The cacophony was relentless, invading my mind even in the depths of my unconsciousness. The sounds were so piercingly close, as if whispered directly into my ear, that I could no longer remain still. The noise pulled me from the abyss, forcing me to rise from the depth of darkness.
A blinding light seared through my eyelids, making my eyes burn. I squeezed them shut tighter, trying to block out the brightness. Slowly, I dared to open them again, attempting to adjust my vision. But before I could, a man appeared, shouting something at me. His words were incomprehensible, but his anger was unmistakable. Why was he so furious? I had no idea.
I forced my eyes open wider, struggling to make sense of the situation. Another man approached, speaking urgently, but again, his words were lost on me. My ears were ringing, and my mind felt like a crumpled piece of paper, blank and unresponsive.
Suddenly, the second man tried to lift me to my feet. Instinctively, I grabbed his arm and threw him to the ground with surprising ease. He groaned in pain, reaching for something on his shoulder and speaking into it.
I stood up, my entire body aching, and looked around in bewilderment. Towering buildings loomed over me, as tall as mountains. I turned in every direction, panting in fear and confusion, trying to figure out where I was as I stood there, my body aching and my mind racing, I took in the towering buildings around me. They stretched high into the sky, their glass facades reflecting the harsh sunlight, creating a dazzling array of blinding reflections. The structures were sleek and modern, with sharp angles and steel frames that seemed to pierce the heavens.
The streets below were a chaotic maze of activity. People hurried past, but as they caught sight of me, they slowed, their faces shifting from in difference to utter awe. Eyes widened and mouths gaped as they stared, transfixed by my presence. Things that i couldn't understand of all shapes and sizes zoomed by, their loud engines roaring and loud honk noises blaring at me, adding to the cacophony that filled the air. The smell of exhaust fumes mixed with the scent of street food from nearby vendors, creating a pungent, almost overwhelming aroma.
Lights of different colours and screens flashed brightly, advertising everything from the latest technology to exotic destinations. The vibrant colors and constant motion were dizzying, making it hard to focus on any one thing.
I turned in every direction, my heart pounding and my breath coming in short gasps. The sheer scale of the city was overwhelming, and I felt a deep sense of disorientation and fear. Where was I? How did I get here? The questions swirled in my mind, but there were no answers, only the relentless noise, the towering buildings, and the countless eyes watching me in silent wonder.
But what surprised me the most was my senses, it was like they were skyrocketed to work a hundred times than normal.
Everything that I heard was so loud in my ears that they caused my head to ache.....
not that it wasn't aching in the first place. But to additional to the noises, it got worse.
The Man I threw earlier, he got up,and I could feel him approach me again, carefully.
I turned and stared at him, the moment I stared at him, he took a step back and spoke, but again, i couldn't understand anything, only this throbing headache that I couldn't get rid off.
I shook my head to clear my mind when something that moved by itself stopped a couple of feet away from me.
.....
"Holy!!!" Was what the police woman said the moment she saw what was right In the middle of the road.
The Man beside him stared at her as if annoyed before he shook his head and stopped their patrol car right Infront of the man.
The two came out and stood aside to study the situation before they take action, but the woman was too caught up by what was infront of her. "Good heavens" she muttered she stared at him in utter awe.
The man clutching his head was a striking figure, a young man with a physique that seemed sculpted from marble. Standing at an impressive six feet, his well-defined muscles rippled across his bare torso. He wore only a pair of tattered trousers, frayed at the ends, and his feet were bare. His shoulder-length blonde hair cascaded over his forehead, partially obscuring his face as he grimaced in pain, with one of his hands holding on to hia forehead, revealing the rippled muscles on his arm, clearly suffering from a severe headache.
"Leave him alone," the man beside her insisted, his voice tinged with disbelief at the policewoman's mutterings.
The police officer, shaking his head in exasperation, approached the man cautiously, as if nearing a wild animal. "Hey there..." he called out softly. The moment he spoke, the man's piercing light blue eyes locked onto his, leaving the woman in awe. She couldn't help but marvel at this living embodiment of divine craftsmanship standing before her. His long, dark lashes framed those mesmerizing eyes, while thick brows, a chiseled nose, and perfectly defined lips completed his striking visage.
"Don't move!!!" the police who was thrown a while ago told the man with a gun in his hand pointed at him, who stood in the middle of the road, with only trousers on the moment the others seemed to take action on the man.
The man turn his head and his piercing gaze caught the man off guard. His movements were as swift as the wind, a blur of motion that left everyone stunned. In an instant, he grabbed the arm of the policeman who had the gun aimed at him. With a powerful yank, he pulled the officer towards him, twisting his arm with such force that the gun clattered to the ground. Without missing a beat, he hurled the officer into the other policeman standing in front of him, sending them both sprawling.
The police woman stepped in in which at that moment she already called the others as well "sir.." she called out, without a gun in his hands before she raised her arms in mid air as the man stared at her with that piercing gaze as well " We want to help..... if you'd cooperate..." the man held his ears as if they were in pain when the police sirens got closer to the site where they were, and the police woman didn't fail to caught this. She turned her back when suddenly she heard a groan ans a loud thud which caused her to turn back and see what was going on, only to see the police guy who got thrown to the other now thrown to a car groaning in pain.
" Okay now you got on my bad side" The woman took her gun out and said " Raise your arms in the air, and don't make me repeat myself "
.....
My head was throbbing and these people only made it worse with their constant noises they made. And my body, I felt like I was the one who was controlled instead of being the one I control.
Before I could think....not that I was able to anyway, my body would act on it's own as it's sense danger and attack like a maniac. And each time I tried to take control, my headache would get worse, so I just went with the flow...uuuuuuuuntil I felt like attacking the woman, who's gun was pointed right on my face.
She was pretty far, but i wanted to approach her and do the same thing to her as i did to her friends. One of them aside me bleeding, the other infront of me groaning and grimacing in pain. I wanted to attack her, break her arms so this sense of danger in me could stop, and I could have my relief, but no, she was a woman, and by the looks of it a fragile one, though she tried to look tough, which if it was at any moment other than this one would be quite funny, but nop. This throbbing and the sense of danger in me found nothing funny and nothing made sense, til I felt a sense of danger and that too a strong one behind me when I turned and attack them like a maniac, throwing and hurting those infront of me as if sacks that weigh nothing. I know right now I should be weak after waking up in the middle of nowhere with no memories of what happened or how i got there, but a part from this headache, I felt more alive than ever, and the strength I had in me, I fought them like a maniac til suddenly, I felt something run through me, and I couldn't move as the waves went through me and suddenly, all went blank...
Just like that.
