The rarest of all Voidborn are Controllers and thankfully only one has ever been sighted. These are gigantic creatures of chaos who's mere presence will enrage all surrounding Voidborn. They are slightly shorter than the wall; they can contort any part of their body into a weapon with no expanse. Their only weakness and the way they can be killed is a pitch black gem on its forehead. With its presence the attacks orchestrated by the Voidborn are way more complex and organised.
There were once 10 Shadows, 7 f them died while fighting this abomination and by sheer luck the remaining managed to defeat the controller. This is the most evolved and sentient Voidborn other than the Anchors and Gale the Queen of the Voidborn. The Shadow who killed the Controller gained its powers and its weakness, therefore after it was felled the Shadows was able to single handedly dispatch the remaining Voidborn.
These Controllers are beings of nightmares, their body is constantly enveloped in faces. They resemble numerous faces howling out in agony, it has 2 pairs of glowing red eyes and thin lanky limbs. It had a crystal crown floating above its head and 8 pairs of horns. Its hands split up into one more pair at each joint so in total it had 8 hands on each side. It seemed to be able to change its body to suit its liking creating holes in its body for projectiles to pass through. It had a chain with the skulls of Ancients as a necklace, a symbol of triumph and its power.
Then there are the Anchors who are massively powerful and ancient Voidborn there are 3 on this world. One resembles a massive snake coiled around the Shadow column called 'Apophis', the pillars that anchor our world to theirs. The second one is more of an abomination of smoke with an ever changing form named 'Nightmare'. The last and most powerful of all is 'Dark' which it referred to as its name. It looked like a large humanoid figure wrapped in cloth darker than the night sky with blue piercing eyes. They wield a huge sytch and are capable of necromancy, bringing back allies and foes to fight for him.
There are also anomalies within the Voidborn who posses higher power and intelligence than its peers. Scouts have been seen jumping at ridiculous heights, Scouts that are capable of fighting back or Phantoms who can actually fly. There are numerous other abnormal behaviours but these are rarely seen among the ranks of the Voidborn.
The most alarming mutation was a Phantom possessing the capabilities to take over the bodies of other creatures. Study of these creatures is hard because their bodies dissolve upon contact with light. What we know is that they lack a proper digestive system with only a stomach. They all have no gender other than Shadows and the Resurrected so how they reproduce or have such great numbers are unknown.
