Chapter 16 - Have Enough

The acidic air that entered the ship made everyone panic. The few who were standing right under the huge hole were exposed to the acid so they quickly died from not wearing protective suits.

The Gines immediately exerted their abilities to control the wind combined with dust that continued to enter.

Just like everyone who had gotten into the ship, the Egoxar family had also taken off their protective clothing. The problem was that they didn't have the ability to control the air like the Gine clan did.

Just before the hole appeared in the roof of the ship, Jenzigh already had a feeling that a great tragedy was imminent because of her son. That way, her anticipation was no less fast than the acid wind that broke in.

With her ability to control small particles such as dust, Jenzigh pulled and collected the dust that came with the storm to create a dome-shaped shield to protect herself, Jaster and her two children who were happened nearby.

Edra used his ability to run as fast as lightning to immediately rescue the other children to a safer location.

Chaos formed in no time. The Gines worked together to stop the acid wind from entering more and more. But suddenly, something big jumped in through the big hole.

Was it a robot? Yes, it did look like an iron robot carrying a human-sized iron chest on its back.

However, everyone knew that it was not a robot. Everyone knew that in it was a man. He was the mastermind of this shocking chaos. His name was Rohan Egoxar.

Ignoring the chaos around him, Rohan strode with the coffin occupied by a witch, as if he was not the cause of the loss of many lives in that spaceship.

Rohan entered through the door leading to the ship's hallway. He closed the door so that he was completely safe from the acidic air which still swirling in the huge hall.

Rohan's armour melted and blended into the metal floor and walls around him. He took a deep breath because he had been lowering his breathing rate earlier to keep his air filter from breaking and causing him to have to hold his breath.

When Rohan moved his finger a little, the coffin that had been troubling him also melted like his iron armour.

The witch Helena who had been confined inside was still alive. That meant Rohan's efforts were not in vain. The ill-fated woman started coughing in response to her lungs expanding after shrinking for some time.

"This is good," Rohan muttered after opening a door behind him.

Even though he never knew where exactly the food storage was on this ship, Rohan had entered various types of ships so he was very familiar with where the food storage rooms were usually located.

Stepping out of the room that had many coolers, Rohan had two large bottles of fresh water in his hands. He stopped in front of the witch Helena and stared at the woman blankly for a moment.

Then he opened the lid of one of the bottles to pour the contents over his head, face and body to remove any residue from the acidic air.

After consuming four litres of water to wet his body, Rohan did the same for the witch who was still lying helpless on the floor.

"I suggest you strip off to make sure this freshwater rinses your entire melted body," Rohan said while pouring water over the witch from head to toe. It felt as if he was seasoning his dinner.

"Rohan!"

He turned to the source of the voice echoing down the hallway, and found his mother walking towards him with a huge rage on her face.

A wide smile formed on Rohan's wet face. "Oh, look at the joy on that beautiful face of yours, mother. You must be very proud that I have saved your navigator,"

"I have enough of your outrageous behaviour, Rohan!"

Rohan looked at Jenzigh with an unconcerned face. One of his eyebrows rose and his head tilted slightly. "What did I do wrong? I don't understand what you're talking about, unfortunately."

Then Rohan stepped over to Jenzigh and his steps moved around her in a circle. "Outrageous you said? What is wrong and what is right? You don't own me to have the right to tell me what the answer is; let alone control my comprehension."

"I am your mother, Rohan! I gave birth to you and raised you!" Jenzigh snapped.

But Rohan responded with a chuckle. "Every time you say that, I wish more and more that I wasn't born from your commendable womb. What kind of mother would be able to leave her son who had given her a mountain of advantages?"

"Tell me, mother: When you did that to me, did your heart feel the same way as when you left my father to die alone in the middle of a war just to protect the treasure that you loved so much?" He continued.

Jenzigh clenched her fists. She felt as if she was gulping a handful of pebbles.

Rohan again chuckled to see his mother not having a single word to defend herself. It was because all of his words were true.

"Where are you going?" Jenzigh asked as her son walked away from her.

However, Rohan didn't respond to her at all. Seeing Rohan's back getting further and further away towards the hall, she immediately caught up to his pace. She didn't know what he was up to again this time.

The door opened and Rohan stepped inside the great hall which had just been hit by a storm. He put on a relaxed face with his hands on his hips as he looked around. He smiled amusedly at the chaos that had occurred. What an interesting sight!

It didn't take everyone in the place ten seconds to realize who had come into the hall. It was someone responsible for this madness. They subconsciously looked at the man named Rohan in unison.

However, Rohan was never bothered by such stress. It was just a daily meal for him. He was a villain, remember?

Then Rohan continued his steps towards the east side of the ship. However, a loud and firm call brought him to a halt.

"Stop right there, Rohan." Doma walked over to the silver-haired man.

Although the displeasure was so much evident on his face, Rohan stopped his steps and turned to the man who called his name. Then, he gave him a forced smile that looked annoyingly rude.

"What did you think to dare to do that, Rohan?" Doma asked furiously.

"Dare?" Rohan frowned with an astonished grin. "Are you losing your mind to ask me about courage?"

"Why did you do all of this?!" Doma hissed.

"Oh," Rohan acted as if he had just remembered what he had done. "I thought our departure from this planet was less dramatic, so I decided to give it a little spark of entertainment,"

"You know it's the wrong move to joke around with me at a time like this, don't you? I believe you can see the seriousness on my face!" Doma asked.
