Despite wearing special clothes to withstand the acid air, Rohan could sense that the acidity in the air was thin.
In fact, Rohan never actually set foot on the planet Ogx. In his experiences of visiting this planet twice, he only wandered far above the ground. He watched the Ogxigs from the sky using tools.
However, from all that experiences, Rohan had never found acidity in the air this low. Normally, his protective clothes would have started to erode within the first twenty minutes. But now it had been almost an hour and all he could see was a light fret on them.
His purple eyes stared at the red arid landscape. There was no Ogxig in sight as most had gathered at the mining site.
"The air is too clean," Rohan murmured with narrowed eyes.
After that, he dashed towards the ship. Arriving there, he headed straight for the control centre where Karek Egoxar dan Pason Bardahon were leading. Karek was Rohan's brother and the son of Jaster Rightager.
"Karek,"
The man with purplish white hair turned his head. "Rohan? What brought you here?"
"Didn't you see the acidity indicator in the air?" Rohan directly asked, now standing next to the man to face the large screen and the wide, large engine control board.
Karek nodded. "The acidity level is lower than we've estimated. This is good, isn't it?"
"Everything that looks good doesn't necessarily have a good meaning. You were probably looking at the rainbow before the disaster struck."
Karek's brow furrowed. "I always check all the storm indicators and others. No problems so far."
"People who move by relying solely on the experiences of others will only get the same findings and repeat the same mistakes," Rohan said while fiddling with the control board in front of him.
Before long, an image appeared on the large screen in front of them. In a green squares column, there was a red line that moved very slowly.
"What's that?" Karek muttered in surprise.
A crooked smile formed on Rohan's lips. "That is a storm,"
"But.. how come? It wasn't there since the beginning, there's no sign of it appearing either."
"Because you only checked according to the instructions regarding the planet Ogix. The air here moves in one direction. Storms rarely happen; at least that's what the researchers noted. But you know; is there someone willing to do research for free?"
Kerek looked at Rohan with a contemplating face. "If there is, he must be a stupid lunatic,"
"You got my point."
In this dark era, wars often occurred. The explosion of the human population forced them to do various ways to have the most comfortable planet to live in.
Unfortunately, the creatures that inhabit this universe were not only humans. Most planets have their native inhabitants that were almost on average shaped as monsters. Apart from humans, there were also various races that had the same intelligence as them.
The intense competition made everyone selfish. Information became something very expensive and scarce. No bodies wanted to be the researcher who spent their lives learning about something and then spreading the information.
Usually, anyone who had information about something would keep the information for his own benefit or the interests of his group.
Therefore, one must have a lot of experience in his life to become a useful person and be able to survive in this tight environment.
Rohan patted Karek's shoulder once. "Keep an eye on that storm. It's still quite a distance away, but it's moving this way. I'll see how they are outside,"
"You better help them, Rohan. If we don't have much time and Ogxig continues to block the mining process, this mission will most likely fail." Karek said.
"You know what kind of people your mother and Doma are, don't you? You think they'll let it happen?" Rohan chuckled as he walked away.

Planet Ogx had no other inhabitants besides Ogxig. The arrival of hundreds of fresh-blooded creatures certainly made all the Ogxigs from all over the place keep coming.
"Damn it! They are endless," Edra said as he continued to shoot at the Ogxigs who had filled the area like a plague.
On the other hand, Jenzigh was still managing the mining process by using the witch Helena to continuously monitor deep below the hard ground around them.
Bringing in Helena really helped them save time and effort. They could see which parts of the land were empty and which still had gold. Helena's vision was absolutely spotless, beating the most advanced radar ever.
However, Jenzigh was surprised to find that their current location did not meet the total of gold she wanted. When the gold was almost gone, she realized there was still a little space left in her gold store hall, where it should have been completely filled; according to the mission goal.
"The gold here is almost gone. We still have plenty of time. I'll check out another location so we can move out of here." Jenzig said through the small round communication device stuck behind her ear.
"Sure. Tell me if you're going to move so I can gather the army." Doma answered.
But suddenly, Karek got into their communication network. "Everyone,"
"Yes? What's the matter Karek?" Jenzig asked directly. She could sense from the tone of his son's voice that something was off.
"There's a storm forming and it's heading this way. I estimate it will arrive in less than an hour." He explained.
"What?" Jenzigh mumbled disapprovingly before cursing in annoyance.
Throughout history, storms on the planet Ogxig had only occurred three times in millions of years. But were they really that doomed so the next storm came right on their mining day?
"Is the new mining site far from here, Jenzigh?" Doma asked while shooting Ogxig from his post.
"About ten kilometres," Jenzigh replied with her eyes fixed on the screen in her hand.
"It looks like thirty minutes is enough for one round. I think one-time mining will be enough to fill the remaining storage space." Doma said.
Jenzigh nodded in agreement. "You are right. Then, be prepared to make a move."
Even though she couldn't hear what the female villain behind her was talking about, Helena had a feeling that something terrible was about to happen. She was even more surprised when Jenzig ordered her to look further ahead and lead them to the new mining site they had discovered earlier.
Once the truck which was carrying the last of the mining gold had left, Jenzigh put her next plan into action, which was to get all the mining machinery to move fifteen kilometres further from their current position, and also further away than their two parked ships.
When Rohan got out of the ship, he saw the mining team moving away towards the north.
"Where will they go?" Rohan muttered with a frown.
He immediately dashed after Jenzigh who was moving along with the two giant mining machines.
"Rohan. Did you come to guard us?" Jenzigh asked when she found her son coming.
"Why are you guys moving there? Didn't Karek tell you there is a storm coming?"
"What?! Storm?!" Helena looked up at him in horror.
"Shut up!" Jenzigh snapped at the witch.
"I know. But there is still a little space in the gold storage. We're going to mine up ahead. You don't have to worry. There's still enough time." Jenzigh explained to Rohan.
"You can't ignore the storm. It will probably move faster than expected." Rohan said.
"Rohan, everything has a risk, especially if the reward is huge. We are professionals. Everything will go according to plan," Jenzigh smiled.
Rohan chuckled sarcastically. "Well then. I want to see what the outcome will be." Then he flew away.
