Chapter 62 - Chapter 62 Fighting With Booze

As they approached the next city they noticed that a group of guards from the Kingdom of Meta was handing someone a stack of papers. As they all seen the guards Thomas walked up behind them as he looked over their shoulders and at the papers he seen that he was on them with a reward of one hundred gold coins if caught and turned into the kingdom. As the guards hand the man the papers they said "Please post these around town and alert us if you spot him." As the man grabbed the papers he looked at them and noticed that Thomas was standing right their as he pointed and said "He's behind you." Thomas waved to him as the guards began to turn around Thomas teleported in front of them as he grabbed the papers winked at the man and teleported back to Daisy, Lily, Ocis, and Scarlett and handed them the papers as he said "They don't have a clue about you guys their just after me." They all stared at him as they asked "Aren't you afraid that they'll hunt you down and kill you?" Thomas shrugged as the guards turned around he walked behind them as he waved to the man once more. The man pointed once more as he said "Their he is!" The guards stared at him as they said "We're not falling for that again." The guards looked at his hands as they said "What did you do with the posters?" As they argued Thomas and the rest of them walked into the town without being noticed by the guards as Lily walked up to Thomas and asked "Can you promise me something?" Thomas sighed as he said "As long as it's within reason." Lily smiled as she stepped back and said "You have to promise me that you won't start any fights!" Thomas stared at her as he said "I never planned to start any." Daisy walked up to Thomas as she said "It would be a good idea if you didn't fight for awhile since it would cause some unwanted attention." Thomas looked up as he said "Fine, I promise I won't fight today." Lily smiled as she said "See that wasn't so hard!" Thomas walked past her as he said "Making it isn't the issue, keeping it on the other hand completely depends on what you promised." Thomas began to walk off as he entered a bar they all looked Ocis they said "You should keep an eye on him." Ocis put her wing on her head as she said "You can count on me!" Ocis stared at them as she glanced at where Thomas had gone and said "I'll make sure he doesn't fight!" Ocis began to walk into the bar as she seen Thomas sitting at one of the seats in front of the person running the bar she walked up to him and sat down next to him. As she sat down Thomas turned to look at her as he asked "Why are you following?" Ocis stared at the person running the bar as she said "The others didn't trust you." Thomas stared at her as the bar tender sat down his drink as he mumbled "They don't trust me?" Thomas grabbed his drink as Ocis asked "What are you drinking?" Thomas raised the drink up as he drank it and set the cup back down as he said "Nothing much." Ocis stared at the cup as she said "I want one too!" Thomas stared at the person behind the bar as he said "Another." The man nodded as he brought them another cup full of the same drink. Ocis grabbed the cup with both of her wings as she raised it to her mouth and began to drink it. Thomas watched as she set the cup down and looked at Thomas as she said "It doesn't taste very good." Thomas shrugged as he stood up and said "If you don't like it here we can go somewhere else." Before Ocis could say anything else three men walked over to her as they said "We've never seen a harpy before." Thomas stared at them as they said "Why don't you come drink with us?" Thomas walked in between them as he said "Thanks but no thanks." They stared at Thomas as they said "We weren't talking to you." Thomas stared at them as he said "That doesn't matter if your gonna bother her." The three men flared at Thomas as they asked "You lookin for a fight." Thomas sighed as he said "Fighting is off the table today but I'd be more then glad to beat you at something other then fighting." Ocis stared at Thomas as she whispered "You're not gonna fight today right?" Thomas nodded as he stared at the three men. After thinking for a while the three men sat down as they said "We challenge you to a drinking contest!" Thomas sat back down next to Ocis as he said "Your on." The three men stared at Thomas as they said "It'll be us three against you." Thomas nodded as the three men looked at the person behind the bar as one of them said "Four drinks and keep them coming." As the person running the bar set the drinks down they all grabbed a cup and began to drink. Ocis sat their and watched as Thomas and the three men just kept drinking and drinking more and more alcohol. As the people in the bar started to surround them they started cheering as they started to bet money on who they thought would be the last one to pass out. The man looked around as they started to place bets on the three men as they said "The three men clearly have the advantage in numbers." Another man looked at him as he said "They May have numbers but they all have to drink the same amount of alcohol." After a few hours the three men were completely drunk and starting to pass out as Thomas drank another and slammed the cup down as he said "I W-win." Some people in the crowd began to cheer as they said "Pay up you lost the bet." Ocis stared at Thomas as he tried to stand up as he began to stumble Ocis caught him and said "Take it easy." Thomas stared at her as she began to lead him out of the bar as she said "Thank you for standing up for me." Thomas held his head as he hiccuped and muttered to himself "I'm d-definitely gonna feel this t-tomorrow." Ocis stared at him as she asked "Do you need to take a seat?" Thomas shook his head as Ocis led him around the town. After wandering around for a while they eventually found Lily, Daisy, and Scarlett as they asked "Where have you two been?" Ocis stared at them as she said "We had a run in with three men." They all stared at Thomas as Lily said "What kind of run in he's totally wasted!" Thomas glanced at them as he hiccuped Ocis said "I'll take some of the blame for this since when he tried to leave three men approached me and challenged Thomas." They all stared at Ocis as they asked "Did he fight them?" Thomas took his arm off of Ocis's shoulder as he stood up and said "I d-didn't fight anyone." Ocis nodded as she said "Its true he didn't fight anyone." Lily stared at Thomas as she said "We rented out a room at an inn so we can leave him to rest their." As they all walked back to the inn Thomas seen a wanted poster of himself on one of the buildings as he pointed and said "Hey look I'm famous." Scarlett walked up to the poster as she tore it off of the wall and said "Your not famous your drunk." Scarlett picked Thomas up and threw him over her shoulder as she said "You may not be as drunk as when you drank that dwarf's brew but don't think for a second that I'll let you out of my sight." As Thomas sat on Scarlett's shoulder he looked up as he seen Ocis following behind him as she smiled and said "I'll make sure nothing bad happens to you while your drunk." Thomas sat their on her shoulder as he said "I can w-walk." Scarlett continued to walk towards an inn as she said "I know you can but I'm not taking the chance of losing you if I set you down." Thomas looked around as they entered a building and went up some stairs and into a room. Once in the room Scarlett three Thomas onto a bed as he fell asleep almost instantly as Scarlett said "As drunk as he is now theirs no way he won't have a hangover tomorrow." They all nodded as they turned to Ocis and asked "How much did he drink?" Ocis thought about it for a while as she said "Between the four of them they drank about a four barrels worth of alcohol and Thomas drank about two barrels worth." They all stared at Thomas as they asked "How was he even able to speak in full sentences?"
