Her mom was a monster.
Jibril swung her whip and her strike was true — or it should have been were it not for the whip suddenly bouncing away from her mom.
"Baby~"
"What did I say about sloppy attacks like that?"
Jibril gritted her teeth in defiance and immediately let go of the whip in her hand, just in time as her mom grabbed the end of the whip and pulled.
Now unarmed, she rushed forward with a fist cocked back. Her mom took a step back creating just a smidgen of distance. She pushed her foot down and pivoted, using the momentum of her punch to turn on her pivot foot and reach the distance with a roundhouse kick.
The blow resounded out, wind rushed past from the force of the impact between her leg and her mom's guard.
It's been over half a year since she got back to the past and she still couldn't get her mom to take her seriously.
