Sirena was stunned as she watched Sephora talk.
"The prophecy? Of course I knew that."
She scoffed as she stared at the redhead on the floor. Sirena was shocked to find out that Sephora was also aware of the prophecy.
Sephora looked like a girl that was about Sirena's age. She was a very pretty siren and that's why Sirena couldn't believe that she could harbor and try to implement such thoughts.
"What do you take me for? You and those dumb girls, especially that bitch, Quinn. You thought you're something and you can change what is meant to be?"
She asked, glaring at Sirena with eyes full of venom. Sirena was breathing hard, her heart beating faster than normal. Her hands hardened and her knuckles were so white due to the way she closed them, glaring back at Sephora before her outburst.
"Why are you doing this? Why!"
"Trying to score favor points with the Tryphons? Why not?" She folded her arms as she towered over Sirena.
"Those girls saw you as their protector. They already know you're about to betray them."
Sirena said sternly.
"And who said I already haven't done just that?"
Sephora's tongue rolled the last words like butter. There was a cunning glint in her eyes and a grin that could only convey sinister intentions.
Sirena erupted like a volcano, her nostrils flared as she looked at Sephora almost hopelessly. She wanted to do something but she couldn't get her body to move without pain.
"Chosen siren? Why don't you get up with your injured back so you can stop me?"
She teased, cackling like a witch.
Sirena refused to back down at this point and tried to get up, but it was unsuccessful. The whole time, they were the only ones in the room. Arthur left immediately he hurt her back.
Yes, he was the one that made her come crashing against the floor while Sephora watched.
"What do you stand to gain?" Sirena asked with furrowed brows and rapid breathing. She couldn't control the anger that was beginning to emanate out of her.
"What's with all these tasteless questions? Don't you have any more reasonable questions to ask me before I send you to hell?"
Sephora hissed before she stared down at her perfectly curated claws and stretched out hand so they could glisten in the light and shine. She looked bored and barely spared Sirena a glance.
Sirena tried to stand up again slowly and the very second she was able to, she rushed at the evil siren queen. She was so enraged that she had no idea what she was going to do, but Sephora had to be brought down.
Using her claws to scratch her across her chest, Sephora retaliated, pushing her back on the ground.
At this point, it was clear that Sephora was ready to hurt her.
Sephora lifted herself off the ground and out of her hands shot out sparks of ice that hit Sirena all over her face like she was in some battlefield. Before Sirena could recover from that one, another one came blasting her again, causing her face to contort with rage and pain.
"Angel, please help me, please. How did she do that…please help–" Sirena cried out as it was her only option at this point. What was she thinking when she thought she could defeat this scary witch?
"We've just discovered an old Siren. It's no wonder she knew about the prophecy now." Angel replied as a matter of fact.
"What do you mean?" Sirena tried to figure her out and she was already having an idea but it didn't feel great in her head.
"She's the second to the last of her kind. The siren shifters. She can change forms and reincarnate at the face of death into the same body. She has been doing it for centuries. It explains everything."
Sirena barely managed to catch her heart before it leapt out of her chest in shock. She didn't expect to be caught off guard.
"And I'm expected to fight against her?" She asked, panicking, her voice wavered and she felt her eyes water.
"It's unclear why the system chose you since obviously, you've got nothing going on for you."
Angel made the rude remark, totally causing Sirena to go into a frenzy.
"Must you be mean? Even now? Your host is about to die and will die if you don't help her!"
"I believe it means something bad, but I'll cope. Watch out!" Angel yelled but it was already too late.
Another ball of ice came crashing down on her and this time, it took her everything to recover.
"Stand up, chosen siren! Show me what you've got! You can't possibly be a weakling like the others. Do something! Fight me you weakling and watch me kill you anyway, just like the others that have dared to challenge me over the years. Do you know how long I have waited for this? The deal is almost done and you'll die for nothing!"
Sephora kept spitting out venom from her mouth in anger, as if she hated that people were always trying to interfere in what she was trying to do. She looked so scary that Sirena could only hope for a miracle.

Really freaking out now, Sirena suddenly felt a surge of electricity run through her body and she felt powerful.
Rising up to her feet to Sephora's surprise, Sirena shot literal daggers through her eyes that burned eternally. Taking Sephora by surprise, both knives hit Sephora on the two sides of her arms and pinned her directly to the wall, burning her skin.
Sirena closed her eyes and opened it, shocked at what she had just done.
"Congratulations, your rage has unlocked level one of your powers."
Angel said, shocking her. Simultaneously, Sephora cried out, yelling at her to get the knives off her and let her go.
"What did you just do, you evil witch! I'm burning up! Get these knives off me this instant!"
