The following evening, an airplane landed at the FCO airport in Rome, the capital city of Italy. Everyone alighted from the airplane. Lucia and Laura walked out of the airport wearing glasses and got into a taxi. The taxi drove them away while Wallace and Emilia walked out of the airport.
"I have to go to the branch for my job, while you do your job around here. When there's time, let's meet and tour the city," Emilia said.
"Okay," Wallace nodded his head. Emilia got into a car that had been prepared for her, while he got into a taxi.
"Maurinez Plaza," he told the driver, and the driver drove him off.
Meanwhile, the taxi that Laura and Lucia were in got hijacked by a dark van, and the two of them were kidnapped. Not long after, another three vans appeared and chased after the van, but the van that had kidnapped them had the advantage. The chase continued until they got to a roundabout where vans rushed out from the four streets and obstructed the three vans, allowing the van to escape.
Inside the van, the man driving connected to a call while Laura and Lucia were seated at the back with dark bags covering their faces.
"We've successfully kidnapped them," the guy said to his earpiece.
The cab Wallace took dropped him at the Maurinez Plaza. It's a modern building but without an elevator, and it only has two floors. The ground floor is where shops and other convenience areas are, while the top floor consists of apartments. Wallace walked down from the cab, and a man walked towards him. The man is a fairly handsome Italian man.
"Welcome, Mr. Wallace," he said as he helped him with his bag.
"I'm Antonio Carlos," he introduced himself. The man is from the underground international network of the Carlos family, and he is their boss. It's quite surprising to see that he can achieve so much at such a young age.
"What about the consigliore?" Wallace asked.
"She's inside the enemy's den for an important mission," Antonio answered.
"Please, can I ask what the mission is?" Antonio asked.
Wallace turned to look at him. "We're back in Italy to take the family business and start everything, and I don't have much time. I want to clear all obstacles in the way quickly so that we can fully start operating in this country. Other countries will be a piece of cake then," he answered.
The man's mouth twitched when he heard that. The Carlos family is being chased by the three top mafia families in the country, and even the Italian government doesn't want them to rise again, not to mention the countless underground medium and small families that want a piece of the cake. It can be said that the family, ever since their leader died, has no chance of rising for the next three decades, but Wallace just analyzed everything like it's child's play.
The guy looked at Wallace skeptically.
"This building is where the reckoning file and the assets are," Antonio said.
"Yes, ninety percent of the Carlos family assets that have been accumulated from generation to generation, numbering up to two hundred billion dollars, are in here," he said.
"Okay," Wallace nodded.
"When are we going to move them out, because she told me that you can get into the room?" Antonio asked.
"Not now, let's get the family up first and let the business start running. We don't need them for now. As long as we can get the assets frozen in the bank to start working, we won't need it for the meantime," Wallace answered.
They entered the building and saw the tenants there.
"Have you found another plaza?" Wallace asked.
"Yes," Antonio answered.
"Let's have a meeting with the tenants tomorrow, then. By the end of the week, they must move out of the building," Wallace said.
"Won't that make it obvious that there's something wrong with this building?" Antonio asked.
"That's the message I want to pass across. Let them come for me," Wallace answered.
"Ah," the guy sighed.
"She also said that there's a problem with this building," Antonio said.
"Hmm, the Ostovos Civil Engineering company already brought the street, except for this building. They want to renovate everything," Antonio said.
"In fact, they are after me to get the deed of the house from me," he answered.
"We are not selling the house. Tell them that. If there's anything, let them gun for me, the owner," Wallace answered.
"Hmm," the guy nodded, while waves ran through his mind as he felt skeptical.
"We are on the way to extinction like this," he thought.
"What about our men that are underground?" Antonio asked.
"Let them be for now," Wallace answered, as they reached the upper floor.
"This is your apartment," Antonio told him.
"What about the stuff?" Wallace asked.
"They're inside," Antonio answered
"The car?" Wallace asked.
"This is the key, it's in the parking lot," Antonio answered.
"Okay then, see you tomorrow morning," Wallace collected the key and entered the house. He entered and unpacked his box; he had already fully recovered earlier in the plane when he slept. Sleeping makes the recovery faster.
He went to the box that's on the table in the living room and opened it. Inside are two pistols. One of the pistols is dark with silver linings on its body, it has a rectangular shape with rounded edges featuring a distinctive teardrop shape. It's the Desert Eagle Mark XIX pistol, one of the deadliest pistols in the world. While the second one, which is the Taurus Raging Bull, has a dark body with a large frame revolver, ported barrel, and ported grip.
There are close to fifty cartridges for each gun, and each cartridge can shoot seven rounds before having to be replaced. He smiled as he held the two guns, and it felt comfortable in his hand.
"I will be bombing a place tonight," he said.

Meanwhile, the van that Laura and Lucia are in drove to the Sabine Hills, a rural area that is northeast of Rome. It has hills and very little population because of the living conditions of the hills. The car drove to a facility that has been built there. It entered the gate and towards the villa that has been built there.
The two were brought down from the car and were taken into the villa, where a middle-aged man was waiting. The bag was removed from their heads as they looked at the man sitting there.
"What a surprise, the mayor is the first one to get to us," Laura said, as she sat on the chair.
"Well, I have no choice. The properties you have are of importance, and since the head of the family is dead, you should just surrender and hand them down. You should know what I'm talking about," the man said.
"Oh, what should I hand over?" Laura asked.
"You know the reason you had to run away from the country. To be honest, the government is the only one that can save you now. We'll give you enough compensation, and even allow you to start pursuing your law career for the government. You'll be allowed to enter the presidential exclusive office," he answered.
"Looks like you are all bent on taking this from me," Laura said.
"But I'm in the mafia. I might not be very smart, but I know that immediately I hand the deeds over, you will kill me. Come on, I'm not a baby," she said.
"You should trust us," the man said.
"Trust is not what should be given to scums like you," Laura answered.
"You know your head would not have died if not for his foolish stubbornness. He is getting on others' nerves, so they had to work together to take him out of the way. You're already following his footsteps. Do you think you can restart the family under the supervision of the government here? You're very wise, and a wise man knows how to submit to the situation, so you should not make yourself suffer like this. We did not kill him, so we will be on your side. You are not a threat to us," the man said.
Laura scoffed and did not talk.
"Looks like you want to have blind loyalty," he said, as he sighed.
"Take her to the warehouse," he said. "I will come back when I've finished dealing with what I have to deal with, and we'll have all the time to talk when I arrive. But I will like to warn you. I have limited patience, so I will give you this night to think about this."
He said, "Know that you are in our den, and since you are in this country, you won't be allowed to leave again," as he left.
Wallace scoffed when he heard that on his earpiece. He wore dark trousers coupled with a dark shirt and hat. He looked at the coat he hung. Inside the coat are two guns holders that hold the two guns, and there are close to twenty cartridges hanging on either side of the coat. The left side is holding the Taurus Raging Bull, while the right side is holding the Desert Eagle Mark XIX.
