Chapter 51 - Chapter 51 The Great City Of Helios

As they walked a giant floating city came into sight as they marched up a hill. Thomas stared at it as he asked "So does anyone have an idea of how we're getting up there?" Lily turned and looked at him as she said "You can just teleport us all up there!" Thomas stared at her annoyed as he said "If I do that I can only teleport to where I can see witch is pretty much just the bottom of the island." Lily pointed to the island as she said "If you teleport us to the bottom we can climb up to the top of it." Thomas stared at the sky island as he said "And if we fall we're likely to die." Scarlett stared at them as she said "I'm sure we can figure something out." They all sat down and looked at the floating island as Thomas mumbled "Maybe we should've thought about this on our way here." They all began to think of ways to get up as some shadows flew past them they all looked up into the air as they seen female bird people flying above them. Lily and Daisy both pointed as they shouted "We can use the harpies to get up." Thomas stared at them as he said "I suppose you two know the harpies and their willing to do us a favor." Lily and Daisy stared at him as they said "At least we had an idea." Thomas stood up and pointed to the island as he said "Why don't we have Scarlett fly up their with me and then back down so I can teleport all of you up their?" They all stared at him as they thought about the plan and decided that it was probably the best chance they had. As Scarlett grew her wings the harpies who passed above them moments ago dived down and picked Thomas up off the ground as they started to fly towards the floating island. Lily and Daisy looked at each other as they said "Our plan would've worked." As two of the Harpies carried Thomas away he looked at them and asked "What are you doing?" The harpies stared at him as they carried him into the city without giving him an answer. As Thomas faded from Lily, Daisy, and Scarlett's view another harpy landed in front of them as she said "We proud species of the harpy appreciate you bringing us a mate for we are only a female species." They all stared at the harpy confused as they asked "Can you bring us up to?" The harpy turned around and flew towards the island as they all began to yell "Wait!" As Thomas and the two harpies flew above the city they dropped him and flew away. As Thomas stood up he rubbed his head as he mumbled "What the hell was that for?" Thomas looked around as he seen harpies staring at him as he mumbled "So much for not making an entrance." Thomas waved at them as he said "Hello, can any of you explain to me why I was swiped off the ground?" One of the harpies approached him as she said "We of the harpy can not have male offspring and must have intercourse with other species to maintain our own species." Thomas stared at her as he asked "Wouldn't you offspring be composed of multiple species?" She shook her head as she said "Harpies can only birth other harpies." Thomas began to walk away as he said "I'm not interested." The harpy began to follow him as she said "We must first see if you are a suitable match for our species since harpies only mate with the strong." The harpies began to fly as she said "We will now attack if you can survive you will become our mate." Thomas stared at them as he asked "What part of not interested did you not understand?" Thomas continued to walk as he waved and said "I gotta find a way down now so I can figure out how to get three people up here." The harpies flew in front of him as they said "If you can beat our strongest warrior we shall allow those three into our domain." Thomas stared at them as he shrugged and said "That's way easier then exhausting myself." Thomas walked up to the harpies as he asked "So who will I be fighting?" As the harpies moved away a harpy wearing armor approached him as she said "We will fight now." Thomas closed his eyes and shrugged as he asked "Is this some sort of death match or is it just for fun." As Thomas opened his eyes he seen a spear heading for his face as he grabbed it and said "So its to the death." The harpy kicked Thomas away as she pulled her spear back and said "You stopped my spear dead in its tracks but strength is nothing without speed." Thomas stood up as he held his side and said "It seems like your not lacking in either." She began to fly at Thomas with the spear as he yawned and said "I came all this way so don't expect me to just stand here and die." As she flew closer Thomas grabbed the spear once again as he used the spear to fling her into a building. As she hit the wall she began to stand back up she held her left wing and shouted "I will not surrender!" Thomas threw the spear away and began to walk towards her as he said "If you won't surrender that's fine but just know that I won't surrender either." She began to fly towards Thomas as she shouted "I can manage with unarmed combat." Thomas stared at her as he said "I'm sure you can but since your so good at flying you should resort to flight instead of might." She began to claw at Thomas with her feet as he blocked her using his arms as she shouted "I already said I will not surrender because I am part of the proud harpy race!" Thomas continued to block her as he said "Dammit I just fixed these clothes." The harpy continued to scratch at his arms as she said "With all of the blood your losing you should be more worried about you life." Thomas lowered his arms as he started to dodge her attacks as he said "I'm done humoring you." The harpy stopped attacking as she asked "What foolishness do you speak?" Thomas took off his shirt as he held it up and said "Your destroying my clothes." The harpy stared at Thomas as she shouted angrily "Do you take me as some sort of joke!" Thomas walked over to her spear that he had thrown away as he picked it up and tossed it to her as he said "Let's just end this." As she began to fly towards him he dodged the spear and mumbled "I already have to waste time fixing my clothes thanks to you." The harpy turned around as she began to stab at Thomas with the spear as she shouted "Will you not hit me because I am a lady?" Thomas smiled as he raised his fist and punched her once in the head as she hit the ground Thomas said "That doesn't have anything to do with it, I was just waiting for an opening." She began to stand up as Thomas started to walk towards her with a smile as he asked "Are you hungry for more?" The harpy began to fly as she said "I surrender you have proven your strength." Thomas stared at her as he walked over to his shirt as he picked it up and stared at the torn sleeves as he mumbled "I'm beginning to wonder if repairs will do anything." The harpy that Thomas was fighting landed in front of him as she said "Now that our fight is over we should mate." Thomas ignored her as he pulled out his needle and thread as he began to roughly patch up his clothes. The harpy grabbed Thomas's still torn shirt as he stared at her she said "We should mate now." Thomas stared at her annoyed as he grabbed the shirt and asked "What do you want?" The harpy sat down in front of him as they stared eye to eye as she said "I wish to mate with you since you are the first man to beat me." Thomas stared at her as he said "Like I said I'm not interested besides weren't you suppose to bring my friends up?" The harpy stood up and flew away and moments later the harpy came back as she said "My friends will bring them up shortly." Thomas finished fixing his shirt as he put it on and asked "Is the blood visible?" She nodded as they walked over to Thomas as Daisy yelled "I can't believe you got yourself into another fight!" Thomas sighed as he looked at the harpy as he asked "Should I explain it or should you?" The harpy cheerfully said "He is now my mate." They all stared at Thomas shocked as Thomas said "That isn't even remotely right." Thomas stared at her as he said "I don't even know who you are." The harpy stared at Thomas as she said "I'm Ocis." Thomas stared at her as he said "That's not what I meant." Thomas stared at Scarlett as he asked "Why didn't you just fly up?" Scarlett nervously said "When I tried harpies would block my way and try to attack me if I got to close." Thomas sighed as he stared at the ground and mumbled "Something tells me I'm not gonna like this place."
