The next day in Aiden Mansion, Marina woke up to a note from her husband. It says that he has a new project he has to work on at the office and so he had to leave earlier without seeing her and her sleeping so soundly, he didn't want to disturb her.
She smiled as she read the message, "He's such a good person, so when would I start working, at least I'm not a full housewife and neither do I want to be one." She muttered as she rose from the bed.
She went to the mirror and looked at herself in the mirror before going into the bathroom.
She stood under the shower and let the water flow freely on her body. "This life is fucking good," she muttered as she washed her body clean.
Done, she dressed in a fine gown and went to the sitting room while holding a book and a pen.
"Mr. Edward," she called and she stepped foot inside the sitting room.
"Yes, ma'am." He responded as soon as he heard her.
"Please I need your attention." She said as he took a seat on one of the couches in the room.
"Sure, I'll be with you soon."
Edward quickly wrapped up what he was doing before going to meet up with her. On getting there, he bowed to greet her and she dismissed his greetings and asked him to sit on one of the chairs before her.
"Huh?" He was surprised as she said so. As a servant serving them, he believed he wasn't allowed to do that, at least all the households he had served all didn't allow servants to be anywhere near their stuff and now the couch in the living room?
Hesitantly, he dropped his bum on the couch and focused on her.
"Thanks for honoring my call. Hope you are not too busy?"
"No…not at all," he quickly said to her and then asked, "So, why have you called me over?"
"Right," she uttered, bringing out a book and a pen before handing it over to her, "I need to start working and I'm thinking of getting a store and managing it."
"Oh…that's not bad" he replied but he knows full well that his master won't really want his wife to work. "Have you told the master?"
"Not yet. I wanted to ask to see what you would say about it," she responded, eagerly waiting for his reply.
"Oh…actually, I don't think young master will want his wife to work but you can try telling him first. You should hear what he would say, since it's a store, he could accept it."
"Thank you, Edward," she thanked before dismissing him, "You can go, I'll talk to him when he gets back."
As he stood up to leave, she remembered she had a question to ask him, "Where is miss Summer?"
"Oh…she didn't tell you?" He asked, then added, "She went to the young master's office to see her friend."

Aiden's office.
Amira woke up quite early today which made Jayden surprised about what she was up to. She dressed up looking very corporate and when he pressed her enough, she relayed that she was going for a job interview.
And now, she was sitting in the waiting room waiting for her friend to get there. Even though her friend told her to wait, she had tried her luck out first and just as Summer said, they didn't even spare her a glance and were about to call the security on her.
This was the incident that happened that made her sit on the chair, staring at everything going round and very pissed.
Like the speed of light, Summer got there and she hurried over to her friend's place.
"Oh…babe, you look very pissed. What happened? You waited too long?"
"Not that," her face managed to soften as she saw her friend, "I tried to enter but they didn't let me."
"Oh…" Summer sighed then smiled before saying, "I told you that those bitches are so tight with their jobs, they won't let you in without an appointment."
"Right…can we go in now?" Amira asked, still pissed but in haste to get it done with.
"Yeah…sure. Follow me," Summer replied with a smile and they both walked to the receptionist's office.
"So, which of you threatened to throw my friend out?" She shouted, demanding for answers as she got there.
One receptionist standing there was shaken in fear. She heard when the lady told them that she is Miss Summer's friend but they didn't believe her since they thought she was lying. One thing they wouldn't want was to get into Summer's bad side.
"I'm…very sorry ma'am," she tried to form her words to apologize.
"Just shut it, look at her very closely now and next time you let her in," Summer shouted, shutting the lady up.
"Yes, ma'am." She replied before letting them pass and enter the office.
