Chapter 12 - They Are Your Roommates

Her parents could only go so far in taking their princess back to school. As soon as she got on board, they said their goodbyes and Sirena was now on her own.

She was supposed to know where she was going since she had apparently been going by herself, but now she felt lost. If she realized on time, she would have begged her parents to come with, faking a headache at the last minute.

She could only hope she won't get lost or blow her cover. Immediately the plane landed, someone called out to her. It was some man in a suit and she immediately recognized him based on the old Sirena's memories. He was her usual personal driver anytime they were on vacation when she was younger.

Forcing a weak smile when she saw him, he walked up to her, greeted her and took her luggage to get it to the car.

"Young Miss, welcome." He welcomed her with a smile. Trevor and her didn't have so much history since he was actually a good driver that didn't try to hit on her, but she noticed that something was off with him. He looked unhappy for some reason. She tried to tell herself that it didn't concern her so she could move ahead.

"Thank you Trevor. Please get me to school on time."

"Will do." He replied curtly.

Sirena got into the jeep to see loads of junk and snacks occupying a seat in the back. There were tons of energy drinks as well. Shaking her head in disdain, she could see that she was going to have a hard time pretending to be the old Sirena.

Gulping down one of the drinks, she convinced herself that it was to act the part and prepare for what was waiting for her in school.

It didn't take long before the jeep drove into the school premises and Sirena could only stare. The buildings and the scenery were out of this world, too exquisite to be true.

This was the life of the elites of the elites. Her husband was rich but this? This was definitely a discovery. The old Sirena definitely had a good life.

The driver got her to the building situated towards the end of the university. It was big, and Sirena could tell that it was some sort of accommodation, but she still wanted to know what exactly it was.

"Angel. Where are we?"

"Your accommodation. You've been living here since you gained admission and you have three roommates."

"I do?" She asked rhetorically but Angel still replied to her.

"Yes you do. Make yourself comfortable."

"Do you know what my relationship with them is like?" Sirena asked, looking around and studying the building. Trevor was getting her luggage out of the car at this point. She also came down as well.

"Find out for yourself. The system is meant to guide you, not answer your cute, silly questions. You have to earn your keep."

"Ouch? For a robot, you're really mean. Were you programmed like that or you tweaked it yourself?"

"Such a tease. Alright, your next task is on the way so prepare. I'll leave you to your reality so get settled in. You have so much more in store for you."

"Wait, what do you mean by much more? Angel, Angel!"

Angel didn't speak again and Sirena looked around, seeing that she was shouting out loud. If people were near they would've thought she was crazy.

After exchanging goodbyes with Trevor, she rolled her luggage all the way to the building. She noticed that there were plenty of rooms in the building and they all looked the same. She could also tell that they were curated in expensive details.

"At least help me with the room number will you? There are tons of rooms here."

Sirena asked Angel but in the coming seconds, she realized that she didn't need help. Some girl opened up a room, saw her and screamed before rushing to her.

"Omg you're back queen Sirena! I'm so glad you're okay!"

She was a girl around Sirena's age and had blonde hair. She had an annoying voice but totally befitting for a spoiled rich girl.

She replied in high spirits as she grabbed Sirenas luggage and began to roll it towards the room herself. Sirena recognized her to be one of her roommates, but she has no memories of the recent times she spent with her. Sirena had no idea if they were having issues or not but she decided to play along until she got clarity.

Getting to the room, Sirena could barely take a look around before the blonde girl screamed at the top of her lungs like a spoiled teenager that just received the most expensive gift in the world.

"Guess who's back!"

Two heads turned to look at her with full smiles on her face. They were both dressed in casual wears but the blonde one was on her uniform.

"Look, it's Sirena!" One of them literally gasped as she stared at Sirena, as if she couldn't believe that she was actually looking at her.

"I was so worried! I thought we lost you. I'm so glad you're back." She cried out, standing up to embrace Sirena who was clearly worn out and wanted the whole ordeal to be over. She didn't expect her roommates to be this loud and over the place since it was a school that supposedly practiced doctrines.

"Uhm, thanks." Sirena replied, forcing out a weak smile in return.

Sirena located an empty bed and went to it, pushing her luggage aside and sitting on the bed. The room was very spacious and enough to fit ten more people comfortably and she just didn't understand what she space was for.

The other roommate came to join her on the bed. She was brown haired and quite shorter.

"Let me help you unpack, you should get some rest." The girl offered.

"Angel, what do you think?" Sirena called out to the ai in a hushed voice. She didn't want to look crazy if they saw her supposedly talking to herself.

"Earn your keep." Angel replied in the same automated tone that drove Sirena mad.

"I hate you." She snarled callously, very much irritated.

"I'm sure."

"Ugh!" She said tastelessly before turning to look at an already waiting roommate.

"Uhm, yeah sure. I think that's a good idea. Thank you for offering to help out."

Amelia packed her bag so she had no idea what the luggage contained anyway, so she decided to risk it and hope she'll be okay for trusting too easily.

Sirena drifted into deep sleep immediately her face crashed her bed. She was exhausted.
