The entire area was stunned by the fact that Sinoca had been dominating the fight so far. Many of the rebels have never seen their boss so much as be challenged in a fight before. Yet, here this human managed to hit him with a shot to bring him to his knees. Yet, the next thing to happen also caught them by surprise, as Khoros began laughing. Khoros got to his feet, still laughing at what had just happened.
"I guess you are right," Khoros said, "I severely underestimated you. A mistake, I won't make again." Sinoca got in a fighting position. She could tell that Khoros' demeanor was much more serious. She, too, was ready to get more serious. Khoros charged in again, but this time he was much more deliberate with his attack. He was punching with two arms at a time, while at the same time keeping two arms back to ensure that he could defend Sinoca's counterattacks. Sinoca was doing the same strategy of blocking while once again looking for an opening, but this time the attacks were much harder to read. There didn't seem to be any pattern to the attacks, or which arm would stay back for defense. Not seeing where she could attack, she dodged behind Khoros and attempted to jab him in the back with the staff. However, Kyoto's was fast enough, and he managed to block it with his arms. Sinoca got more aggressive, trying to hit Khoros with multiple attacks, but Khoros managed to block all of them. Sinoca had the speed advantage, but the four arms of Khoros made it hard for her to penetrate. Khoros tried to counter, but Sinoca made sure not to leave herself open, as she managed to block the counter punches. As she did, she kicked one of the arms and tried to trip Khoros with her staff. Sinoca hit his leg, but as he stopped himself from falling, Sinoca attempted to kick him. Khoros blocked the kick, but Sinoca's power made him back up a bit. Sinoca felt like she was in control, but she was a bit overzealous. She left herself open for the first time in the fight. Khoros did not miss his opportunity. He hit Sinoca with a counter uppercut right under the chin. As Sinoca started to fall back, Khoros started to hit her with multiple punches. Boy holding back, he punched her repeatedly with every arm before finishing the assault with a two-handed smash. Sinoca hit the ground hard. All of Khoros' men started to cheer and celebrate. Inamaru had a concerned look on his face.
"Khoros, you went too far!" Inamaru yelled. Khoros scoffed.
"This lowly human tried to challenge me here," Khoros said, "she's lucky that I didn't kill her." The ref demon went over to Sinoca, ready to call the match.
"Well, and here I was not using my sword to make sure you didn't die," Karasu said. The entire crowd gasped. Sinoca was back on her feet, ready for more. Khoros looked at her, and snickered.
"Have it your way kid," Khoros said, charging in. He tried to punch Sinoca, but she dodged and countered with a quick strike with her staff. Angrily, Khoros tried to counter with a couple of strikes, but Sinoca dodged them. She used her staff to attack but as Khorod blocked it, Sinoca managed to kick him in the face. Khoros stumbled. As Sinoca prepared her followup attack, Khoros attempted to punch her twice. Not only did Sinoca dodge both punches, but she also managed to get around Khoros' defenses and hit him with multiple hits with her staff. Khoros continued to try to block and attack, but Sinoca was too quick. She was much more focused than before. It was as if she went into another gear. She was not only dodging every attack, but she was also penetrating his defense. Sinoca hit Khoros with a five-hit combo, knocking him to the ground. Khoros was getting frustrated. How could this mere human dominate him like this? He was the strongest person he knew. How could he so overmatch? Khoros was angrily punching the ground. The rest of his squad was saddened to see their leader like this. Khoros rose to his feet, and once again charged at Sinoca. Yet he was not very controlled. Sinoca wisely avoided the attacks. Slowly and methodically, she continued to counter him. Each hit harder than the last. Khoros couldn't accept what was going on, so in a last ditch effort, he left himself completely open as he attacked, but Sinoca dodged. She jumped past Khoros and managed to hit him in the back of the head. Khoros fell to the floor, knocked out. The fight was over. The entire area was stunned. Even Inamaru was looking with his mouth wide open. Every one of them had tried their hand at taking out Khoros, but they all failed. Suddenly, a human, a species they thought of as weak, showed up and took them all out. Sinoca simply sat down right in front of the fallen body of Khoros.
"I'll wait here until he comes to," Sinoca said smugly. Slowly, most of the others dispersed. After several minutes, Khoros started to wake up. The first thing he saw when he woke up was Sinoca smiling at him.
"So, do I have your respect now?" Sinoca asked, offering her hand to pick him up. Begrudgingly, Khoros accepted the hand, and Sinoca helped him to his feet.
"You win," Khoros said, "but I doubt you ca take us all out human. I'll never let you have our territory."
"I don't want your territory man," Sinoca asked. "All I want is to take the DCU down. So can you help me with that." Sinoca extended her hand. Khoros stared at it for a moment before shaking it.
"I can agree with that," Khoros answered. "You know, I never lost a fight here before. It's humbling."
"What can I say," Sinoca said," I'll admit you brought the best out of me. I look forward to the rematch. Khoros laughed.
"Inamaru will show you where you are staying," Kyoto's said, "I feel like the best is yet to come."
