Chapter 9 - Son

The next morning, the blonde man woke up with a throbbing headache. He groaned, grabbing his head as the pain from being hit three times in a single day pulsed through his skull. Blinking his eyes open, he realized he was back in the same cell, the familiar bars surrounding him.

"Not again," he muttered under his breath, cursing his luck, not realising what he just said. How many times had he been in here now? Right, this was the third time. When would he finally get a chance to rest and figure out what was going on?

He thought to himself as he struggled to stand.

He stood up slowly, his body aching from the previous day's events. His mind raced with questions. How had he ended up here again? What was happening? And most importantly, who in the world returned home in this same place?!!!!

As he paced the small cell, trying to piece together the fragments of his memory, he remembered the moment before he blacked out. He was about to strangle someone when a sharp pain exploded at the back of his head. If this kept happening, he wouldn't just lose his memories—he wouldn't even remember yesterday!

He thought with frustration killing his painful head.

Frustrated, he sighed and approached the bars, ready to bend them again. Just as he was about to start, a familiar female voice rang out, "Don't you dare!"

The blonde man froze, his heart pounding. He turned to see Hee Jin standing there, her eyes filled with a mix of determination and anger. The first thing he realized was that he understood her perfectly. How was that possible? Just last night, he couldn't communicate with them at all, and now, out of nowhere he understoodherperfectly. What in the world was going on with him?!!.

Digging deeper into his frustration, he shouted, expecting his words to come out in his language which he spoke before but instead, they came out in theirs, "Then stop locking me in these damn dungeons!"

Everyone stared in shock, especially HeeJin. The room fell silent as they all processed what had just happened. The blonde man himself was stunned, trying to make sense of this new development. How had he suddenly gained the ability to understand and speak their language? What was really going on here? The blonde man stood there, stunned by his sudden ability to understand and speak the language.

Lee Sung scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief. "Well, well, Hee Jin, it looks like your alien has finally learned how to speak our language. And in less than a day, no less."

Hee Jin stared at the blonde man, her eyes narrowing as she approached him. "You speak my language now? What happened to the weird gugugaga you were spouting yesterday?"

The blonde man sighed in frustration, clearly as confused as they were. "I don't know what happened, i myselfam as shocked as you are right now" he admitted, his voice tinged with exasperation. "But just get me out of here."

Hee Jin smirked, an evil glint in her eyes. "You fooled the police and now you dare to ask to be released?" she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

The blonde man clenched his fists, trying to keep his temper in check. "I didn't fool anyone," he said through gritted teeth. "I just want to understand what's happening to me."

Hee Jin crossed her arms, her smirk widening. "Well, maybe if you start cooperating and stop attacking people,we might consider it,"

"And escaping as well as,making up weird languages" Lee Sung added. Hee jin sigh and continued. "But until then, you're staying right where you are."

The blonde man felt his frustration boiling over. "I can't handle being locked up like this!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the cell walls. He was about to create a fuss when the door suddenly opened, and a man stepped in, calling out, "Dae Hyun!"

The blonde man turned, his eyes widening in recognition. "Dae Hyun?" he repeated, his mind racing. Who was this man, and what in the world did he just call him?

All turned to see who it was. Standing in the doorway was the man who had helped the blonde guy escape the police yesterday—Min Suu. Hee Jin and Lee Sung exchanged looks before they stared back at Min Suu with knowing smiles.

Min Suu entered in a hurry and ran to the cell. "My son, you spent the night here in this cold place. I'll get you out," he said urgently.

Everyone, including the blonde guy whom Min Suu had called Dae Hyun, looked at him in shock. **Son?** Did he just say son? The thought echoed in their minds.

He was a hundred percent sure he had no relations whatsoever with this person let alone be his dad.

But Min Suu continued, "Worry less! Your mother is waiting for you back at home."

Dae Hyun's mind raced with confusion and questions. **Mother? Home?** He had no memory of these people or this place, now he was telling that he had a mother, he wanted to scoff but remained silent and only watched where this was heading.

He glanced at Hee Jin and Lee Sung, who were still watching with those knowing smiles, and wondered what kind of situation he had truly found himself in.

Lee Sung sigh and went to Min Suu and asked him

" You're this guy's father?"

Min Suu nodded in agreement " Yes i am" Lee Sung stared at Hee jin before turning back to Min Suu and gestured him to sit to a chair. "Have a seat, mr.Mim Suu."

But Min Suu shook his head. "I only came here to bail my son out."

Hee Jin smirked and stepped forward. "No offence mr. Min Suu but..We saw a CCTV footage of you hitting your own son on the head, knocking him unconscious before dragging him away. Care to explain, good sir?"

Min Suu took a deep breath, gathering his courage. "My son vanished three days ago, I thought he was just spending his time with his friends when I saw the news on TV that he was found lying unconscious in the middle of the road. I was shocked and surprised by this and left home right away to look for him. When I got there, he was already gone, and I didn't know where he had disappeared to. His pregnant mother was worried sick, so I searched everywhere for him."

He paused, glancing at Dae Hyun, who was listening intently. "As I was searching, I found him fighting some people. I thought they were the ones who had kidnapped him days ago, and that he was trying to escape. I didn't realize he was fighting the police. If I had known, I would never have done what I did. So, when I saw him, I knocked him out to make it easier to escape with him. If they were really goons, I knew they would come back for him, and I was prepared to report them to the police."

Hee Jin's smirk faded slightly as she considered his words. "That's quite a story," she said, her tone less mocking. "But it doesn't change the fact that you interfered with a police operation."

" Do you know that your son is pretending with us that he cannot understand a word we said and that he lost his memories? As in he has amnesia?" Lee Sung asked Min suu expecting him to lie, thst he didn't know about this, but surprisingly, he nodded.

" I know officer, when I took him back home yesterday, I tried to ask him what happened as soon as he woke up five hours later, but he didn't sat a word nor recognise me, he even came to me and tried to attack me as his mind am quite sure is in a complete mess, but my wife rescued me by hitting him on his head which made him fall unconscious again. It hurt her a lot for what was happening to our son but she had no choice but to take action."

Hee jin and Lee sung stared at each other, falling into his lies, even the blonde was confused and impressed, this man knew how to use his tongue.

He stared at hee jin who told him he'd have to wait inorder for them to bail him out, and Min Suu nodded, his expression earnest. "I understand, and I'm willing to face the consequences. But please, let my son go. He doesn't deserve to be locked up for something he didn't do."

Hee Jin and Lee Sung exchanged a look, the tension in the room palpable. Finally, Hee Jin sighed. "We'll see what we can do," she said, turning to leave. "But don't expect any miracles."

As the door closed behind them, Min Suu turned to Dae Hyun, his eyes filled with worry. "Hang in there, son. We'll get through this."

The blonde shook his head and scoffed " the nerves of this man"
