With our hastened pace, we reached the next floor in about an hour. By cutting through the rudimentary traps instead of the normal trap dismantling we did.

The dungeon itself wasn't that big. The only reason why it was time-consuming to go through is for practice.

The Artificial Dungeon Simulation, at its core, existed to provide a suitable training ground or practice area for students. After all, dungeon diving wasn't just about combat. It was also about navigating, scouting, camping, rotations, cooperation, and more.

Although we could comfortably beat the monsters present — excluding the anomalous hobgoblin we cooked alive — it didn't mean that our skills in dungeon diving were up to par. 

The allotted time for this exam was a full week. Our initial plan for our dive was to reach the sixth floor by the second day, reach the seventh floor by the third, and decide on whether we'd keep going or go back by then.
