Chereads / I am trash! [BL] / Chapter 11 - Let's go our separate ways.

Chapter 11 - Let's go our separate ways.

The players started choosing out their outfits carefully. Since they were inside the game already, their clothes weren't just for the looks but were also highly functional. Each outfit was different and provided different pros and cons to the wearer.

"By the way, Where are we?" Li Ying asked as she looked over towards her brother.

Li Ling looked around and carefully examined his surroundings before he spoke, "Probably somewhere inside stage three."

"Where do we go from here?" Huang Zhen asked as he chose his clothes.

As soon as the clothes were taken out of the wardrobe, they switched with the one that they were wearing and hence saved them a lot of time.

"Wah~ It's like magic," Li Ying looked to be impressed and intrigued as she commented.

Li Ling looked over at Wang GuiYing and with a rather bland expression on his face, he asked, "Do you know where he is?"

Wang GuiYing sighed as he pushed himself off the ground and turned to look at Li Ling, "You're the gamemaster. Don't you know?"

Li Ling shook his head, "You don't even know the name of the player so how can I know where he is?"

Wang GuiYing pursed his lips into a thin line as he heard this and it seemed that so far, he had yet to realize this problem.

Zhou Xinyi was probably not using his usual gaming username and since they didn't know which name he was currently using, they had no clue on where to find him.

"Let's wing it!" Wang GuiYing exclaimed as if he had just given a great idea.

Li Ling looked to be unimpressed as he heard this and simply stared at Wang GuiYing, hoping for the man to come up with a serious plan.

Zhihao chose his clothes and immediately changed into them as he joined the conversation and spoke up, "How about we look for the player who's stuck in here?"

"Eh?" Wang GuiYing looked to be a bit shocked and confused as he heard his question and it seemed that he wasn't the only one.

"A player who's stuck?" Li Ying's eyebrows creased together as she questioned.

Zhihao looked at Li Ling expectantly. He knew it was important for the company to keep that player a secret but since they were all here as a team, Zhihao didn't want to hide it from them and he wanted Li Ling to be the one to reveal things.

Li Ling sighed as he noticed Zhihao's gaze and cursed under his breath as he spoke, "I'm not actually here to find Hulk."

Although Wang GuiYing had already expected it to be something like that, he was still surprised to see that Li Ling was revealing his motive this soon.

"There was a small incident inside the game," Li Ling spoke as he informed, "Someone stole a player's ID and as per the original owner's request, we disabled the ID. However, the person who stole the ID is now stuck inside the game and we have to now get him out."

"..." Zhihao was perhaps the only one who wasn't shocked to hear this since he had already heard all about it, but the same could not be said about the other three.

Surprisingly enough, Li Ying also had no idea about this and the sudden shock had rendered her speechless.

"Wait..." Huang Zhen muttered with a frown as he asked, "Does that mean there is something wrong with the system...? Again?!"

Li Ling shook his head, "No, it's just a minor problem that can be fixed."

"What about us?" Huang Zhen's eyebrows creased together in worry as he questioned, "Would we be able to return safely?"

"If all goes well then that's probably going to be the case," Li Ling reassured with a nod.

Wang GuiYing scoffed as he commented, "Should've known there was something like that going on. Ya know, your company is really untrustworthy."

"..." Li Ling couldn't say anything in defense to that.

"So let's look for the missing thief first," Zhihao spoke with a smile as he looked at the rest of the members, "On the way, we might be able to run into Zhou Xinyi as well."

As soon as Wang GuiYing heard that name, his ears perked up with interest but he didn't look to be quite satisfied with the idea as he spoke, "I came here to look for him, not to fix this game. So count me out of your plan."

"Hmm?" Li Ling raised his eyebrows as he heard this and looked at Wang GuiYing with a bit of surprise.

"Trash, you can't possibly be planning to-" Before Zhihao could even finish what he wanted to say, Wang GuiYing had already cut him off and confirmed his suspicion.

"Let's go our separate ways. I'm going alone."

"..."

"You guys can go look for the ID thief and I'll go look for Hulk," Wang GuiYing added as he changed his clothes.

Zhihao gulped as he heard this and he was clearly not happy to hear this decision, however, he couldn't stop the man nor could he volunteer to go with him.

"Then I'll also join you," Li Ying raised her hand and sighed as she informed, "Gege, you can go ahead with Mastermo. The three of us would go looking for Zhou Xinyi."

The team was immediately divided into two and they both went on different missions.

"You didn't need to join me," Wang GuiYing spoke as he headed off in an unknown direction.

Li Ying grabbed Huang Zhen and pulled him along, following behind Wang GuiYing as she nodded her head and agreed, "I didn't need to but I wanted to."

She nudged Huang Zhen and forced the boy to speak up as well.

"In the first place itself, we came here to help you so, of course, we'll join you," Huang Zhen spoke with a sigh as he also sided with Li Ying.

Wang GuiYing couldn't help but smile as he heard this.

"In that case, you guys are in charge of the food," Wang GuiYing spoke, sounding rather happy as he did.

"Eh?" Both Li Ying and Huang Zhen looked to be taken back and shared a confused expression as they stared at Wang GuiYing.

"What?" Wang GuiYing asked with a frown as he pointed out, "We're gonna be here for quite some days. We'll need to find food and a place to sleep."

Li Ying and Huang Zhen looked at each other as they heard this and both of them had the same question in mind; 'Wasn't this just a game. Would they need to eat and sleep as well...?'

Wang GuiYing was probably a mind reader since he chuckled and asked, "You guys didn't gather enough information, did you?"

Li Ying gulped but said nothing.

"Once you are inside the game, you can leave whenever you'd like but after you go exit the game, you'll need to wait for a week before re-entering."

Li Ying's eyes widened ever slightly as she heard this and Huang Zhen listened to the man attentively. It was clear that the two had never heard about this rule before.

"So we can't leave unless we find Hulk," Wang GuiYing continued with a mischievous smile, "Even though we are inside a game, our bodies remain the same so we'll need to find food to keep ourselves alive. It was written inside the rules and regulations section on the main page of the game under the transmigration category."

"Oh..."

"And since you two chose to be attackers, you'll look for the food."

"..."

"I'm just a healer so if you get injured, you can count on me. For the rest, I'll be dependent on you," Wang GuiYing shamelessly beamed and although he was half-joking, it didn't quite look like it.

"Trash, you really haven't changed a bit, have you?" Li Ying's right eye twitched as she muttered with a frown. She was now already starting to regret her decision of choosing to follow this man.

"Let's divide up now," Wang GuiYing spoke with a bright smile.

He took out a map from his inventory and carefully scrutinized it before he spoke, "We'll need to cover the entire third stage so let's start here."

He pointed at the map as he continued, "We'll divide up for now and we'll meet up here after an hour."

The other two nodded their heads obediently with a small frown on their face that depicted their dissatisfaction with the plan.

They thought this experience was going to be a fun one but it seemed that this was going to be really different from what they had imagined.

When all was said and done, the two youngsters headed out in different directions as per Wang GuiYing's plan and Wang GuiYing smiled happily as he saw them go.

When they had left, Wang GuiYing sighed as he leisurely put his hands behind his head and looked up at the sky.

"Zhou Xinyi..."

He only muttered the man's name and didn't bother saying anything more as he continued on his way.

The plan was rather simple but the chances of finding Zhou Xinyi were still pretty slim.
