When Sinoca saw Inamaru was missing, she thought of checking at the area where the DCU would have their knight trails. She immediately ran over to the area where the exams were said to be taking place. However, there was one problem: Sinoca did not have an exact location. The best she could do is go to the area and hope to either find where the fighting is taking place, or to find Inamaru before the DCU finds him. As she searched the area, she was having trouble finding the area where everything was taking place. Suddenly, she heard the roar of a werewolf. Sinoca immediately followed the sound of the roar. As she got closer, she saw a huge mountain. It was like it was hidden somehow. She ran up the mountain as fast as she could, still hearing the noises from the fighting that was taking place. Sinoca knew she wasn't too late, but she also knew she had to hurry. When she got to the top, Sinoca quickly surveyed the scene. He saw the knight fighting Inamaru and another knight charging with their spear. Quickly, Sinoca charged in, quickly killing the knight, charging forward. The other knight was caught off guard, leaving him open for Inamaru, who tried to bight his neck. The knight snapped out of his trance just in time and managed to roll out of the way, retreating to the side of the general.
"A....human?" The general asked in surprise as Sinoca spun her blade around quite confidently. The soldiers started to murmur to themselves.
"I know her, that's Sinoca!"
"I guess the rumors are true, she did choose to side with the demons."
"Sinoca! Why would you betray us?!"
"What kind of mad person sides with demons?" All the cries from the soldiers were hard for Sinoca to hear, but she stayed focused as she had her blade out and her guard ready.
"Are you okay?" Sinoca asked, not losing her gaze on the general.
"Yeah I'm fine," Inamaru nodded.
"So! You are working with this.....beast huh little girl," the general said, walking forward. "Let this be a lesson to you soldiers, not all of our enemies will be Demons." Confidently he drew his blade. "They say you were some sort of prodigy, that you were supposed to be here for this fight, why do you betray us like this, so you father's memory mean nothing to you."
"Don't you speak about my father!" Sinoca yelled. "Not after what you guys did to him!" The general chuckled before he turned to his knight.
"You take out the demon, I'll punish the traitor." The knight nodded as he and Inamaru continued their fight. The general then readied himself for combat as well. The general charged at Sinoca. Their blades matched each other with every slash in the beginning. Every clash echoed through the mountains. Sinoca closed the distance, ducking under the sword, attempting to trip the general, who jumped over the sweep. The general then tried to slash downward, but Sinoca blocked it with the blade and returned fire with a spin kick. The funeral blocked it, but he was pushed back by her strength. Sinoca twirled her blade again before getting back in position. The general was baffled. Sinoca wasn't even 20 yet, but she still bested him in a fight, at least for a round. He could not accept this as he attacked again. Once again, they started out with their blades matching one another, still Sinoca was in complete control as she started to turn up the pressure on the general. Speeding up her attack until the general was on his back foot. The general tried his best to keep up, but Sinoca was too fast. She swung the base twice. The general dodged the first and blocked the second with his blade but was then kicked in the gut, then hit in the face with a spinning backhand. As the general stumbled, Sinoca ran after him to follow up. The way she charged at him, it looked as if she led herself open. The general tried to take advantage of that, attempting to pierce Sinoca with a stab. Unfortunately for him, Sinoca spun around the attack and in a fluid motion she used her katana to slice the general's head off. Everyone who was watching was stunned, but Sinoca was not done. She immediately chased after the knight fighting Inamaru. The fight was even, but the moment that Sinoca charged at him, the knight tried to retreat. Sinoca was too fast, she cut him of, as the knight tried to fight, but in a flash, Sinoca disarmed the knight and stabbed him in the chest. The rest of the soldiers cowered in fear after seeing this display. They knew they were powerless.
"Thanks for the save," Inamaru said, a bit of shame in his voice.
"We will discuss this when we get home," Sinoca said.
"What do you want to do with them?" Inamaru asked, looking towards the frightened soldiers.
"They have no idea who they work for, they know not to attack us," Sinoca reasoned, "there is no reason to kill them."
"They do know about us now," Inamaru said.
"Yeah, but they're innocent," I want to save humanity, these people are the future." Inamaru and Sinoca started to walk away, but one of the soldiers couldn't stop himself from calling out to Sinoca."
"Why did you betray us?!" He yelled. "Why are you helping this demon?! How dare you say it's you want to save humanity!!" Sinoca stopped and turned around, making all the soldiers back up in fear. With fire in her eyes, Sinoca got right in the heckler's face.
"How about you learn who you really work for, before you judge me," Sinoca said in a hushed tone before she and Inamaru returned home. As they arrived at the in , Sinoca got right in Inamaru's face.
"What were you thinking?!" Sinoca yelled, "you could have been killed!"
"I'm sorry," Inamaru said with his head down. "I just wanted to prove myself."
"I already lost everyone, I'm not ready to lose you too!" Sinoca said, tears in her eyes. Inamaru pulls her in for a hug. Initially, Sinoca tries to fight it, but eventually she gives in.
"I'm sorry, i won't do something stupid like that again," Inamaru said. "For now on, I'll always be by your side."k
