Chapter 24 - CHAPTER 24: FIGHT

Using the GPS and his connection with the two, Wallace drove the dark Benz jeep out of the compound. The jeep itself was only worth a couple hundred thousand dollars, but the modifications done to it had made it surpass a million-dollar car. Because of the modifications done to it, one of the headlights in the front had to be removed to make it have sufficient air intake. It could be said that the Benz jeep was only a model for it now; its exterior was that of the Benz product, but its interior was vastly different.

He drove to the Sabine Hills in the outskirts of the town, and when he was some distance away from the villa, he turned the lights off, making the car meld with the night. Except for the sound of the engine roaring, it could not be seen again. He arrived opposite the villa, making sure it was some distance away from the villa before getting down. Donning a black coat and black hat, he walked towards the gate of the villa.

His clairvoyant ability had already been spread out, covering the part of the villa, and in that part of the villa that had been covered, he counted up to thirty guards. He went to another side of the villa and continued for three times before he was able to count close to ninety guards around the whole mansion. Laura and Lucia were in the villa with ten guards looking after them. They looked at the time; it was already late into the night. They looked at themselves and smiled. The connection was deepening, so they knew that their boss must have arrived.

Gathering his force in his fist, the ground cracked, and he propelled himself upward, latching onto the fence. This was the only blind spot in the villa. It was a blind spot because it only had two people guarding it, their backs turned to each other, and there was no CCTV camera there, as they deemed that it was not important for this side of the villa.

Using his hands, he pushed himself upward and landed on the fence, and with a fluid movement, he landed on the other side behind a guard. "Crack" - even though he tried to regulate the force, the head still turned three hundred and sixty degrees and turned back due to the skin. It swung back and forth. The guard fell to the ground. Before the second one could turn back, his neck had already been broken. This time, he achieved what he wanted, as the head only turned one hundred and eighty degrees.

He had already seen where the power source of the apartment was, and with his ability, it made it easier for him to navigate the area, even though he still had to make some detours and kill up to seven guards on his way there. He still got there without being discovered. He finally got there and turned the switch off. There was a blackout in the whole apartment, making the whole guards alert.

With tactical understanding, those closer to the place went there in an orderly manner, but when they were at the stairs, "Click, Bang" - the trigger was pulled as two guns were shot at once. The sound echoed through the whole villa, and two people fell. "Bang, Bang" - a series of sounds echoed through the room, and the remaining eight guards fell.

Tentacles extended from his body and plunged into the dead bodies. He put the gun in his left hand back, as close to twenty guards were heading towards his direction at that time, and more were heading towards his direction. There was no way for him to escape for now.

"Team one, are you there?" the leader of the guards called out, but there was no answer. He rushed there with the guards. Wallace took out a round thing from the inner pocket of his coat and uncorked it. He threw it towards the incoming guards, and smoke gushed out, covering the whole space in a minute, obstructing the sense of the guards.

The smoke obstructed their senses; she shot out the Taurus bull in his hand for eight rounds, and it took down eight of them. With his sharp eyesight and clairvoyant ability, he was able to accurately sense them. He changed the cartridge as he continued moving around like a phantom in the smoke, making sure not to get close to them. His strength now was horrifying, and he did not want to engage in close-quarter combat with them.

"Bang, Bang" - he shot out another round. The remaining, seeing that they could not do anything, retreated out of the smoke range, but bullets still flew out from the smoke, hitting their heads occasionally. Terrified at the sharp shooter, they all rushed back out of the known range of the pistol, but close to twenty of them had been taken down immediately.

"Spread out as far as you can from the smoke," the man commanded, as they bombarded every inch of the space the smoke covered. Soon, there was no activity in the smoke again. The head called out for them to halt and told three to slowly make their way towards the smoke.

The three made their way towards the smoke, but another round object came flying out again, and within the span of two seconds, another three came flying out. Wallace, who had already located a window, rushed towards the window and jumped out of it. He landed on the floor and rolled.

"Boom, Boom, Boom" - Four different explosions were heard as the whole room, due to the explosion, killed everyone inside and in the vicinity. He dared to do this because Laura and Lucia had already made their way out of the villa and were waiting at the gate.

Cracks spread round the house. Tentacles extended from his back into the explosion, finding the souls roaming and absorbing them as he made his way towards the gate, while occasionally shooting down the remaining guards. By the time he got to the gate, no one in the house was spared.

He threw a series of grenades on the floor as they made their way out of the gate. "Boom" - The house behind them turned to rubble. "Hmm" - Wallace squinted his eyes.

"Nice reaction," he thought. Reinforcement had almost arrived.

"Vroom" - A dark jeep pulled up.

"Get in," he said, as he got into the driver's seat. Lucia and Laura opened the door.

"Bang, Bang" - Gunshots were heard as they made their way in, but it was a little late, as a bullet hit Laura's shoulder before she got in.

"Are you okay?" he asked. "No problem, my body is more resilient since the second evolution; the bullet only pierced into my skin," she answered.

"Hmm" - he nodded, as the car took off.

"They are taking off; make sure you block every known route they can use to leave this road," the leader of the reinforcement commanded, as three cars chased from behind and shot the car, but the bullet bounced off.

Wallace pressed a button, and the backlight of the car separated, and two barrels pointed out from them and shot.

"Hmm" - Wallace frowned. There's another car coming in front of them.

"May take over," he said, as he left the steering wheel, and the top of the car opened. The only headlight in front of the car also opened, and "Bang, Bang" started shooting the car in front. He stood on the seat, as his head popped out, followed by two guns.

"Bang, Bang" - He shot the driver's glass, but it's bulletproof. It only cracked. "Bang, Bang" - He shot another three times on the same spot. "Puchi" - The driver, not expecting the terrifying accuracy, was shot in the head. The car swerved to the right, and he shot the fuel tank. "Boom" - It exploded.

Wallace got back into the car, as the car passed through the fire, while the other two had to stop. The car continued driving until they almost got to an intersection.

"These people have insanely terrifying reaction time," he said, as he was surprised.

"We're in their territory, and they're always ready for any unexpected moments," Laura said.

"Brakes" - He called out. The car came to a halt some seconds later, just before it got to the intersection.

"Bang" - Two trucks making their way from opposite sides collided. A loud bang was heard due to the collision.

The car turned and zoomed off, driving to the end of the truck before it turned and continued on its way. The car drove straight for five minutes before it headed into a forest. At the same time, the trucks that were waiting at the junctions were dumbfounded, as they did not expect it to make its way into the forest.

Four trucks followed suit into the forest, but they could not get far, as their tires were punctured, and they were stuck between trees. The drivers were dumbfounded, as they watched the jeep drive off, while agilely avoiding the obstacles, as if the forest was its home.

He drove for thirty meters straight before he arrived at the other end and drove into a road. Cars honked, as they saw the jeep that suddenly rushed out of the forest. Using the GPS, he drove straight down, while passing through some intersections. Before he arrived on the bridge leading to the city itself, they had to climb the bridge before they could get into the city.

"Hah" - Lucia and Laura sighed in relief as they made their way towards the bridge.
