Michael Shoevault, 18, a fresh-faced university student majoring in Business Management, was only here for one reason: he knew it could land him a well-paying job without winding up on the streets. *CompSci? Too much competition,* he thought with a smirk. He was after a low-key life, nothing stressful—just steady paychecks, peace, and quiet.
Michael was aware of his good fortune. Both his parents earned well and had connections, so job-hunting wouldn't be much of a struggle. "Life's a little easier when you're connected," he mused, strolling toward campus.
While life might have seemed uneventful to some, Michael liked it that way. "I'm lucky," he thought, mentally listing his comforts: loving, healthy parents, a cozy home, warm bed, food whenever he wanted, clean drinking water, a phone, a laptop, electricity. He knew that these weren't luxuries everyone had.
Just as he was about to revel in this "perfect life," fate intervened. A flash of headlights, the squeal of tires, and then… impact.
The world went dark, and when Michael opened his eyes, he found himself in a drab, cramped dorm room. "Did I transmigrate? Am I in a coma? Or... just lucid dreaming?" he wondered.
He took a deep breath. He'd read enough about lucid dreaming to know the dos and don'ts. First rule: stay calm. Don't let extreme emotions like fear, anger, or excitement mess things up. Next, avoid negative self-talk; it would only create a bad atmosphere, maybe even end the dream. Rule three: don't force anything—trying to control every little thing never works out. Rule four: don't focus too much on waking life; it could pull him out of the dream. And lastly, don't try anything dangerous. He might feel invincible here, but still—no cliff jumping or reckless behavior.
With that checklist in mind, Michael took a deep breath and prepared himself to make the most of this strange new reality.
He got up looked himself in the mirror. His appearance changed he has an androgynous, feminine appeal. His soft, shoulder-length brunette hair falls in gentle layers, giving him a delicate frame around his oval face. His brown eyes are warm and expressive, with a small beauty mark near his left eye adding to his soft allure. Standing at 5'7", his figure is slender, with a narrow waist and delicate shoulders, giving him an elegant, almost fragile appearance. His body has feminine curves, including a modest bust (34B), a slim 28-inch waist, and subtly rounded hips (37 inches), which create a graceful hourglass silhouette. Overall, Demetri embodies a femboy aesthetic, combining a delicate appearance with understated confidence, giving off an almost ethereal charm that catches people off guard.
Apart from his appearance and memories of he recieved of the person he took over nothing is too out of the ordinary and he isn't in a lucid dream. His new name is 'Demetri Hanns, what an odd name?' He thought to himself.
He remembered now, 'I guess I must've done something terrible in past life that they want me to die once more again? To be transmigrated in the body of a fodder villain. He mused to himself, no system and no cheats what a cruel world.
'Right now I have done nothing wrong. I haven't chased after or tried to get one of the girls that the hypocritical MC of the novel's harem members. So I am in no danger. Maybe a peaceful life really is waiting for me.' Thought as he was quite happy.
He kneeled before the god and hoped that his past life parents were doing well without him. 'Mother, father hopefully you two are over my death. Please be happier without me.' He said inside his head while tears streamed down his eyes. After a while of shedding tears he got up and wiped it off.
He got changed wearing a loose, pastel-colored button-up shirt with rolled sleeves, paired with soft, tapered trousers or wide-legged culottes, topped with a lightweight, open-front cardigan, complemented by delicate loafers and a thin floral scarf. He went downstairs made some breakfast and went to University of Luxembourg.
Michael or rather Demetri's new life has began in Germany now. In this life his parents aren't part of his life, he is an orphan that moved out with the support of scholarships, and student finance. He could move out and live in a small apartment with one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom well if you can even count the living room being part of the kitchen as a living room.
30 minutes of walking later...
Demetri got to his campus on the free shuttle bus from his dorm apartment to university. In this life he is also doing Business Management what a good thing as he thanked God for it. He looked around while walking exploring the campus and uni.
One thing he knows is that there are quite a lot of rich second-generation heir in this university. And of course as the shitty rich second-generation novel plot goes the girls are trying to seduce and trying to get their attention so that they can secure a good and easy life for themselves.
'Well I can understand, having some rich guy pamper you with lots of money does sounf good.' Demetri tries sympathies.
'Well I am not attractive enough so I shouldn't even try. I should also start going to the gym, if the one in university is free might as well.' Demetri thought focusing on self-improvement and not on the people.
Demetri walked behind some people in the lecture hall which was quite big could fit around 600 or so students as he scanned his card on the reader to register him as present.
He sat beside a girl of similar age as him she has long black hair tied up in a bun with a few strands on the back of the neck, small face big green eyes, she looked to be around 5'5ft or 5'6ft well can't know since we are sitting.
It was the introduction week so we just had to chat with people and get know about the modules we had chosen for the first year for some unis it could be different where everyone does the same unit for first year and the second and third year it changes. But for my case we had to choose our modules for first year.
"Nice to meet you my name is Demetri Hanns. Please to meet you miss." Demetri introduced himself to the girl next to him. She put her phone flat down so you can't see the screen and shook my hand.
"Nice to meet you Demetri. My is Anna Liebert, I hope we can get along with each other." She said with enthusiasm.
"Yes same. Where are from?" Demetri asked her a question as she let of his hand.
"I am from the UK and lived in England." She said with a British accent.
"Oh? I heard some things about the weather being not consistent at all. One second its nice and sunny then the next snowing or raining."Demetri added as Anna was quite surprised that Demetri knew something like that.
"Wow. You even know about that. So did you also live in England?" She asked a little intrigued.
"No, I could never live there. I much prefer here it has some good scenic places and is quite peaceful." Demetri says with a smile appreciating the calm and peacefulness of quiet lecture hall now as the professor stopped everyone from talking since he is going through the slides now.
Anna laughed and said, "Okay, I agree. This place is quite pretty. I hope the people are too."
Demetri laughs and then continues, "Hey why did you choose this course?"
"I just heard that the salary is quite high and I can earn a good amount of money."
"Yup, I totally agree. Computer science is good, but the workload is too much. I heard that at the end of your third year, you need to finish a project and do a dissertation while in Business Management, it's less stressful." Anna said sighing a relief.
