Vera tittered out. "Okay, fine. It might be a little bit my fault…"
Deep in the recesses of the sixth floor, we found ourselves ambushed by a pack of márawolves led by a direwolf. The evolution of a márawolf was significantly bigger than the rest of its pack. Its dark colored fur blending it into the darkness as it somehow blocked the light coming from the manaliths.
"But! Maybe it's a new feature of the dungeon, you know! And we're just the first ones to test it out!"
"Do you really believe that?"
"Not really, no."
Thankfully, we still had enough leeway to joke around for now after having repelled their initial jump.
