Jang Ok Jung, known as the Ming Princess found love on the streets of Joseon, little did she know that the love of her life was a Royal Prince but a son of a concubine. 
  When she was asked to marry the prince, she thought of it carefully, observing the fights going on between the Queen and the Royal noble consort, the both of them had  sons who are rivals, they urge for power to be the crown prince. 
   A lot of things were involved, she knew she was going to walk on egg shells when she chose to marry the son of a concubine instead of the queen’s son. But she allowed the love in her heart for the prince prevail, she took on the challenge to marry him. 
    Since her father is the richest minister in Joseon, and her  maternal grandfather is the great Ming emperor, Ok Jung thought it was going to be easy  to support her lover and probably make him the crown Prince.
     But the entire story changed the moment she entered the palace for the very first time  in her life. Her husband to be, didn’t need power to rule, but to survive, and the only way to escape death for herself and loved ones, is to sit at GYOTAEJEONG.
