Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 Avoiding Mating

As Daisy wrapped Thomas's arms Ocis the harpy continued to pester Thomas about mating as Thomas stared at her annoyed and asked "Don't you have anything better to do?" The harpy shook her head as she said "I must mate with the strong warrior that beat me." Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "I can't even get a break." After Daisy finished wrapping his arms Thomas stood up and put his hand on Ocis's shoulder as he said "I'm one hundred percent sure that their are thousands upon thousands of people stronger then me so how about you go find one of them." The harpy stared at Thomas for a while as she asked "Does that mean we're gonna mate now?" Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "She's a total bird brain." Thomas took his hand off of her shoulder and started to walk away as waved and said "I'm still not interested." As Thomas began to walk away the harpy hopped on his back and wrapped him with her wings as she said "Don't leave we still have to mate." Thomas teleported beside Lily as he looked at her and asked "Got any ideas on how to get rid of her?" Lily stared at him as she said "You caused the problem you can solve it." Thomas sighed as he said "Maybe I should've taken the death match to mean literal death." Daisy stared at him as she asked "You were gonna kill her?" Thomas shrugged as he said "No I wasn't but I'm beginning to think that option would've been a lot better then this one." As Thomas watched the Ocis open her wings and search for him Thomas looked at Lily, Daisy, and Scarlett as he said "You three enjoy the town I'm gonna see if I can find a way to get her to stop following me." Thomas walked up to the harpy as he asked "What do you want?" The harpy stared at him as she said "I want to mate with a strong warrior!" Thomas sighed as he mumbled "Where's Toby when you need him." Thomas shrugged as he said "I'm not gonna mate with you." The harpy jumped on Thomas once again as she asked "Why won't you mate with me." Thomas began to push her off as he said "Its nothing personal I'm just not interested." Ocis continued to latch onto him as she asked "Is it because I scratched you?" Thomas looked at his arms as he said "These injuries are nothing, besides like I said I'm just not interested." The harpy let go of Thomas as she picked him up off of the ground as she said "I know, what if we go somewhere private." Thomas stared at her as he asked "You were just about to do it in the open?" The harpy nodded as she said "We harpies don't worry about that stuff." Thomas looked around as he said "You get a nice view from up here." The harpy looked down as she said "I see this stuff all the time." Thomas looked around as he said "It must get boring." The harpy smiled as she said "All that's gonna change after I mate with you." Thomas stared at her as he said "That's not gonna happen." She stared at him as she asked "Why not?" Thomas nervously said "B-because." The harpy continued to fly through the air as she asked "Why won't you mate with me." Thomas stared at her as he said "Their are reasons I'm not explaining." The harpy continued to fly through the air as she landed on a building as she said "This is where I live!" Thomas got up as he stared at her as he looked off of the building and asked "Why'd you bring me here?" The harpy smiles as she said "I want to show my parents my mate!" Thomas stared at her as he said "I still didn't agree to that." The harpy wrapped Thomas up in her wings as she started to pull Thomas towards the entrance as she said "You can see it's a surprise!" Thomas just went with it as he mumbled "If I go through with this and her parents don't like me then I'm free to go." As Ocis removed her wings Thomas looked around as he seen a harpy and a human as stared at him and mumbled "Right the fathers are always gonna be a different species." Ocis approached them as she said "I have found my mate!" Thomas stared at them as he mumbled "Now all I have to do is wait for them to deny it." Ocis parents both congratulated her as they asked "So is this the young man who finally beat you?" Ocis nodded as she said "He's the man who beat me and shall be my mate!" Thomas stared at them as he mumbled "Of course their fine with it." Ocis approached Thomas as she said "These are my parents!" Thomas stared at them as he asked "Are they really fine with this?" Ocis,s parents stared at Thomas as her mother said "Of course we're fine with it that's how I met my mate." Thomas stared at them speechless as Ocis grabbed Thomas by the arm and said "During our fight I only managed to scratch him." Ocis's mother walked up to Thomas as she said "Don't worry about finding a place to stay in the city you can stay with us." Thomas stared at Ocis's father as he mumbled "Come on you have be against this right." As Ocis's father stood up Thomas mumbled "Come on go against this terrible idea!" As Ocis's dad neared Thomas he said "We'll happily welcome another brave warrior into our home." Thomas stood their not saying a thing as Ocis's mother asked Ocis "Why don't you show him your room?" Thomas stared at Ocis as he mumbled "My plan has back fired." Ocis grabbed Thomas's arm and led him through a door as she said "This is my room!" Thomas looked around as he said "I don't know why you told them I was your mate since I don't intend to." Ocis's stared at him as she said "If you won't mate with me now I'll follow you until your ready." Thomas stared at her as he said "Even if I mated with you, you were just gonna follow me anyway, right?" Ocis nodded as she said "From this point on I am your wife!" Thomas sighed as he said "I suppose that's a huge step away from mating so I'll accept it." Ocis cheered as she said "I'm gonna go on an adventure with my mate!" Thomas stared at her as he said "Stop calling me your mate I have a name so how about you just call me Thomas." Ocis nodded as she said "Okay future mate I'll call you Thomas!" Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "She may not be the smartest but I suppose she'll figure it out sooner or later." Ocis walked up to Thomas as she grabbed his arm and began to pull him towards the bed as she said "Come sleep with me!" As she continued to drag him she said "Don't worry we're just gonna sleep." Thomas let out a sigh of relief as he said "You had me worried for a minute." Ocis stared at him as she said "We can do that when your ready!" Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "She's not gonna forget that anytime soon." As they approached the bed Ocis threw Thomas onto the bed as she crawled up beside him and covered him with her wing as she said "Good night future mate." Thomas sat up as he said "It's still morning." Ocis sat up as she said "I forgot." Thomas stared at her as he asked "How did you forget it was day?" Ocis grabbed Thomas and drug him back to the roof as she said "Let's go find your friends!" Thomas sighed as he said "Guess we're flying again?" Ocis shook her head as she said "Your only gonna be here for a little while so you should walk around and see some of the sights!" Thomas glanced off of the building as he asked "So why did we come to the roof if we're going sightseeing?" Ocis stared at the ground as she said "We're gonna jump!" Thomas stared at the ground as he said "That's great and all but I can't fly." Ocis flew into the air and said "I'll meet you down on the ground!" Thomas sighed as he watched her fly done as he started to run and jump as he shouted "This is gonna hurt like hell!" As Thomas approached the ground he began to run down the building as he said "This is my best bet of survival." As Thomas neared the ground he jumped off of the wall of the building and fell on his face as he stood up and shook the dirt off of him as he looked at Ocis and said "I can't fly." She stared at him as she said "Sorry I forgot." Thomas sighed as he said "And here I thought I couldn't remember anything." Thomas shrugged as he said "Let's just search for them."
