Chapter 61 - Chapter 61 Crashing Daisy’s Wedding

As Thomas left the king turned to look at his guards as he shouted "We need to prepare for when he'll be back!" The guards began to rush around as they set up various guard units and such. As the next day came Thomas waited on top of the castle staring at the rising sun as he laid their and said "Without my magic I wouldn't be up here." Thomas stared into the kingdom's garden as he seen various people setting up the wedding as he said "From here they can't make a move without me seeing." Thomas looked towards the city as he mumbled "I hope Lily, Ocis, and Scarlett listened to me and stayed near the outside of the town." As people started to arrive Thomas began to climb down toward where they were setting up the wedding. As more and more people arrived the king who was still inside the castle asked Daisy "Why don't you want to get married to the prince?" Daisy stared at him with her eyes still filled with tears as she shouted "I don't want to marry the prince!" The king stared at her as he said "This wedding has been planned for more then three years!" Daisy stared at him as she said "So what I didn't want the wedding." The king stared at her as he said "That is enough you are my daughter and you will marry the prince, now go get your wedding dress on." As Daisy walked off the prince walked up to the king as he asked "Is my sweet ready?" The king stared at him as he smiled and said "She will be ready momentarily." As the prince walked away moments later Daisy walked back up to the king as she said "I don't want to be a queen!" The king turned to her as he shouted "And why don't you want to be a queen?" She stared at him as she said "I want to be a doctor who travels the lands and helps people around the world." The king stared at her as he shouted "Once your a queen you can help thousands of people all over the world!" Daisy stomped off as she said "I want to be the one to help them I don't want to hide behind an army to help people!" The king watches as she marched off as he muttered "Where did I go wrong?" One of the maids approached him as she said "Sir Marcus I think you've done a wonderful job." The king sighed as he began to walk towards the gardens as he mumbled "That despicable boy hasn't shown up yet." As he stepped outside he walked towards the center of the garden as he shouted "Places everyone the wedding will be held shortly." Thomas peeked off of the top of the roof as he jumped down and took a seat amongst the crowd. As Thomas sat their the prince walked over to the king as he said "The wedding is gonna turn out great." Thomas stared at him as he mumbled "It might not be great but it will certainly be one to remember." As the wedding began Daisy stepped out of the castle as one of the guards escorted her to where the prince was. Thomas stared at her face as he noticed she still looked sad Thomas began to get a bit angry as he mumbled "That damn king forcing people to do whatever." As the prince and Daisy stood in the center the king began a speech. While the king was talking Thomas stood up from the crowd as he walked to the clearing in the middle as he shouted "I object, I don't think these two should get married." Daisy began to cheer up as she fell to the ground and mumbled "He'll save me!" The king stared at him as he shouted "Guards get rid of this pest!" Thomas looked around as the guards began to surround him he said "So we're doing this whole get up again?" Thomas began to stretch as he said "Ready when you are." Thomas looked around as he seen people with muskets on the roof as he pointed and said "You guys have the same weapons as those pirates." They stared at him confused as he shrugged and said "Don't think too hard about it after all it was just meant to be a distraction." They stared at Thomas as he disappeared and reappeared behind Daisy as he tapped her on the shoulder took a bow and said "Shall we." She stood up and wiped the tears off of her face as she stared at the king and yelled "Dad you can't force me to marry this prince!" Thomas grabbed her hand as he said "I only have enough mana to make a single jump and after that magic is off the table again." Thomas looked around as he said "We could be gone without a trace but I think it'll be more fun to cause an uproar in the city." Thomas picked Daisy up as he began to run down the isle he jumped over the guards and began to run through the castle as he shouted "I'm not wasting my mana on an easy escape!" Daisy grabbed around Thomas's neck as she said "I know a short cut!" Thomas looked behind him as he seen guards chasing him as he shouted "I got a short cut of my own!" Thomas began to jump off of the walls of the building and onto the top of one as he began to hop roof to roof he shouted "You'll never catch me!" Daisy held onto Thomas while he jumped roof to roof as she said "I'm sorry." Thomas stared at her as he asked "For what?" Daisy hugged him as she said "I'm sorry because after you've done this the Kingdom of Meta will surely try to hunt you down and execute you." Thomas smiled as he said "I'm looking forward to it." As Thomas turned around he seen five soldiers with muskets as he asked "They aren't gonna shoot and risk hitting you are they?" Daisy stared at them as she said "They shouldn't try and shoot." As they continued to jump towards the walls of the city the five musket men began to shoot as Thomas shouted "What the hell I thought they wouldn't risk hitting you?" Daisy grabbed onto Thomas as she shouted "We need to be careful!" Thomas shouted "You might wanna hold on tighter because this trip is about to get a lot bumpier!" Daisy squeezed Thomas as he jumped and began to do a flip as he stared behind him and smiled as he fell down to the road and landed on his feet. As he looked up he heard more bullets being fired as he stared at Daisy and began to run as he shouted "I wouldn't let go just yet!" While Thomas ran he looked around as he seen some guards chasing him with swords. Thomas continued to run as he seen a cart in front of him selling food as he jumped through it and shouted "My bad!" The man looked through the hole in his cart as he shouted "I'll get you for this!" Thomas continued to run as he seen guards in front of him as he mumbled "These damn persistent bastards." Daisy stared at him as she said "After you gave my dad that warning he made sure that all of his guards were placed around the kingdom." Thomas stared at the guards as he said "I bet they expect me to slow down." Thomas smiled as he tackled one of the soldiers and caught his weapon in his mouth as Daisy asked "What are you planning to do with that?" In a muffled voice Thomas said "That's an easy question I'm gonna prepare to fight my way out of this!" Thomas seen the gate as he turned right and began to run towards the exit at full speed as Daisy held onto Thomas even tighter as she shouted "Thank you!" Thomas dashed through the guards as he turned his head sideways and plunged it into one of the guard's chest as he let go of the sword and continued to run. As he jumped over the remaining guards blocking the gate Thomas continued to run as he seen Lily, Ocis, and Scarlett waiting for them as Thomas shouted "Run!" They all started at Thomas as a massive army began to chase Thomas even after he made it through the gates. As Thomas looked behind him he seen the king yelling at the people holding muskets as he shouted "Don't shoot you morons that man is carrying my daughter!" Thomas smiled as he shouted "Looks like we're home free!" Lily stared at him as she asked "Where to next?" Thomas smiled at her as he said "I say we follow this path and see where it takes us!" They all shouted alright as they continued to run along the path.
