Chapter 55 - Chapter 55 The Finale Couple Standing

As Thomas got near the harpy the man that Ocis had left the spear in pulled the spear out of his leg and plunged it into Thomas's back. Thomas fell to the ground as the man stood on top of Thomas and continued to push on and twist the spear as he said "That'll teach you to attack my wife." Thomas laid their screaming in pain as he continued to twist the spear. Ocis began to run towards Thomas as she shouted "I'll save you!" As Thomas tried to tell her to stay back he coughed up blood as she continued to run towards the man and the other harpy. The man pushed the spear deeper into the ground as he let go and began to fight Ocis. Ocis began to fly around him as Thomas muttered "Keep your distance and you'll be fine." The man looked over at his harpy wife as he asked "Are you able to fly?" Thomas began to laugh as blood began to come up he said "I thought I might go down when she said you rougher then her so I made sure that I'd limit her ability to flight by taking out one of her arms." The man kicked Thomas in the side as he yelled "You tore through her arm to prevent her from flying!" Thomas continued to lay their impaled by the spear as Ocis dived down and clawed at the man. Thomas continued to lay their as he said "Keep to the sky it's your one advantage." Ocis nodded as she said "I won't lose this." Thomas laid their as he mumbled "To he'll with losing someone needs to pull this damn spear out of me." As Ocis and the man fought the man began to throw things such as sticks and stones at Ocis as he shouted "You can only fly for so long!" The man looked over as he seen Thomas still laying their as the other harpy stood up and began to walk towards the man as she said "I may not be able to fly but I can still fight." Thomas continued to lay their as he mumbled "Two against one?" The man and the other harpy began to throw things at Ocis as Thomas mumbled "She'll have to focus more on dodging now." While Thomas laid thier Ocis flew over him as she dived down and grabbed the spear. As she pulled the spear out of the ground and out of Thomas he shouted out in pain "What the hell are you doing?" Ocis pulled the spear completely out as she said "If I'm going to fight them I'll need my weapon!" Thomas rolled over and stared at Ocis as he held his stomach and muttered "You got this." Ocis stared at him and said "I promise I'm gonna win this for you!" Thomas laid their as he said "That's great and all but I'm probably gonna lose consciousness before I get the chance to see you do that." The man and the other harpy approached Ocis as Thomas laid their and said "Give them hell." Thomas closed his eyes as he grinned with blood still on his face as he mumbled "While you win this thing I'm gonna get some shut eye." Ocis stared at Thomas as she shouted "Don't die!" Thomas continued to lay their without saying anything as he continued to grin. The man and the other harpy continued to throw things at Ocis as they yelled "We already killed your boyfriend so why not let us kill you so you can be together again!" Ocis began cry as she flew directly at the man with her spear as she plunged it through his other leg as she shouted "You killed my mate!" The man looked up at her as he head butted her and pulled the spear out as he said "I'll be sure to kill you with the same weapon to make sure you join each other soon!" As the man went to stab the spear through Ocis Thomas stood in front of her as the spear plunged through his stomach once again as he grabbed onto the spear and asked "Who told you I was dead?" Thomas pulled the spear out of his stomach as he pierced through both of the man's arms as he said "If I'm done for the count then I'm making sure you can't fight either." As Thomas pulled the spear out of his arm he tossed it to Ocis and smiled as he said "A promise is something special so be sure to keep it." Thomas fell backwards as he said "My job here is done." Ocis gripped the spear as she began to fight the other harpy as she used the spear to block the harpy's talons as she shoved the spear through the harpy's other arm. After fighting back and forth for a while Ocis managed to get a clean hit on the harpy by using the back of the spear to hit the harpy in the back of the head and knock the other harpy unconscious. Ocis dropped her spear as she ran to Thomas and held her wings over his stomach as she said "Don't bleed out you have to stay with us." Thomas coughed up more blood as he asked "What kinda request is don't bleed out?" Moments later after laying their Daisy jumped into the ring and gave Thomas standard first aid to prevent him from dying. Thomas sat up as Daisy put a hand on his back as she said "Take it easy just because I stopped the bleeding doesn't mean your fine." Thomas looked at the bandages as he seen that they were already bloody as he said "Red isn't really my color." Lily jumped onto Thomas as he fell to the ground and coughed up more blood as he smiled and said "So what brings you here?" Lily began to cry as she said "We thought you really died." Daisy picked Lily up off of Thomas as she said "Don't jump on someone who's bleeding internally!" Scarlett walked over to him as she asked "Did you get your price?" Ocis held a bag up above Thomas's head as she said "We have the price right here!" Ocis too the bag off to reveal a trophy as she said "It's the couple's win cup!" Thomas mumbled "That's so not worth being killed for." Thomas sat back up as he wiped the blood from his mouth as Daisy said "You'll need to be under twenty four hour supervision and those bandages need to be change regularly." Thomas put a hand on his stomach as he said "All this worry for this little injury?" Daisy stared at him as she said "The fact that you call that a little injury worries me." Thomas stood up as he stumbled and said "It ain't nothing a little rest can't fix." Ocis grabbed onto Thomas as she put his arm on her shoulder and said "I'm gonna make sure you don't fall!" Thomas stared at her as Scarlett walked up to Thomas as she said "I have yet to find an inn we can stay at." Thomas stared at her as Ocis said "Don't worry you can stay with me!" Thomas glanced at Ocis as they all asked "Can we really?" Ocis nodded as she let go of Thomas and began to fly as she picked him up off of the ground as Daisy shouted "You better not fly too fast or too recklessly or he might die!" Thomas stared at her as said "I'll be fine I wouldn't worry about it too much." Ocis began to fly as she said "Follow me!" As they all followed Ocis she led them to her home as they all asked her why the door was on the top of the house. Ocis didn't answer them as she lifted each of them up one by one except for Scarlett who flew up by herself. As they all went into the house Ocis introduced everyone as she explained why she looked beat up and why Thomas looked more then half dead. After explaining everything Ocis took Thomas to her bed as she laid him down and said "I'll be right back I gotta get your blood off of my wings." Thomas laid their as he stared at the roof as he mumbled "Another near death experience?" Thomas sighed as he said "I guess theirs no helping it." Moments after Ocis just left she came back as she said "You should get a bath with me so I can help you get the blood off of you!" Thomas continued to lay their as he said "Don't bother I'll get the blood off another time." Ocis walked over to Thomas as she grabbed his arm and drug him into the bathroom as she said "Come on it'll be fun!" Thomas sighed as he looked down at the bandages that were still blood red as he said "It'll just ruin the water." Ocis smiled as she said "Cleaning the blood will help you!"
