Chereads / Villain Turning Point Mission / Chapter 11 - The Women

Chapter 11 - The Women

The pair of purple eyes stared at the chaos with a crooked smile on his lips. He knew this would happen. It seemed that his mother's greed was dragging more and more people into trouble.

Rohan stared at the trucks that keep going back and forth from the mining site to the ships. During that time, the trucks were constantly being escorted by soldiers running beside them, and not a few of them died on the way because of Ogxigs' attack due to their very long journey if it was taken by their feet only.

The villains had no compassion for soldiers, workers or servants. They were helomus and humans who were mostly forcibly captured to be used as workers. Like the other villains, of course, the Egoxar clan would carry out the practice of kidnapping the young helomus.

Rohan's brows furrowed when he saw Doma and all his soldiers leaving the mining team which seemed to be trying to move to the ships as fast as possible with the as-slow-as-snails mining machines.

What do you expect from the cooperation between fellow villains? Of course, they would betray each other if they could no longer see an advantage.

This kind of sight was certainly not strange in their eyes. No heart was hurt because they too would have done the same if they were on Bardahon's side.

A fire burned inside Jenzigh's chest. Her temper crept up when she found Doma pulling all his soldiers to run away and leave her.

"Fuck you, Doma!"

Now, Jenzigh must survive with the few remaining soldiers to save her own life and her beloved machines.

If she lost the machines, this mission would be detrimental to Egoxar's side. All of their share of mining would remain a little due to the explosion of losses.

"Karek! Pick up us here!" Jenzigh contacted his son who was at the control centre.

"All right!" The man replied.

Jenzigh's order made Jaster and Edra pull their soldiers back into the ship. After everyone had entered and Doma's team had also returned, the ship departed to pick up Jenzigh who was still on her way back.

However, Doma did not remain silent. When he reached the control centre, he prevented the Egoxars from running his prized ship into the acid storm that was moving toward them.

The commotion made Rohan chuckle. Jenzigh should have learned a lot from this incident.

Rohan got down from his board onto the roof of the ship. He stood staring at the thin silhouette of the storm that was far ahead. The sight of the mining team being surrounded by Ogxig also seemed to be getting closer.

"Should I help them?" Rohan murmured as he sat on the roof.

Suddenly, he felt the ship move. He got up and stepped to look down and realized all the doors were closed.

He chuckled. "Are they even going to leave that woman to die here?"

All the doors that had been closed leave Rohan with no way in. It seemed that he too had been forgotten because of the commotion. Yes, as usual, he would indeed be forgotten if he was no longer needed. Or, were they looking for him right now to help save Jenzigh? Well, it could happen too.

No other open door made Rohan enter the ship through a balcony door. He landed in front of the glass door and knocked.

The three women who were talking in the room immediately turned their heads. Rohan smiled and pointed at the doorknob as a signal for the girls to open the door for him.

Bilea turned to her two personal maids. They seemed to be able to read each other's thoughts just from that gaze. When Rohan knocked on her door again, Bilea immediately got up from her seat and went to the door.

"Rohan?" She said.

"Looks like I've interrupted your Ladies' Talk, huh?"

Bilea cleared her throat. "Rohan Egoxar, what brought you here?"

However, Rohan stepped past her to go inside without answering her question first.

"Hey!" Bilea followed in his footsteps.

"Ladies," Rohan greeted the two Bilea's maids who were looking at him with flabbergasted faces.

Before going to the other door, Rohan shut the balcony door. His action made Bilea step back with a sharp glare at him.

"What are you going to do? You better watch your attitude here, Rohan. This is our ship!"

"This is indeed your… or rather, your father's ship. But do you see any concern on my face?" Rohan asked with a faintly mocking smile.

"My Lady.." The two maids approached their master with small steps.

"You two must be busy grooming her. I happened to just pass by. Please, if you are able to; don't mind me," Rohan smiled at them.

Then he headed for the exit which would lead him to the ship's hallway that was the closest to the control room.

However, an annoying step followed him. The mood of the owner of the steps could be heard clearly and it made Rohan click his tongue.

"Hold there, Rohan Egoxar!"

Rohan stopped the movement of his hand which was barely touching the doorknob. Then he pulled his hand back, and turned around. "I thought I told you that my intention to enter your room was just to cross it. However, it seems you have some things to say to me. That way, I'll kindly give you a minute. It starts from.. now," he explained, glancing at the clock on his arm cover.

"What are you thinking, Rohan? Don't you realize that you just broke into my room? I am the eldest daughter of the Bardahon clan. You should know that you can't just do whatever you want here." Bilea started to nag.

Rohan rubbed his ear. "You have to remember that you only have a minute."

"Then what exactly do you want from me? I don't see any have-to-pay-to-enter sign in front of that balcony door." He continued.

"That's none. But you just can't cross through this room as you please. This is the women's room; the noble one." Bilea pointed to the floor.

Rohan smiled sarcastically. "You women are a pain in the ass. So you think you can say things to me just because your father owns this ship, huh? You babble about me crossing your room but not wanting to tell me what the hell you really want from me. Yes, I understand that girls like to play guessing games. But I'm never interested in that."

"Stop it, Rohan. I thought you were a gentleman," Bilea hissed.

Bilea's words made Rohan chuckled amusedly. "A gentleman, huh? What if I tell you what's on my mind? You three girls are just annoyed that I came into this room just to cross by, when I am the Rohan Egoxar who is famous for riding any woman with a begging face like yours. But my apology to say that I have more important things to do right now, and to be honest, you girls aren't my type."

Rohan's words left Bilea stunned. It even took her a few seconds to understand what Rohan meant.

"Y-you..." She couldn't continue her word.

It wasn't because she was surprised at how impudent the man named Rohan was, but because she didn't expect that the man's guess could be so accurate when she was even trying to get that despicable thought out of her mind.

Bilea choked a little and subconsciously glanced to her right and left to see the faces of her maids. She felt her face burning as she found out that Rohan was right about the looks on their faces.

"I can see that you understand now." Rohan smiled crookedly, then raises his hand to grip Bilea's jaw gently.

"This mission is ninety percent complete. I respect your family a little because our families have been in an alliance for decades. But don't mislead me as a man who will do anything that you and your family want. I obey no one, and you should write that down. Next time, don't play with my patience if you don't want this decades-long alliance to turn into an endless war."

Bilea gulped down as her body froze. Rohan's sharp stare and his intense intimidating aura sent a chill down her spine.

"It was a full minute," Rohan glanced at the clock again. "Well then. Have a good time, ladies." He said before leaving them.
