As Thomas looked at Ocis he said "I'll trust you know where we're going?" Ocis raised her feather and put it up to her head as she said "You can count on me." Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "I doubt that." As Ocis began to walk she said "Follow me this way!" Thomas shrugged as he said "Alright lead the way." While they walked around Ocis shown Thomas around the city while telling him about it. While walking they walked up to a giant tree. Thomas stopped walking as he asked "What's up with the tree?" Ocis smiled as she said this tree is as old as the island!" Thomas reaches his hand out and stuck it too the tree as he felt a surge of energy pass through his body as he said "This tree is filled to the brim with mana." Ocis smiled as she said "This tree is what keeps our island floating." Thomas removed his hand as he looked at her and said "Just being near the tree is enough to make me feel energized." Thomas stared at his hands as he mumbled "This amount of mana should take days to recover and here it's been replenished in just a few moments." Ocis stared at Thomas as she asked "Are you alright?" Thomas put his hands down as he said "Im better then alright!" Thomas stared at her as he asked "Anywhere else you wanna show me?" Ocis smiled as she said theirs a few places!" As they continued to walk around they found Lily, Daisy, and Scarlett as they asked him "Did you find a way to get rid of her?" Thomas sighed as he said "Not really but it's progress." They stared at Ocis as they asked "What's your definition of progress." Thomas yawned as he said "I don't have to mate with her." Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "I'm ready to mate when you are!" They all stared at Thomas as he nervously said "Hold it I haven't done anything!" Ocis walked up to Thomas as she grabbed onto his arm and said "I agreed to mate with him when he's ready!" They all stared at Ocis as Thomas sighed and said "This is gonna be a long day." Ocis let go of Thomas's arm as she said "I know where we can go!" Thomas sighed as he said "Just lead the way." Ocis grabbed his arm and started to drag him as he said "Slow down we're not in a rush." Ocis smiled as she said "If we wanna make it to the last thing I wanna do we have to hurry!" Thomas yawned as he mumbled "The tree may have gotten rid of my mana fatigue but I'm still tired." Ocis continued to drag Thomas as the others followed behind as they followed Ocis all the way to a large open field that was filled with harpies. Thomas stared at the harpies as he asked "What are they all doing?" Ocis continued to drag Thomas closer as she said "All of these harpies don't have mates so their training super hard so when the next male appears the strongest will fight him and if the male wins they will mate!" Thomas stared at her as he asked "What happens if the male loses?" Ocis nervously looked away as she said "He dies for not being strong enough." Thomas stared at her as he asked "So you were really gonna kill me?" Ocis shook her head as she said "It's customary for harpies it's nothing personal!" Thomas sighed as he said that's fine and all but what happens when the harpy dies?" Ocis said "If you would've killed me the second strongest harpy would've mated with you." Thomas mumbled "Tough life to fight and die for the sake of someone elses happiness." Ocis glanced at the harpies who were training as she asked Thomas "Do you wanna try our harpy training routine?" Thomas stared at them as he said "Why not if it's better then what I normally do I can do that to get stronger." Daisy stared at him as she said "Punching a boulder is not training it's just harming your body." Thomas looked at his fists as he said "From what I can see they don't look too bad." Daisy shouted "That's because he'll you with them whenever you over do it and come back bloody!" Thomas shrugged as he said "I refuse to lose to Toby." Ocis stared at Thomas as she asked "Whose Toby?" Lily stared at Ocis as she said "Toby is a hero from another world who almost killed Thomas." Daisy stared at Thomas as she punched him in the arm as she asked "Why didn't you tell me about you almost dying?" Thomas shrugged as he said "Just didn't think being impaled was that important at the time." Ocis looked excited as she said "You we're impaled before!" Daisy stared at her as she said "Don't encourage him." Ocis smiled as she said "Well then why don't we all give my harpy training a try?" They all nodded in agreement as they looked at Ocis and said "Alright let's give this training a try." Ocis stood up as she said "First began flying." Thomas stared at her as she said "I forgot you guys can't fly." Scarlett stared at her as she sprouted wings and asked "What next?" Ocis looked surprised as she said "Now we tie weights to our feet and fly around so we can build our physical strength!" Thomas sat down and watched them fly back and forth as they both flew around with weights on as Scarlett said "I will have to give this training a try everyday if I want results." Ocis smiled as she landed and said I got one last place I want to show you guys!" Thomas stared at her as he asked "And where might that be?" Ocis smiled and said "Its a surprise!" Thomas shrugged as he said "Lead the way." They all began to follow Ocis through the city once more as they entered a giant building. Thomas looked around as he asked "When are we gonna find out about this surprise?" Ocis opened a rather large door as she said "We're gonna watch other people fight!" Thomas followed her in as he mumbled "Fighting seems to be a big topic for harpies." As they all sat down Ocis began to cheer as Thomas stared into the arena as he asked "Is it just one big brawl?" Ocis said "Eight contestants battle it out until only two are left." Thomas continued to watch as Ocis stood up and said "I'll be back in a moment." Thomas watched as she walked away he mumbled "Why only two left why not one." As Ocis came back Thomas asked her "Why fight until only two remain?" Ocis smiled as she said "That's another surprise!" As the fights ended a loud female voice said "Couple number three is victorious!" Thomas stood up as he said "I understand the requirements now." Ocis began to fly as she picked Thomas up and said "Come on we're next!" Thomas looked shocked as he said "Wait what?" As Ocis flew into the arena with Thomas she dropped him and said "When I left I was signing us up!" Thomas stood up as he shook more dirt off of himself as he mumbled "I wanted a break." Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "Its us against three other harpies and three other species that we don't know." Thomas sighed as he said "You seem pretty excited about all of this." Ocis put her wing behind her head as she said "I haven't been able to participate because I didn't have a mate up until now." Thomas yawned as he looked up at Lily, Daisy, and Scarlett as he said "I'll be back up their with you in a moment." Scarlett stared at him as she asked "Are you really gonna go through with this?" Lily stared at Scarlett as she said "He's gonna be awesome!" They all waved as Lily shouted "We'll be cheering for you!" Thomas threw up his satchel as he said "Hold onto that." Thomas turned to Ocis as he shrugged and said "Let's just get this over with." Ocis grabbed Thomas's arm as she began to pull him while saying "We need to hurry it's about to start!" As they arrived at the center Thomas looked around as he seen three other harpies and three humans as he leaned over and sniffed Ocis." Ocis stared at him embarrassed as she asked "W-What are you doing?" Thomas continued to sniff her as he said "Just making sure I don't lose you if you run off." Ocis stood their as she asked "How does this help you?" Thomas quit sniffing her as he said "I got your scent memorized." Ocis fell to the ground as she said "My legs!" Thomas held out his hand as he said "Looks like you were so embarrassed they gave out." Ocis grabbed his hand as she yelled "Give me a warning next time!" Thomas said "Next time?" Thomas pulled her to her feet as he said "I won't forget your scent so don't worry their won't be a next time." Ocis blushed as she stared at the ground and mumbled "He said he won't forget me."
