Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Aiden walked closer to her and said as he looked at her, "And who said there will be a next time?"

"Well…call dad, and he'll let you know," Summer quickly said, trying to retain her stay.

"What do you mean that I should call dad? Dad isn't the one living here, you know? If you want to come stay in my house, you should tell me first!"

Summer scoffed, "So now, it's your house. Now that you are married, your sister needs to take permission from you now while that sh..."

"Watch your mouth, Summer. If I were you, I would think well before uttering any other word because if you say something degrading about my wife, I wouldn't hesitate to throw you out!" Aiden shouted, cautioning her as he figured she was about going nuts.

Summer sniffled a sob, "So, you are choosing your wife over me. Just over my good intentions of coming to know your wife."

"Jesus! Come off it," Aiden scoffed, he got closer to her and stared deep into her eyes as he spat out, "You and I know very well what you came here for. Now, pray that my wife has something good to say about you because if not, your dad wouldn't even be able to retain your stay here."

"Seriously?!" Summer shouted with a wave of her hand. She was surprised about her brother's behavior. She knew that they weren't particularly on good terms but they were neither in bad. He had never given a fuck about who she fucks with so why now? Especially that low class girl.

After saying his mind to Summer, Aiden matched upstairs to their room. He opened the door and entered and he saw a figure laid on the bed. Without putting on the light, he went closer to the bed and placed his hand on Marina.

"Marina…you asleep?" He asked softly as he tapped her gently.

"Huh…" his low voice and taps managed to wake her up and she turned her face towards Aiden who was sitting beside her.

She used the back of her palm to ruffle her eyes and put down her hair. "Sorry, I didn't even know that I would sleep that early. I should have waited till you got back."

"It's okay," Aiden assured rubbing her hand, he asked, "So, about my sister? Are you sure you are okay with her staying here? Hope she's not giving you any problem?"

"Oh…that," Marina smiled before replying, "It's nothing that I can't handle, I've got it." She assured him.

"Alright," Aiden said and moved closer to her and Marina unconsciously moved back.

Aiden saw this and laughed dryly, "You know that I'm not going to bite you, right?"

"I'm sorry about that, it's just a reflex action," she quickly clarified and she came closer to him to prove her point.

Aiden continued what he was about to do and Marina closed her eyes. She felt a warm feeling on her forehead and when she opened her eyes back, she saw Aiden already by the door.

"Sleep well, sugar," Aiden said before leaving.

Marina stared at the door as Aiden left. She moved her hand to the place Aiden had plastered a peck. She smiled satisfactorily before laying down on the bed to sleep.

"Be happy that my wife got nothing on you.." Aiden said as he walked back into the sitting room.

"Your wife's the one making the rules, how?" Summer scoffed as she asked.

"Yes, you got any problems with that?" He raised an eyebrow as he asked.

"No, goodnight," Summer responded with a frown in her face before standing up from the couch and going inside the room that had been prepared for her.

She slammed the door shut behind her as she entered. She sat on the bed and rummaged through her luggage. With a towel in hand and her skin products, she went into the bathroom.

Summer sat back on the bed and dialed a number on her phone, quite pissed.

Ring* Ring* Ring*

"Shut that phone off, I'm trying to sleep," Jayden shouted as Amira phone started beeping.

"Sorry, babe," she said, waking up from her sleep. She slammed her hand on the phone, intent on cutting it off but the caller ID made all the sleep in her eyes go away.

She quickly rose from the bed and went outside the room. As she got inside the sitting room, she picked the phone which was already ringing for the second time.

"What took you so long to answer, babe?" Summer asked, annoyed.

"Sorry babe. Jay and I had a nice time the previous night so I'm stomped."

"Oh…good for you, you are getting it good in ya life," Summer commented over the phone.

"What? What do you mean? What is wrong with you, baby?" Amira asked, concerned as she realized the tone her friend was using on the line. "You are not sounding quite well."

"Well…cause I'm not well." Summer responded curtly.

"Can you believe that my brother planned to throw me out if his wife said so?" She scoffed as she relayed what transpired between her and her brother earlier.

"So, are you out now?"Amira asked.

"No, the bitch knows what's best for her. She told him otherwise," Summer said.

"Well …that's good. So, what is wrong then? You still got the upper hand here," Amira said with a shout out.

"What upper hand, dude?" Summer asked, confused and curious as she doesn't understand a bit what her friend was saying. She just told her that her brother said his wife is the one in charge. How does the upper hand work again in her friend's brain?!

"Wait before you tag me a fool," Amira smiled as she quickly stopped her friend's thoughts as she already assumed what she would be thinking now, "What I meant was that she is afraid of you or respects you. You just need to reel that into her skull. That you are the master."

"Oh Lord! You think I can do that, babe?" Summer asked, placably.

"I think you can do more than that. You can put that bitch in her place."

"Oh…I'll hold on to that then. I'll surely show her who she's dealing with starting from tomorrow!" Summer affirmed with a strong mind.

"Good to see you back," Amira said jokingly.

"Thanks for bringing me back," Summer said with a smile.

"So, now that I'm no longer a dude, how's my work issue going?"

"Ermmm…." Summer thought for a while replying, "You should take your CV to the office tomorrow. I'll come meet you there so that we'll be let in with ease, and the interview will surely go well."

"Thanks babe!"

"No," Summer shook her head as she added, "Don't be, I should be the one thanking you for wanting to help me take down that bitch and I know that it will be so hard trying to get with my brother to spoil their marriage."

"It's okay don't worry, I know what I signed for," Amira said, assuring her.
