arm.
