I stirred awake to Reina's prodding. My body felt a bit heavier than I was used to. 

"Ugh."

I gave out a big yawn as I sluggishly got up from my sleeping bag. I guess the nonstop channeling of mana took more out of me than I initially realized.

I did some stretching to limber up my body for the day's activities. Today, we'd be checking out the results of our little trick yesterday, collecting our spoils, and hopefully make our way to the next floor without any more hold ups. We had a quick breakfast, promptly tidied up after ourselves, and got ready.

Last night, before we retired for the night, Vera had lowered down the temporary wall a tad to allow air from inside the cavern to seep out. Had we not done so, there was a good chance for the cave to still be unbearably hot with all the heat and hot air trapped inside a confined space.

"Okay. Let's do this."
