Chapter 57 - Chapter 57 Minor Memories Revealed

As Thomas began to approach the tree he got a headache as he held his head and mumbled "What the hell is causing this pain?" Thomas continued to approach the tree as the pain grew more and more. As Thomas closed his eyes he put his hand out to catch himself as he accidentally put his hand on the tree. As he opened his eyes he noticed that the pain was gone and that he found himself face to face with himself in a strange place and in some rather unfamiliar clothes as he watched himself run and jump around as he mumbled "What is this?" Thomas approached himself as he waved his hand in front of him as he attempted to get his own attention. After not getting a response Thomas attempted to hit the him that was standing in front of him. As Thomas's hand fazed through himself Thomas backed up as he mumbled "I can't attack the other me." Thomas began to walk around as he mumbled "Maybe I can find something that'll tell me about who I am." Thomas began to walk through the forest like place as he mumbled "Wherever I am it certainly ain't Helios." As Thomas wandered around he seen himself jumping around as something was attacking the other him. Thomas rushes over to see what was going on as he seen the other him stick his arm out and crush his attacker without even touching him. Thomas came out from the forest as he kneeled down to the puddle of blood and flesh that was once a man as he mumbled "The power I had might be better off forgotten." Thomas watched as the other him vanished before his eyes as Thomas mumbled "Whatever that me just did it was different from teleportation." Thomas walked over to the spot the other him was just standing as he stared at the ground and said "He didn't leave any footprints either." Thomas stared up into the sky as he seen the other him standing in the air as Thomas mumbled "I could fly?" As Thomas stared at him the ground below him began to disappear as he found himself plummeting to the ground. As he fell he noticed that the place he was falling seemed familiar. As he fell he looked around as he seen the original Demi human village as he continued to fall Thomas heard people calling his name. As Thomas looked around he mumbled "I'm falling from the sky and hearing things." Once Thomas hit the ground he looked around as he seen his hand still on the tree as Lily, Scarlett, Daisy, and Ocis called his name. Thomas glanced at each of them as he asked "Need something?" Scarlett nodded as she said "We would like to know why you were staring intently at this tree for over an hour." Thomas took his hand off of the tree and put it onto his head as he mumbled "What the hell was that?" Ocis put her wing on Thomas's head as she asked "Why were you staring at the tree?" Thomas walked away without giving them an answer as he mumbled "Maybe if I make those clothes it'll point me into the right direction." Thomas waved to them as he walked away and said "I'll be back in a moment." As Thomas vanished Ocis looked at them as she asked "Does he do this often?" Lily nodded as she said "He does this every now and then." Ocis began to fly as she said "We should start searching for him!" Lily shook her head as she said "He teleported away theirs no telling how far he went." Ocis landed as she said "Okay then how about we go shopping!" They all agreed to go shopping until Thomas got back as they began to march towards the shopping district. As Thomas appeared he thought about the clothing he seen himself wearing as he remembered it being a hooded shirt with pockets and an opening in the middle. As Thomas walked into the clothing shop he looked around as he asked the harpy running the shop if they had any black and purple cloth. The harpy running the shop went into the back as she came out with bright purple and black material as Thomas said "I'll buy it." As Thomas got the material Lily, Daisy, Scarlett, and Ocis walked in as they stared at Thomas and asked "What are you doing?" Thomas shown them the material as he said "I'm making something that I can just barely remember." Scarlett walked up to Thomas as she asked "So you've finally remembered something?" Thomas thought about the power he seen himself use to crush the man as he said "I remembered something but I can't say for sure if it's a good thing or not." As Thomas vanished once more Scarlett stared at the rest of them confused as she asked "What do you think he remembered?" They all shrugged as Lily said "I'm sure he'll tell us when he's ready." As Thomas reappeared he turned around and seen the tree as he sat down and began to turn the cloth into a modern day jacket. As it took form it had black sleeves with purple near the hands and a mostly black torso except for the pockets witch were purple. As Thomas sewed the hood on it was a purple cloth as looked at the tree and mumbled "After putting this much effort into this thing I better make sure I don't destroy it." Once Thomas finished making it he put it on as he said "Good it fits like a glove." Thomas began to stretch as he said "Not too tight but just about right." After Thomas finished stretching he walked up to the tree as he put his hand on it and mumbled "This jacket may be different from the ones made in this world but unfortunately it doesn't seem like it'll help me remember anything else." As Thomas turned around he seen Lily, Daisy, Scarlett, and Ocis all standing their as they asked "Did you do what you needed too?" Thomas nodded as he said "Yup just a dead end." Scarlett walked up to Thomas as she said "So you didn't find out anything." Thomas looked at them as he said "That may be for the best." Ocis began to fly into the air as she asked "You guys are adventures right?" Thomas stared at her as he nodded and said "We're more so misfits when it comes to adventuring but for the most part yeah." Ocis dives down and picked Thomas up as she began to fly towards the edge of the island as everyone else followed. As they reached the edge Ocis set Thomas down as she said "Theirs a near by boat that picks up passengers in the morning that takes people across the sea!" Thomas looked off into the distance as he seen a small town with a dock as Lily stood beside him and said "We should all go!" Thomas stared at the town as he said "Its still morning so why don't we go?" Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "That boat will leave in less then an hour." Thomas stared at them as he said "Do me a favor and hold hands real quick." They all stared at him confused as Thomas grabbed onto them and mumbled "I'm teleporting five people well over one hundred yards." Thomas stared at the town as he asked "Are you all ready for our next adventure?" They all nodded as they said "We're always ready for adventure Thomas sighed as he said "After I teleport us all I'm gonna need someone to catch me incase this burns through all of my mana." Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "I'll catch you." Thomas stared at her as he said "That would normally be reassuring but can somebody else do it?" Ocis stared at him as she asked "Why can't I catch you?" Thomas stared at her as he said "You can but I really don't think you'll remember." Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "Just trust me I won't let you fall." Thomas sighed as he shrugged and said "Fine I'll trust you." Thomas stared at them as he said "We'll teleport on the count of three." They all nodded as Thomas began to count down. As Thomas said zero they all teleported to the town as they arrived Thomas fell on his face as he mumbled "This is why I wanted somebody else to catch me." Scarlett picked Thomas up as she threw him over her shoulder as Ocis asked "Why did you fall on your face?" Thomas stared at her as he said "You were suppose to catch me." Ocis stared at him as she said "That's right I was suppose to catch you." Thomas stared at her as he said "Let me guess you forgot right?" Ocis nodded as they all began to run towards the boat as they reached the docks they all began to run towards the boat as they shouted "Don't leave yet!" As they arrived at the boat they all paid five slivers each as the boat set off and began to head towards a new part of the world for our crew to explore!
