"No! No! Please!"
A loud and hoarse cry that was heard to be able to pierce the witch's throat accompanied her feet which ran as fast as they could.
She kept screaming as she chased the spaceship that flew away from her.
Why was she so stupid? Why did she believe the villain's words? They were swindlers. Now she would die in an acid storm after breaking her clan's vows regarding the sacred ritual.
"Stop! You've promised! Please!"
Above, Rohan's brow furrowed as he stared at the witch who was running her life off to chase them, while the ship they were on was getting higher and faster.
"I don't know whether I can get the same one as her again or not," Jaster muttered as he looked at the screaming witch.
"I believe we won't need her anymore. At least those two fantastically priced machines could be saved, Jaster. We wouldn't be able to mine gold anymore without those machines, would we? You know how much time it takes to make each," Jenzigh said.
"Didn't you promise to take her if she saved your machines?"
Rohan's sudden question made the elders who were about to enter the ship, shocked. They stare at Rohan for a moment, then exchange glances.
"Yes, I did promise to bring her into this ship when she managed to save my machines. But you saw it yourself that she was still wasting time even though the machines had been transported. Of course we have to leave her if we don't want this ship to be hit by the storm." Jenzigh explained, trying to be calm.
"You could see for yourself that she performed the portal closing ritual. I'm sure she wasn't stupid enough to do that for no reason with a storm right on her face." Rohan said, staring deeply into his mother's eyes.
Jenzigh's face instantly stiffened. She glanced at Jaster and Edra who were silent and still exchanging glances at each other.
Doma chuckled with a confused face. "If that's true, I don't think there's any harm in leaving that witch for our good. The machines were successfully moved and she was late to get into the ship."
Rohan ignored Doma. He was still staring intently at his mother. "She has done her job to the end, as you ordered. Yet you left her to die there."
"Rohan.. Don't joke around at a time like this. I know the mission is almost complete, but it's just not the time." Jenzigh chuckled, trying to lighten the mood -or rather- avoid his son.
"Close this door!" Edra exclaimed to one of the soldiers.
"Rohan, we better go inside," Jaster held the man's back.
"Lower the ship,"
Rohan's words made everyone freeze.
Doma immediately turned to him with his eyebrows rose high. "What?"
"Land. This. Damn ship. That witch is still chasing us," Rohan looked down. Then he turned back to his mother. "Keep your promise to her."
"Dammit! Have you gone mad? What happened?" Doma asked in confusion.
Jenzigh and her two husbands exchanged nervous glances. It was not only Doma's opinion, but the opinion of many people in this hall that became their concern.
All the villains knew Rohan as a ruthless and great villain. All they knew was that Rohan would be the next leader of the Egoxar clan. Now with Rohan's attitude like this, Egoxar's face would be tarnished so deeply and their rank would fall to the bottom.
"Land this ship! You abandon her after you drained everything she had?!" Rohan hissed.
"Dammit, Rohan! Hear me. You really don't want to do this. There are many people here. This isn't the time to mess around. If you're bothered by something we're doing along the way, you can save it for us to talk-"
"You think I'm just looking for trouble?" Rohan cut Jenzigh's sentence. He glared at her. "You. You always take advantage of other people to their maximum extent. You gave them hope only to destroy them."
"We are villains, Rohan. What I did was natural and you have to…" Jenzigh's sentence cut off when Rohan turned away from her.
"Rohan!" Jenzigh exclaimed as she watched her son forcibly open the door that was almost completely shut.
But Rohan's move was too fast for Jenzigh to stop him; if she could. Rohan darted out of the ship even when the door was only half opened.
"What happened.." Doma mumbled as he stared at the still open door and turned to Jenzigh.

The protective suit was no longer able to withstand the acidic air that continued to expose it. The holes that were formed were getting wider as they melt.
Even so, Helena did not give up to keep running. Darkness enveloped her. The storm did appear to be tens of meters further away from her, but the invisible acidic air was already feeling so thick it was crushing her skin.
Running while holding her breath so that the acidic air didn't enter her lungs made Helena's steps weaken. If it weren't for her magic, Helena might have died tens of meters behind.
Tears kept flowing. The only thing Helena cared about was staying alive. Even though she had to lose her arms and legs, she had to try to live to produce offspring so that the Makhen clan would not become extinct.
She didn't even know if there were any other witch clans out there. But all she knew so far, of all the planets, only the Makhen clan survived.
The pain could no longer be felt by Helena because it had pierced every inch of her body. She could feel the wetness on her hands and feet. She knew it wasn't just wet with sweat, but with blood as well.
As her feet uncontrollably slowed down, she lost hope of being able to save her bloodline and guard the duties of the wizard kingdom.
But just as that hope nearly melted away with her life, she felt something hard quickly wrap around her waist. And that very second, her body was pulled out of the acid air wave.
'Who?' Helena asked in her heart.
Even though the natural acidic air of Ogxig continued to hit her skin, at least she was no longer in the wave of very high acidity storm.
Helena almost lost consciousness because she hadn't been breathing long enough while running. But her vision caught a figure that was only a shadow. She believed it was a man.
Who was that man? Was he a hero? A hero saved a witch? It seemed impossible because Helomus viewed witches as the hands of the devil.
Then who was that man?
Helena hoped to find an answer by trying to clean the glass of her eye visor only to have it stained with blood.
But suddenly, everything went dark and Helena found herself trapped in an iron coffin.
