She walked in the wooden floor boards were arranged in a crisscrossing pattern while the walls were just simple boards. The walls were mostly covered with notes, blueprints, lists and other things that she kept in her room. One wall was mostly for tools, with an occasional blueprint and note hanging in the empty spaces between.
I walked in lowering my head to fit through the door, than I closed the door behind me. On a large table was a multitude of parts, a few tools and a blueprint pinned on the board in front of the desk. Her bed was in the corner of the room, besides it was a few bookshelves containing books, some she wrote down for notes, others were ones she liked to read.
It was cramped but yet spacious at the same time, the wall in front of me consists of her inventions. There were not many but each one was well suited to its purpose, the other walls were layered by blueprints on possible future projects. There was a wooden holding stand where blueprints of completed projects were stored away at.
She jumped up and spreads her wings before quickly tucking them away and flopping onto her bed. She yawns softly stretching her arms, "River, why do I always feel sleepy after spending some time in the spring or anything warm?" She asked me, crossing her legs as she placed her hand over one of her horns.
I shrugged walking over and sitting down next to Star on her bed. "I don't know, but it is most likely related to your draconian side, perhaps that side of you likes warm things?" I suggested, looking over to her, "Or you are just a natural at being a couch potato" I said jokingly, smirking.
She huffed offended and punched my shoulder playfully, "Am not! If that were the case I would not be able to complete so many of my inventions." She told me with a stern voice glaring at me.
"Come on, it's just a joke no need to take it so seriously," I chided her waving a hand in surrender, chuckling. "It's your draconian side which does that, I'm sure of it although being eighteen you are very short for someone your age." I commented on making a quick comparison by sitting next to her for emphasis.
She glared at me and gave an exasperated sigh, leaning her head against my hand shaking her head. "I don't know… but I really do wish I could get taller as well, I hate being short"
"Then eat more! I am sure you will grow taller with more nutrients to help you grow." I said wrapping an arm around her small frame.
She walked my side "It does not work like that for girls, it might for you guys but that will just make me fat, not taller!" She complained, shifting her head to look up at me "What time is it now?" She queried, wanting to change the subject.
"Now? I would say dinner, only if the others are ready like us want me to check?" I told her, laying off the topic as I pat her head with my free hand, returning the gaze.
She nods and moves her head off my side "please do," she told me. I nod and get up, standing up and walking out of the room. I pushed the door open and left it that way, I walked through the hallway, my footsteps echoing through the corridor.
