Chapter 60 - Chapter 60 The Kingdom of Meta

As the sun began to rise the person driving the boat shouted "Land Ho!" As he shouted this all of the passengers rushed onto the deck as they peered off into the distant land they were now heading to. While they all stared at the kingdom Thomas hopped up on top of the boat as he sat down and started to stare at the giant city and its massive castle. As they docked they all got off of the ship and met up on the dock. Once everyone was their on the dock together a group of guards marched up to them. Thomas stared at them as he said "Hold it I didn't do nothing wrong yet." The guards stopped as they said "Yet?" Thomas shrugged as Daisy walked up to them and said "Stand down!" The guards all began to bow as Thomas mumbled "What the hell is going on?" As the guards stood up they apologized as they said "We mean you no harm princess Daisy." As the guards said this Lily, Ocis, and Scarlett all seemed shocked as they shouted "Your a princess?" As Daisy turned around she said "I apologize for not telling you all sooner." As they all began to bow Thomas stood their as he mumbled "Why the hell are you all on the ground?" Lily glanced at Thomas as she said "You bow your head too." Thomas stared at her as he said "I don't see the point on dropping to my knees." The guards all stared at Thomas as they put their weapons up to him as they shouted "You dare disrespect the princess." Thomas stood their as he shrugged and said "Its not that I disrespect her it's that I don't see a point to all this." Daisy stepped in front of their weapons as she said "Disarm yourself you are not to harm my friends." As the guards lowered their weapons they stared at Daisy as they said "The king would like to see you." Daisy nodded as she turned to them and said "I'd take it you'd like to see me alone?" One of the guards nodded as she began to follow them. As she turned back she stared at them all as she mumbled "Why didn't Thomas seem surprised about me being a princess?" As she walked out of sight Lily began to turn to Thomas as she asked "Did you know she was royalty?" As she turned to face him she realized that he was gone and that he hadn't heard her question as she turned to Scarlett and Ocis as she asked "Did you see where he went?" They both shook their head as they said "He'll turn up eventually he usually disappears anyway." Thomas watched them all from the top of a building as he mumbled "Traveling without magic is pretty difficult to do when you try to do it undetected." Thomas looked around as he began to hop building to building as he followed Daisy. Once they arrived at the castle Thomas put on his cloak and began to scale the wall as he mumbled "Saying I didn't do anything yet to those guards might've been the right thing to say." As he reached the top of the wall he looked around as he heard two guards walking towards him. As they approached Thomas began to hang off of the wall as they passed he lifted himself back up as watched them walk away he began to run in the direction they came from. While running he found himself behind three guards as he looked around he jumped off of the wall and into some bushes as he mumbled "These guards aren't very trained." As he stood up he dashed for the main entrance as he seen Daisy and some people standing their. Thomas stopped and hid by the door as he began to eavesdrop on their conversation. As they talked Thomas heard Daisy shout something but he could only make out the word marriage. Thomas peeked into the room as he mumbled "I'm not close enough to hear them." As Thomas peered into the room four guards found him as they drew their weapons and shouted "State your business!" Thomas stared at them as he heard someone from the other room say "An assassin?" Thomas shrugged as he said "Well since you already know I'm here." Thomas pushed their blades away as he walked into the throne room and said "Looks like your guards caught me." Thomas glanced at them as he took the cloak's hood off as he did this he was surrounded by dozens of guards as said "Man you guys sure know how to make a guy feel uneasy." A man stood up from the throne as he shouted "You speak of lies you don't feel threatened in the least." Thomas shrugged as he said "And who might you be?" The man shouted "I am the king and you are trespassing into my castle!" Daisy stared at Thomas nervously as if she was telling him to be careful. Thomas stared at the king as he said "Well then your highness mind telling me what's going on?" The king began to walk towards Thomas as he shouted "Such insolence will not be tolerated!" As the king walked closer another man stepped in front of him as he said "My lord please let me deal with him." The king stared at him as he said "You shan't worry I will deal with him as you prep for your wedding with my daughter." Thomas stared at Daisy as she looked upset Thomas began to walk towards her as the king shouted "Stop him!" As the knights began to attack Daisy looked frightened as Thomas dodged through each and everyone of their attacks as he stood in front of Daisy he said "You don't seem to happy about any of this." The guards all stopped attacking as she fell to the ground and began to cry as she whispered to Thomas "I don't want to go through with the marriage." Thomas's grin faded as he turned to the man as the man shouted "Step away from the princess!" Thomas began to walk towards him as the king yelled to attack Thomas once more. Thomas began to dodge the weapons once more as he said "These guards are new." The king stared at him as he shouted "Guards kill him at once!" Thomas continued to dodge through them as he stood a few inches away from the man as he said "You certainly don't look like any Prince Charming." The man stared at the guards as he said "Stand down." The man grabbed a sword as he said "I shall dispose of you." Thomas turned around and walked up to one of the guards as he grabbed one of their swords and said "I'm gonna borrow this for a minute." Thomas put one hand in his pocket as he stared at the prince as he waved the sword around he said "Come on let's just do this already." The king and the prince both stared at Thomas as the king walked over and said "I will count this as an official duel." The prince grinned as Daisy stood up and shouted "You can't!" Thomas stared at her as he asked "What's so special about an official duel?" The king smiled as he said "The loser is sentenced to death!" Thomas smiled as he said "You guys really know how to up the stakes!" The prince's grin faded as he asked "How are you so calm about something that might kill you?" Thomas began to walk towards him as his grin faded he asked "What's so great about living?" The prince began to back up in fear as he asked "What creature doesn't fear death?" Thomas continued to walk towards him as he said "A creature with nothing to lose I suppose." The prince began to swing at Thomas as he shouted "Thats absurd!" Thomas began to block his attacks as he said "It may be absurd but it's not like I can remember what I have to live for." Thomas raised his sword and swung it down onto his shoulder as the prince shouted out in pain the sword broke as he said "How can your blade still make contact through armor." As the prince fell to the ground Thomas tossed what's left of the sword to the guard he had taken it from as he kneeled down to the ground and said "I never needed to get through your armor I just needed one good strike." Thomas stood up and walked towards Daisy as he said "Problem solved the wedding can't happen if he has to forfeit his life." The king stared at Thomas as he said "All I have to do is get rid of you and the wedding will go on as if this never happened." Thomas began to walk towards the king as he said "You wouldn't be able to stop me even if you tried." The king stared at Thomas nervously as he stared at the soldiers and said "Order as many rifles as you can to take aim and fire at this boy." Thomas began to walk away as he said "Give up on the wedding tour the only one that wants it." The king shouted "Where do you think your going!" Thomas waved as he said "Out the front door, but don't worry I'm sure I'll be back so until then prepare while you can." The king looked around at the guards as he shouted "Bring my highly trained special unit!"
