Chapter 56 - Chapter 56 Ocis’s House

Thomas stared at Ocis as he said if I get in the water it'll probably be red." Ocis grabbed him and started to drag him towards the water as she said "This is a magical type of water that can't get dirty and it's all thanks to that tree that we passed on our way over here!" Thomas continued to be drug towards the water as he tried to tell her to wait. Before Thomas could say anything Ocis threw him into the water as she said "See the water isn't red!" Thomas looked at her as he said "I meant I still have my clothes on." Ocis looked down at herself as she said "I do too I almost forgot to take mine off." Thomas stared at her as he began to take his clothes off as he mumbled "The water's going straight through me." Thomas sat down in the water as asked "Why is the bath four times larger then normal ones?" Ocis stared at Thomas confused as she said "We like to swim while we bathe." Thomas sat their dazed as he put his head back as Ocis asked him "Why do you always seem so upset when talking to my parent?" Thomas sat up and stared at her as she asked "Do you not like them?" Thomas stared back at the roof as he said "It's not that I don't like them it's just that I can't remember if I have any parents." Ocis Swam towards Thomas as she grabbed onto his arm as she asked "Why can't you remember?" Thomas shrugged as he said "Beats me." As they sat their Daisy walked into the room as she asked "Thomas are you in here?" Thomas turned to look at her as her face turned red while she said "It's time to change your bandages." Daisy walked out of the room with a bright red face as she said "I can change your bandages after your done." Thomas sat their confused as mumbled "Do other people get nervous about staring at other people naked?" Thomas laid his head back as he mumbled "I guess I'll never understand people." Ocis got out of the water as she said "We should go get your bandages changed!" Thomas stood up and got out of the water as he started to get dressed. As Thomas finished getting dressed he walked out of the room as Daisy sat their holding bandages as she said "I need to change your bandages now." Now Thomas scratched his head as he mumbled "She's fine with looking at me now?" Thomas walked towards her as she began to unravel the bandages. Thomas sat their as he mumbled "Maybe nudity bothers her." As Daisy completely unraveled the bandages Thomas looked down at the injury as Daisy said "Two stab wounds all the way through." Thomas stared at it as he asked "Do you think it would be bad if I tried to stick my hand through myself?" Daisy began to wrap fresh bandages around him as she said "Don't do that it might cause more problems." Thomas sat their as he said "Okay." After Daisy finished wrapping the injury Thomas stared at it as he said "Its staying white." Daisy nodded as she said "It should stay white for a while." Thomas began to walk away as he said "Thanks." As he entered another room he seen Ocis, Lily, and Scarlett staring at him as Lily asked "Are you alright?" Thomas shrugged as he said "I'll live." Scarlett walked up to him as she checked the bandages and said "It appears that the bleeding has slowed." Ocis jumped onto Thomas as he fell to the ground and coughed up a bit of blood. Ocis stared at Thomas as she asked "Are you ready to mate yet?" Scarlett picked Ocis up off of Thomas as she said "Don't jump on him." Thomas sat up as he wiped the blood off of his mouth as said "No." Thomas sat their as Scarlett helped him stand up. As Daisy entered the room she stared at Thomas as she said "You have to stop getting yourself hurt!" Thomas stared at her as he said "I don't think that's possible." Lily grabbed onto him as he looked down at her as she said "Please try not to get hurt." Thomas put his hand on her head as he said "Fine I'll try." Once Lily let go Thomas grabbed his satchel as he pulled out his needle and thread as he mumbled "I'm gonna have to do more patchwork on my clothing." As Thomas sat their Ocis jumped onto his back as she asked "What are you doing?" Thomas continued to fix his shirt as he said "The same thing I had to do after I met you." Ocis smiled as she said "Your fixing you clothes!" Thomas sighed as he mumbled "I wish I could get that enthusiastic over fixing clothes." As the others left Ocis's parents entered the room as they said "We heard that Ocis is gonna go with you on your adventure." Thomas continued to fix his shirt as he said "Yup." Ocis's father walked up to Thomas as he asked "You'll keep her safe won't you?" Thomas pointed to the bandages as he said "I have so far." Ocis's mother stared at Thomas as she said "I apologize for Ocis getting you impaled twice." Thomas shrugged as he said "You have nothing to apologize for." Ocis's father Walked up to Thomas as he said "I'm trusting you with my little girl you have to promise that you won't let anything happen to her." Thomas quit fixing his shirt as he fell silent as he said "I'll do my best." Thomas continued to fix his shirt as he mumbled "I can't promise something like that." As Ocis's parents left they both said "We'll trust you with her." Once they left Ocis entered the room as she asked "Do you wanna sleep yet." Thomas finished sewing the shirt as he set it down yawned and said "Sounds like a plan to me." As Thomas stood up Ocis began to lead the way as she said "This time it's definitely night." Thomas mumbled "At least she remembered." As they entered Ocis bedroom Thomas looked around as he asked "Where are the others?" Ocis laid down on the bed as she said "Their in the guest rooms." Thomas laid down as he said "I didn't realize you had guest rooms." Ocis put her wings on Thomas as she said "I'm sorry for getting you stabbed a second time." Thomas laid their as he said "It's fine, besides it isn't anything time can't heal." As Thomas fell asleep Ocis turned to look at him as she said "I won't let you die." As morning came Thomas sat up as he turned to see Ocis still asleep as he said "I guess I'm the first one up." Thomas got out of bed and snuck up onto the roof as he mumbled "Why don't they have a door closer to the ground?" Thomas looked off of the roof as he said "Jumping with these injuries would be flat out stupid." Thomas looked around as he said "I'm not gonna get anywhere if I just sit around and do nothing." Thomas looked around as he said "I'll just teleport down." As Thomas appeared on the ground he began to walk around as he found himself in a shopping district. Thomas walked into some of the stores as he said "Theirs so many different things being sold up here." Thomas began to walk around as he seen swords and spears made out of a strange white metal as Thomas stared at it the harpy running the shop approached Thomas as she said "Interested in a cloud metal sword?" Thomas stared at her as he asked "What's cloud metal?" The harpy picked it up as she said "It's like iron but it's a lot lighter and can only be obtained by harvesting it directly from the clouds." The harpy tosses the sword to Thomas as she said "Go on and give it a few swings." As Thomas swung the sword a few times the harpy said "Look at that your a natural." Thomas handed her the sword as he said "It's pretty cool but I don't really need a weapon." As Thomas left the shop the harpy waved as she said "Be sure to stop by next time your around." Thomas began to wander around the city some more as he said "Cloud metal?" Thomas shook his head as he asked "How the hell do you harvest a cloud?" Thomas continued to walk around as he soon found himself back at the tree that's been brimming with magic and that's been holding the whole island up above the ground. Thomas looked around as he seen a few harpies and theirs mates walking by as he said "This must be quite the romantic spot."
